I thought that seemed like a security issue but figured they must have done this before. There are security cameras there. Arriving after a 4 hour drive we found our room surprisingly locked. We called on the exterior office phone and were told 10 minutes someone will let you in. After waiting 30 minutes on the darkened patio an older woman wobbled over to us and barked '102!!!??!' She was assisted by a younger woman luckily, because she seemed , ahem, impaired. She was babbling on about air freshener in the office when all we wanted was to get in our room. The price of our room did not reflect the king luxury room I was hoping for. It was very clean and semi updated but furnished with what seemed like mismatchy thrift store finds. I loved the 1950s tile in the bath but not the older towels. The bed was reasonably comfortable but there was so much road noise it made sleeping difficult. The kitchenette was very cute but not necessary on our trip. Some reviews I read complain about the noise of the wall air conditioning. I was happy it was cold and was masking some of the road noise. Except for the Harleys and giant trucks passing by. That being said, the manager Mark was very sweet. He offered us a restaurant gift card for our trouble on check in. If you can get a good rate on your room and don't mind no frills, this place is very conveniently located. Walking distance to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

We heard about Beachside Village Resort and were lucky enough to secure a 1 bedroom suite. The room was perfect, staff was the best I have ever seen at a resort and they truly thought of every detail here. Everything is super convenient and the location is perfect- walking distance to the main strip. The attention to detail here did not go unnoticed. Kudos to Domenica and her staff! The staff really knows and cares about your stay on a personal level. The wifi worked great here (I was working remote and had no issues). They have free beach chairs and umbrellas, great cabanas with outlets, water and drinks in the lobby, towels, sun protection, bikes, tons of other beach activities, laundry and just anything you could need. We actually decided to extend our trip a couple days because we just did not want to leave. We changed to a 2 bedroom suite and that room was even better! They were so accommodating in extending us last minute. My only complaint which is barely a complaint would have to be the comfort of the pullout couch which we were warned about when booking so it was expected. We made it work but were much more comfortable in our 2 bed suite. Overall, I have nothing but positive things to say about this place and I can't recommend it enough. We were so impressed with everything and already can't wait to come back!

Everything is quite old but well kept for the most part. Things that aren't perfect are broken bugs nets, broken bath stopper, windows not staying open. The kitchen is super small and there is no dishwasher. Also some units are right by A1A which has heavy traffic, so make sure to take hear plugs. You may ask: why 4 stars. Well 2 reasons: the price and location. Price are low for the area, you are a block away from the beach, plenty of bars and restaurants, but also Publix. I removed one star because the WiFi isn't working. There is WiFi connection but the internet connection is either super slow or not working depending on the time of the day. This is unacceptable in 2024.

We did not have an opportunity to share the other problems that arose because we never heard from the host when contacting them about the ant infestation inside the front doorframe that was threatening to enter the home and cause a problem. The number was called on Thanksgiving however, the issue was egregious enough to need immediate attention. We contacted the emergency number given. It is now day 4, check out is in a few hours and we still have not heard from Saray, the point of emergency contact. Second problem is the showers did not drain properly in both bathrooms therefore, we were in standing water while showering. We had to turn the shower off to keep water from overflowing. The third problem is towels were provided but no face cloths or hand towels. Fourth problem is two of the three bedrooms had no bar to hang clothes in the closet; we traveled with coats and were not able to hang them. The fifth problem is the keypad to the front door stop working and remained unlocked unless someone on the inside locks/unlocks it. We checked out of the property not being able to lock it. We called upon check-out to inform the host, still no answer. Lastly, we had to request our $400 deposit which was promised to be returned in 24 hours, and it was not. We were told a lounge chair was broken, so they deducted $50. It rained in Florida during the Thanksgiving holiday. We never went outside to use the furniture.
