I am a Freshman in my second semester at this school. I spent my first semester at a different…read moreschool so this is my first semester here. I have not only been ignored by my teachers, but the administration is rude. I am coming up on a deadline to register for fall/summer classes, and I had refreshed my emails and messages for weeks looking for instructions. I had even called the school and emailed my advisor once I finally found out who she was. In the end, I had to contact the advising office to get a group email sent out so that I could get a response. This woman proceeded to say that she has tried multiple times to contact me (I have no messages from her), say this is a recurring pattern (this is my first semester here and i have never received any messages from her this entire semester), and ask the other administrator how they should address this as if I'm not in the email as well. She also asks if she should send proof, which I would appreciate from her because I missed my mandatory group advising due to this. In my opinion, this is highly unprofessional and the amount of miscommunication and lack of responses from the staff at this school does not reflect the quality of service they offer.

God guided me to go to this college. For a reason. I said a prayer to go to college and I should have gone into culinary school. But then some talked me into going into healthcare. I paid my way to college. I respected every professor on that campus. And now I stand in 2025 and find out that you fired a professor of biology. For stating what??? I will never give anything less than five stars for this college. Firing the professor? There is only biological male. biological females. told the x-ray tech back then that I didn't believe in 1997 Yes, I broke my spine. I wish I would've listened to the master PT. Yes I did. For Parents of Incoming Freshmen I want to offer a quick,…read morehonest warning to other parents: One of the biggest challenges we've faced is the lack of communication and mentorship for students. Advisors, faculty, and departments often provide little to no guidance, leaving students to navigate important academic decisions on their own. If your child thrives on clear direction, regular check‑ins, or structured support, this may be a difficult environment. Parents are kept almost completely out of the loop, making it hard to understand what your student needs or what's happening academically. Before committing, make sure your student is prepared to advocate for themselves and operate independently--because consistent communication and mentorship are not guaranteed.

I went through homelessness, DV, my computers, I pads stolen... they provided me with a computer (Thanks miss Jean in the library)! Stacy, from Human Affairs... Nothing that can't happen! I needed a ride from the neighborhood I loved in to school. Hitched a ride with a classmate! All it took was some prayers and an email! Not to mention! She has the BEST PLANTS IVE EVER SEEN! A MUST SEE! Andrea Anyubeana, there isn't anything he won't do to help you succeed, you come across troubles in your studies, he's your man! Someone told me he's leaving Concorde, that's a shame as well! He's smart, works around ANY obstacles, and cares about the success of the students first and foremost! He's quick to fix his mistakes and come to you when he's made one. I don't know ANYONE that can carry the load of 3 different jobs as a director like he did! He should have put a cot in his office lol! Angela Ortiz! Hands DOWN! The BEST Instructor anyone can ask for! She had so much patience for the new people coming in, figuring it out, broke down vocabulary from medical terminology to laments terms, there was NEVER a stupid question in her classroom. She NEVER treated anyone ignorant or talked down on anyone. We had questions, she was quick to break down the answer. There was NEVER the answer "because that's how it is".... Other instructors there, I didn't receive the same experience. It's a shame it was her last class! She's AMAZING! Makes the best strawberry cake around y'all! Nancy Garcia !!!! Thanks for making my dreams come true! Giving me the grace and allowing me to present myself and be nothing else! And telling me it's a beautiful thing who I am and what I've done to change my life and make it better. Telling me my smile and spunk lights up the room! To NEVER LOOSE THAT! Giving me the courage to do things I NEVER thought would happen! To calmly draw blood is truly an art! You instructed me, guided me when I screwed up, and NEVER made me feel inadequate or told me I'll NEVER get it. Encouraging words and constructive criticism in such a way that was receivable and helpful. You're a beautiful representation of how a guidance counselor should be! You supersede it actually! Live your dreams lady! Keep it up as well! Thanks to all of you who supported my dreams and the life long legacy I will carry as long as I live! I love what I do and who I've become today! But my experience here was not what I expected. The teachers were pretty cool but other than that the rest was just a pure mess! Too short and too fast, little amount of students, and no information about nothing what's so ever! No exam prepping, no information on how or when to take the exam. I had to figure everything out for myself and to be paying almost $1,500 out of pocket the school should done a better job to ensure that the students are well prepared, even as short as 2 months. Without my knowledge as a medical assistant I could say with confidence that I would not have been confident working in the healthcare field with just these 2 months of education for a phlebotomist tech. I do not recommend if this is your first step into healthcare!
