*Don't eat here if you'll be dining outside*…read more My family has been eating here since they opened because the food especially their aged beef is really good and always high quality. But today was honestly disappointing. We ate around 5PM with my lola, my younger sister, and my dog. I understand that pets are only allowed outside, and that's fine. I'm used to that setup. But the outdoor area today had so many flies around 20 or more, not exaggerating. We asked for candles but it didn't help much, so we transferred to the other side since it looked like there were fewer flies. While eating, I was fanning our table almost the whole time so my lola and sister could eat properly. My lola is a senior, so she couldn't really keep shooing them away. It was honestly uncomfortable even the CCTV could show how chaotic our table looked just trying to eat in peace. After eating, I spoke with the manager to share my concern. He explained that they already do regular fumigation and use traps, which I appreciate. But he didn't apologize or acknowledge the hassle of our experience. I suggested maybe raising it with the Clark management team for wider fumigation because the problem might be beyond just their area. Lastly, when I mentioned I had my dog, the manager said I should've just left my pet in the car which was disappointing to hear. It's not safe to do that, and it felt like they don't really care much about pet owners even if we're following the outdoor-only rule. The food is great, but the outdoor dining experience really needs improvement. Cleanliness and comfort are just as important as taste especially since flies can carry diseases.

I looked at the lettuce and I couldn't bring myself to eat it (looked washed but not thoroughly enough). In fact, a spider crawled out of one and make its way up my arm. I also didn't trust the water. There were definitely floaties in there. It can get really busy, so get there early. It can be hard to find parking. Staff was friendly.

Our hearts just dropped when we saw one of our favorite Korean BBQ joints demolished. A quick…read moresearch on Yelp yielded two reviews on this place; it sounded promising. Now let me point out, this is not an ayce joint; I avoid ayce joints because they usually sacrifice the quality of the food for quantity. Give me quality over quantity any day! We arrived when they opened, so it was empty, this is our pandemic strategy to reduce our exposure. They had indoor and outdoor seating options. After the guard took our temps and registered us, we went inside to enjoy the aircon. I am so glad they use charcoal, KBBQ tastes so much better. They have an excellent exhaust vent that keeps the restaurant smoke free. ORDERED Pork Hanpan SET 2 (good for 3-4) - Complimentery Banchan - my favs were the eggplant, pickled veggies, fishcake, and kimchi. I've read that they only give you one refill, I didn't verify this. Our food was more than enough for the both of us, so it didn't make a difference. - presmoked grilled herb pork belly - if you like pesto, you'll enjoy this - pork jowl meat - tasty - presmoked grilled pork belly - this was my favorite, a thick cut with less fat than most pork bellies I've seen. Meat was tender with a little bit of char and crispy edges. - marinated pork ribs - the marinade overpowered the taste of the pork. Our server skillfully grilled the meats then cut them into bite size pieces. I think next time I'll ask for an extra plate(s) for the finished meats, so they don't end up overcooked while waiting on the hot grill to be eaten (they do remove the coals once the cooking is finished). The meats had good flavor and didn't need anything extra; but I did dip them in the sesame oil because it complimented them well. We left happily stuffed and thankful that we found a decent KBBQ with reasonable prices, good food and efficient service.

We were in Clark for a weekend event and, that evening, my friends and I were really craving for…read moremeat! After asking a few locals, everyone told us to try Korea House. It was a bit confusing to get to but, we had a car and Waze to lead the way! When we arrived, we were literally he only customers left because they were about to close (it was only 9PM). But, they let us stay and we all order the same thing... Unlimited Samgyupsal! The price per person is only Php250! SCORE! We were given the usual Korean Banchan of Kimchi, Oden (fish cake), Marble Potato and Spinach served with Sesami Oil and Panjang. For me, Korean dinner is not complete without a soup or stew. So, I ordered Kimchi-jjigae (diced tofu, pork and kimchi served in hot pot) and also Bibimbap. TheBibimbap was a delicious mix of sauteed fresh vegetables and chili pepper paste topped with fried egg. I loved that it was served in a stone bowl which left the bottom part of the rice crispy and toasted. YUM! The Kimchi-jigae was filled with pork and kimchi, perfect with a bowl of rice! Samgyupsal is the Korean version of the Pinoy Liempo, fatty and slices of pork belly. As you can see from the photo, they served us huge plates of pork that night! We ended up eating 4 big plates worth. No regrets, happy tummies all around. :) If you have a pork craving in Pampanga, you must try Korea House! Tip on how to get here: it's right after Holiday Inn Clark then you enter Mimosa. The guards will help you get to the place!

So my co-workers and I had dinner here two weeks ago. "Sigol" means rural area, or the countryside…read morein Korean, maybe because the restaurant is in the province and not in the city? And "Baboy" because of the pork, of course. I really enjoyed my meal here and I ate salad for once. The vegetables are fresh, I guess. And it's really cheap too at Php 250 for each person. And you get the standard samgyeopsal fare of jap chae (Korean glass noodles), salads with vinaigrette dressing, and coleslaw, Doenjang Guk (Korean soybean paste soup/ Korean miso soup, which is probably my favorite soup, next to tom yum and sinigang--see a pattern here?). I also loved the egg thing in the black metal container, and the kimchi and chili paste, and of course strips of pork to wrap in lettuce. The pork is also unlimited, so for people with big appetites, you can't go wrong here. The buffet choices are not that awesome though. Some of it was a bit salty, and they can definitely improve the gimbap some more. But people come for the samgyeopsal, so it's not a big deal. And a nice surprise after dinner, the ice cream popsicle. It was Melona--so, yum! But my favorite Korean ice cream treat (so far) is still the Dwaeji Bar. Hey, another pig.* Anyway, I'll definitely eat here again and I'll bring my parents. They'd love it. It's a bit far from where I live though, which is a drag. * "Baboy" is the Filipino word for pig. Coincidentally, my favorite Korean ice cream treat is the Dwaeji Bar, and "dwaeji" is the Korean word for pig.
