I don't really like Chinese food. It's never my go-to cuisine or my craving. However on cold, gloomy days when I just want some soup and real/good-enough ramen is not accessible, those chinese congees and noodle soups start looking good. Still, I never actually look forward to it. It's more of an 'okay, i'll settle for it' kinda thing. Until I tried this place! I guess I got a new appreciation for noodle dishes. The noodles, of course, are the stars of the dish. It doesn't even matter what particular dish you order (lol, told you I'm not much into it but I had the braised beef something and it was great), but if you already like (real) ramen, you'll appreciate this. The hand-pulled noodles they make on-premises are legit-- thick, firm, and truly not "instant" tasting, if that makes sense. This Marcos Highway branch needs some refurbishing though. The inside's already a bit dim and could do with more decorating. read more
