Dr. Kangleon made a very inappropriate and intrusive comment to me today at the farmers market about how many kids i had - 3. "that's a lot of kids in a short amount of time" "6, 4, and 2! wow! that's a kid every two years - you just kept going every two years? - 2, 2, and 2." The way he said It was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. why would you make a comment to a woman like that? I'm married and decided to have my kids close in age. What business of that is yours? you don't even know the reasoning - if i lost a child between or had to have them in this period. Regardless, this isn't your business and you are beyond inappropriate to speak to a woman this way! What is wrong with you! read more

It has been too many years of hesitation to see a chiropractor for my own wellness. All I ever knew from working in the auto insurance injury and being involved in my own auto accident was the chiropractic side of personal injury claims which definitely made me have a negative stigma on chiropractic care. I can tell you that Dr. Kangleon is completely far from that! My friend had always talked to me about the amazing treatment that she and her husband has received from him and referred me to his care long before I was able to convince myself to go. I unexpectedly developed excruciating pain in my lumbar region from working long hours working from home which caused me to have trouble doing simple daily tasks like sitting down, standing up, walking, laying down comfortably and more. After a week of trying home care treatments and stretching, taking pain killers and muscle relaxers... I was only getting worse! Dr. Kangleon was able to see me immediately and after a few visits, I went from almost paralyzed and accepting my fate... to having my range of motion back better than I was pre-injury and pain free! I really love how Dr. Kangleon really takes his time and makes adjustments on every visit! Literally, no wasted time sitting on a automatic massage bed or hooked up to a TENS unit. He literally works with you every, single visit. I will continue seeing Dr. Kangleon to keep up with my health and wellness. I've already referred him to a few of my friends as well! read more

Thank you so much Doctor Greg! The entire experience was fantastic. He is not only knowledgeable but also professional and respectful. I highly recommend his services, for people like me, that sits for hours in front of a screen. read more

I highly recommend Dr. Kangleon for all of your chiropractic needs. He's knowledgable, professional and has a good bed-side manner. On my first visit, he immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. When he explained things to me and/or answered my questions, he was straight-forward and patient with me, no bull. In the past, I suffered from recurring pain and discomfort due to sciatica. My most recent bout was last year, and was the worst I'd ever experienced. With Dr. Kangleon's help, I felt complete relief within 3 visits, and haven't experienced any pain since then. read more

Dr. Kangleon is great at what he does. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent chiropractor. I just saw him for my muscle tightness and soreness I did physical therapy for over a year without much improvement. After my first session today with Dr. Kangleon, I already feel so much better. read more

I've gone to many chiropractors but no one has adjusted me as well as Dr. Kangleon. My appointments start and stop like clockwork and my back is very happy. read more

We are so happy Dr. Kangleon has decided to hang out a shingle in La Jolla! Not only is he seeing patients on Sundays at the La Jolla Farmers' Market & at his Sorrento Valley Office, but he has an office now on upper Girard. FINALLY, a chiropractor who is affordable, local, and professional. He has already made a marked difference in the health of our family. Welcome to our neighborhood! read more

After few sessions seemed more like get you in then get you out quick. Went for sciatic pain last session caused me greater pain from abrupt adjustment must of caused my disk to bulge inflammed from lack attention it seems. Just being honest caused me more pain. read more

I used to be weary of chiropractors until Dr. Greg. I tried one out before and that chiropractor did nothing for my stiff neck! So when I got whip lash I didnt think a chiropractor could help me but Dr. Greg relieved the discomfort in just a few sessions. Now I go to Dr. Greg regularly due to the intense physical exercise my body endures (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & CrossFit). He's realigned my back, neck, shoulders, rib and even helped me with a recurring injury I have in my wrist. He's very knowledgeable and I recommend him to everyone I know. read more

I've been seeing Greg for chiropractic support for about 13 years. I won't let anyone else adjust me. He has always helped me to feel better, suggested great life choices to stay pain free. I have gone to other chiropractors that give me this crazy plan I have to come daily for xyz then every few weeks to stay aligned blah blah. I didn't go for years because I felt chiropractors were full of S&*t but Greg wasn't like that. He is down to earth, friendly and gives you great advice based on what your body needs. Always feel better coming out of his office! I highly recommend him to anyone needing a chiropractor. read more

I have recently begun treatments with Dr. Kangleon, despite my fear of chiroprators. He is very patient and understanding. He has been able to zone in the direct cause of my neck pain. Dr. Kangleon has a unique ability to not only treat the immediate concern, but he continues to teach different techniques to maintain a healthier lifestyle in all areas. After referring several friends for treatment, both chronic and acute, they have thanked me stating they have fewer limitations with their mobility and cannot believe their results! I highly recommend his services. I will continue to trust Dr. Kangleon as he has restored my faith in chiropractors. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Kangleon's for a little over 2 years. My initial visit was for neck pain and stiffness, which he was able to relieve after a couple of visits. He is different from other chiropractors I have seen in that he truly puts the patient first. He listens and asks the appropriate questions to develop the best treatment plan for me rather than taking a "one size fits all" approach. Dr. Kangleon's kindness and honesty makes him stand out as a chiropractor and ensures that I will continue to choose him whenever I am in need. read more

I see him on Sunday's at the La Jolla farmers market. I never thought I would see a chiropractor at a farmers market. He is VERY good and is quite popular with lots of regulars between 10-1pm in Sunday's at La Jolla elementary school. He does A great job and I always feel good after seeing him. Pretty funny guy and loves to talk about basketball. Thanks Doctor Kangleon for all your help over the years! read more

I went for my first visit today. I moved to California last year. I went to a chiropractor for 20 years in another state. I have tried a few chiropractors here but didn't seem to be what I wanted. Dr. Kangleon did a great job today and I plan to return to him in the future. read more

Dr. Kangleon is great. Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, and an excellent chiropractor. I've been seeing him for a while due to back and neck problems. I did physical therapy for over a year without much improvement. After my first session with Dr. Kangleon, I already felt much better. My visits are now less frequent because he had gotten me feeling so much better, but I know that when things flare up, one adjustment is all I need to get back on track. I could not recommend him more highly. read more

Although my family had been treated by Dr. Kangleon for years, I was always reluctant to go. I never was much on the whole chiropractic care gig because the adjustments never seemed to last much longer than 15 minutes and my back never really improved. Then I hurt my back and decided to give him a try. Not only did Dr. Kangleon take the time to understand what was going on with my injury, but he went out of his way to explain to me why I was in pain and what need to happen before I felt better. He described the exact muscles involved and what they were doing. Not only did he adjust my back, but he provided detailed instructions on the exercises that I should do at home to supplement my care. Slowly, over the course of a couple of weeks, I started to improve dramatically. His exercises were simple, easy, and quick...yet they made a tremendous difference. I have seen about a dozen chiropractors in my life, and Dr. Kangleon is by far the most knowledgeable and skillful clinician that I have seen to date. He really takes a low-key, holistic approach to your back care. He does not pressure you to see him 'x' number of times per week, nor does he try to sell you supplements. He reminds me of the good ol' country doctor who just really cares about his patient's health. I would highly recommend Dr. Kangleon for anyone who would like to improve their health and maintain a healthy back. That is a big recommendation coming from a former critic. read more

Great chiropractor! First things first, you really have to trust your chiro, right. After all it is YOUR NECK! And from the first appointment I felt very comfortable with this guy. He is very skilled, straightforward and has a great sense of humor. Dr. Kangleon has helped me a lot over many years. I strongly recommend him- he has been excellent for working through a whole bunch of various sports over-use injuries. He gets it! read more

Okay, Let me tell you this...I have NOT yet been in to see Dr. Kangleon but will in a couple of days. I already gave him 5 stars due to these reasons and will update my rating after I have my 1st visit with him. Being as busy as we are today, I work full time, I am a single mom and there is little time in my schedule to do anything BUT can you believe Dr. Kangleon can schedule you around the weekends as well, not just Saturdays but Sundays! Wow, bless it be! The other thing is, he has such nice and understanding manners on the phone, so easy to talk to even when you have not met him yet! I know you will be as good as all your patients' ratings on here is really great and I can't wait to get these old bones of mine be in your hands to relieve me of the pain and tension I have every now and then. Thank you for recognizing our busy schedule, instead of us working our schedule in with you, you work your schedule around for us! That is good business and I hope everyone will know it and be at your door! But make room for me, I need you too! read more

He's the best Chiropractor I've ever been to! That's saying a lot since my dad is one himself...so I hope he doesn't see this review. :) Most Chiropractors try to push unnecessary routine treatment on you, but not him. He's all about getting you fixed up and on your way again as soon as possible. I had my first treatment from him yesterday, and I'm good to go again. I would highly recommend him to any friend or family member, as well as all of you. read more

I play tennis and own a cookie company (cookiesandwich.com) so my wrist and back are prone to injury. My back, arm and wrist was in so much pain I couldn't sleep. My arm would get numb and had poor circulation. It hurt so much I couldn't play tennis or workout and hated baking so I started gaining weight, losing muscle, and this made it even worse. After going to a few other chiropractors and doctors whose first question was what kind of insurance I had (they also wanted me to do a diagnostic, xrays, and all kinds of other crap plus commit to months of treatment) I was referred to Dr. Kangleon by a friend. In my first visit within 15 mins I went from almost crying from pain to almost crying from relief of pain. He somehow fixed my back!!!! These days I see him monthly and have my arm worked on. I now can play tennis, do yoga, workout again, and baking is easier. My posture has improved a lot. AMAZING Doctor and person who really cares about you, your health and finances. read more
