If that business does not have the expertise to do this work, he should have been honest enough to refer me to a more knowledgeable professional. He was patient, didn't act rushed, answered all questions, was polite and friendly, and said "let me earn your business." So I thought hell let me give this guy a shot. They fixed the car, didn't charge me $150 just to get in the door, and ran a free diagnostic the dealerships charges for. They even went out of their way to squeeze my car into their busy schedule. While I realize that's not always possible, I really appreciated it. My total was $250--half of Ford dealership's cost (I checked.). Several days later the car is running great. MIKE called my wife to make sure everything is OK. He even told her the story about their shop Kitty, Nitro. A baby kitten stuck in a transmission they found then bottle-fed back to health. A cute little cat running around the shop who was just a bundle of joy--animal lovers always go to the top of my list.
