Brian Jammel saw me and was very empathetic and caring. He recommended a medication and said this would immediately help with the symptoms and make me feel better. He offered a prescription card through Pfizer and said there were times insurance didn't cover the medication and to use this card if I needed it. I really appreciated this because I would not of had the funds to pay out-of-pocket for that medication. As it turned out I needed the card as my insurance did not cover it. So thank you so much for that. Brian was very caring and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left and took very good care of me.  I highly recommend this  urgent care.

Not on the phone when I made the appointment nor in the paperwork they provided when I arrived!! We were taken to an exam room, where the nurse asked if we were current on all vaccines and I said she wasn't. The nurse said the provider would not see us if she wasn't fully vaccinated. Then, she left and the front office came in to the exam room and asked us to leave. They escorted my 14 year old daughter out of the exam area!! No questions on why my daughter wasn't fully vaccinated nor care. If you want to have the opportunity to make these decisions for yourself, and don't want to have your child escorted out of the exam area for not being fully vaccinated to their liking - find another provider.

Treated me horribly when I tried to tell him the medicine routine wasn't working. He would argue with me over little things. If you see him, he is in control of everything, will discount what you say and leave you feeling like you are not cared for. He is minimalist and will not listen to your input on what medicine you take or how you take them. I have NEVER experienced this with another DR!!!

I called this convenient location (right outside of the Highland Creek/Skybrook area) for an appointment and was happy to hear they would see me on that day! After a quick wait (not even enough time to fill out the compulsory new-patient paperwork!), I was taken to a nicely furnished and SPOTLESS! screening room. I met several members of the staff to include the nurses, reception, PA and the doctor. Each member of the staff that I met was nice, friendly, and talked as if they were real people (meaning no fancy-shmancy medical babble!). I received my shots, and carried on shortly thereafter. My ol' lady had a pleasent visit, as well, but that's for her to tell! Overall, great location, friendly staff, and quick service will keep me coming back for all my medical needs. I should mention that they are part of the CMC network, and as such, have that nifty palm scanner thing that quickly loads all your CMC-related medical history! AWESOME!

No one wants to have to go to urgent care. Atrium should reiterate to staff members that they should be more respectful of their patients who are there because of a physical issue that's already concerning. On top of that she asked me a question that was not only irrelevant but highly questionable given the situation I was there for. Further, after leaving the room she returned a few minutes later asking in a very disrespectful manner why I didn't tell her I was on 4 other medications that I have never been on or haven't required since dental surgery 7 years ago. Huh? I came to UC because I had an infected cut. The NP said she thought it was a bruise. She was incorrect, but at least she was kind and respectful during our 5 minutes in contrast to the woman who took my vitals. Also, did not receive discharge instructions which resulted in me having to call back a day later to get more information. The woman who took the call thought she put me on hold, but she didn't and I overheard her talking about me like I was a simpleton. I guess compassion, caring and respect goes out the window after a few dozen patients. It's unfortunate that this is what health"care" has come to.

At each follow up visit she was told she was healing well and making great progress after her hiatal hernia surgery. When she expressed concern, she was told each issue was standard. My mother had multiple health insurance policies and the means to pay for any procedure that was ordered. Now, a week later my mother is DEAD! Yesterday 10/23/2018 Dr. Malico consented to an autopsy per Wilma because my mother showed nothing that would have indicated she would have died or I would have found her deceased. Reneging on an autopsy after my mother has had no issues that would have resulted in her death. I had to contact the patient advocate today in order to be told the decision was reversed. This is not how I would expect a physician to treat a patient after finding out their patient has passed away.
