After undergoing LASIK refractive surgery at your clinic, I can confidently say it has been one of the most life-changing decisions I have ever made. From my very first consultation, I knew I was in the best possible hands. It is natural to feel a bit of nerves when it comes to eye surgery, but your team's professionalism, warmth, and transparency immediately put me at ease. Thank you for taking the time to explain every technical detail, answering all my questions with patience, and providing the peace of mind I needed to move forward. The Precision of the Procedure: The surgery was incredibly fast and efficient. It is clear that you utilize world-class technology combined with elite surgical skill. I have so many friends that have gone to see Dr Jonathan Lam that I just had to try him as well…read more My first experience with the office was extremely frustrating. They are short handed and apparently only speak with new patients (to schedule) on Fridays. I had to leave my name and they would call me on Fridays. Unfortunately, that did not happen so I called back the next week and was told the same thing - - I decided to give it one more try and finally on Friday I did receive a call. I finally got an appointment but on the day, Dr. Lam was unable to be in the office so my appointment was canceled. I called back and got another appointment and I'm glad I persevered. Once I was there, I met the most gracious office personnel. The technologists were extremely kind and thorough. Nobody rushed me through anything. Everyone cared about how I was feeling at the time. I have a number of tests that I must do annually so my appointments usually take a long time - - this was a pleasure. When Dr Lam came in, he explained everything to me and answered absolutely all of my questions. One week later I had to go back for a procedure that sounded a bit scary. Again, Dr Lam answered all of my questions - - the procedure was NO BIG DEAL -- I say that in caps because I do NOT like people touching my eyes! I almost gave this 4 stars because of the trouble I had getting an appointment but it was so worth the wait that I bumped it to five! (I would suggest they hire another person or two for the front desk so as not to turn away patients)

Dr. Mitchell and Dr. Lam collaborated on the surgery, and their staff and nurses were outstanding in their preparation and care. Following the procedure, my cataracts were successfully removed, and my visual acuity is now 20/20 or better in each eye, eliminating my need for glasses. I followed his protocol to the letter with drops and just general, good hygiene and everything came out perfect. When I went for my final consult it was a different doctor. He was insulting. He spoke Directly to my daughter who drove me because of dialating drops and COMPLETELY ignored me, and when I told him I was the patient, he just turned around and kept talking to my daughter . I must add that I am not feeble even though I'm a senior and my hearing and comprehension is more than just average . However because he was speaking directly to her in a normal tone, I couldn't grasp his full sentences . I did interrupt him which seemed to annoy him to remind him that it was I who is the patient. He completely ignored me and continued to address her . Which was embarrassing for her. I didn't get to ask any questions. I will return to Naples Florida to Dr David Tran and have him look at my left eye . Making eye contact with the patient is an opportunity to then ask a question. Shaleish
