Wine menu lobby bar la Meridian, Dania Beach near the FLL airport

Most of the people I interacted with were very nice and friendly. My experience at the constellation cafe was stellar and my friends had fabulous dinners at Toro (I didn't eat there myself, but several people raved). I will say that the manager was not as impressive as I'd have hoped for a hotel of this caliber. There were problems with the Internet (it didn't work in the rooms at all) and the televisions were Internet based, so the in room experience was not the greatest (no TV, no iPad, no laptop). Several people had problems and he was very mean to many people (including myself). I was hoping to get some work done during my downtime, but wound up being screen free. ‍ The pool and fitness center were mildly disappointing, but sufficient to basic requirements. The lobby has a cool vibe and the room itself was nice, so, all in all. The experience wasn't bad. It just wasn't what I'd hope for from a luxury establishment.

My dad was visiting and needed a reasonable priced hotel. This one was in budget. He had a great stay at this hotel! I hung out there and the pool area was definitely a highlight--spacious, beautifully maintained, and perfect for relaxing whether you're sunbathing or taking a dip. There were plenty of lounge chairs and shady spots, and everything felt calm and inviting. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was also top-notch. From the lobby to the room to the pool, everything was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was peaceful yet welcoming. Highly recommend if you're looking for a clean, comfortable stay with a little poolside relaxing close to the airport and beach.

Great hotel in a very convenient location. Stayed here one night, pre-cruise, after flying into FLL close to midnight. The hotel is a 5 minute drive from the airport and convenient to the highway. Our cruise left from Miami and it was about a 45 minute drive from this hotel. The hotel itself is newer, modern and very well kept. The room was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and staff were always around maintaining the hotel. Although we didn't eat at it, there is a restaurant on property. If you're planning on bringing a car there is a nightly parking fee. The 12 pm checkout is great and we were even extended to 1pm when I requested a late check out. If you're looking for a nice stay for one night this is a great spot. I will definitely recommend to clients looking for a pre-cruise stay in the future.

We stayed at the Le Meridien for the night because it was a five-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, where we were flying out the following morning. I had stayed at the AC Hotel the last time we had to catch an early morning flight, but Le Meridien was situated directly on Griffin Road that is a straight shot to the airport. Being that we hadn't stayed at a Le Meridien yet, I was intrigued to check it out. Check-in was easy and effective, but I wasn't that pleased when I first arrived in front of the sliding door entrance. I wanted to drop off our luggage in the lobby before parking in the lot, which required a room key card. The front door attendants seemed at first thought I didn't have a reservation, then were trying to get me to park in another lot and then bring my luggage over, which fortunately one of them said not to worry about that and move the car a little further away from the front sliding doors and closer to the curve. It was a bit annoying and not as convenient as I would prefer, but outside of that, we managed to get a cart to put our luggage on it to bring to the room once we checked in. Overall, the hotel is nice, featuring a well-appointed bar, dining area, and library-like lounge in the lobby, a pool and cabana area in the rear, and comfortable hotel rooms. Our room was on the ninth floor of the building, where we had a corner room overlooking I-95 South, with Hollywood and Miami in the distance. The king-sized bed was fairly comfortable as was the chaise lounge. The room was stylish decorated with blue-colored walls, a nice desk area, a fridge, closet space, and a modern-styled bathroom. The bar offered some decent cocktails like the Paloma that was well made and presented. I thought the service was a little slow and it wasn't that packed at the bar. Although, it was also attending to drinks for those dining next door so that might have been a factor, and that there was only one bartender I think working the bar with a bar back. Overall, it was a good experience at Le Meridien. Very close distance to the airport and it's reasonable driving distance to downtown Fort Lauderdale and the beach as well as the Hard Rock in the other direction.

Gorgeous hotel but the restaurant (Constellation) left a lot to be desired. The french onion soup had a weird flavor (maybe over seasoned with thyme?) and the goat cheese pizza had way too much balsamic so the flavor was over-powering. The hotel room and grounds are beautiful though and staff was friendly enough. I did have to ask a lot of questions though since all they did at check-in was give me a key and tell me too enjoy my stay. Would love to see a small 24/7 convenience store area with some snacks and other convenience items but overall a pleasant stay.

I'm so happy I work nearby and was able try the restaurant here. My boss treated me to lunch and it was delicious. She mentioned the salmon is good and she was right. It was perfectly cooked and the portion was great. I will definitely comeback.

Wow!! 5 star feel from the lobby, staff & rooms all amazing! Breakfast was wonderful - convenient location to Ft Lauderdale airport & major highways. Would definitely recommend & will be our 1st choice when back in the area.

We recently stayed at Le Meridien located on Griffin Road in the heart of Dania Beach Florida. This place is fantastic, centrally located and very accommodating. The staff is is friendly and they are eager to please their customers. I highly recommend this what wonderful hotel.

I'm almost exclusively a Bonvoy girl and have stayed at many a Le Meriden. Dania Beach FLL is on par with the amenities, cleanliness, and location of other properties but, falls just shy regarding customer experience and hospitality. The front desk staff seem equally confused and bothered by basic questions surrounding guest experience. If hospitality isn't high on your list, then you'll deeply enjoy this property, especially its proximity to the beach, airport, and other main attractions as well as the on-site pool. An unexpected perk: This location seems to be a favorite for the cruise crowd because of the distance to ports (~10 min drive) so, there is almost constant access to ride-share services with a short wait.

My office is located right next door. I have many coworkers came and stayed there for business. Not to mention the numerous time I came here for lunch. This review is based on the comments from my coworkers and my personal experiences. It's advertised as a 4-star hotel. From what I hear, the room is clean but it's a bit small. The housekeeping usually does a good job of making the room clean. But the front desk personnel needs more training. For example, one day I walked over to the counter and wished to make a room reservation for my boss for the week after. The response I got was: we can not make Room reservations at the front desk. You need to go online and book it. Really? I am ready here and you can't even do that for me? I have done it in places like Motel 6 before and they are only 2-star hotels. But the food they serve in the restaurant is pretty good. One of my coworkers always order the salmon salad dish because she said it was the best-tasting salmon she had anywhere else. I tended to order different things every time I go and they are usually pretty good. The service staff was always nice and friendly (except at the check-in counter). Do I think it's worthy of 4 stars? Probably not. But it's close to the FLL airport so the location wise it's pretty good.

Nice hotel. The room was clean, the evening staff was pleasant. However, the early early morning front desk clerk was not having a good morning and didn't want to be there. He made me think and remind myself, I can have a good day or I can have a bad day... I decide

Thai hotel was very interesting based on few things. First I noticed they have advertising of travel and influencers that is outdated and illegal. I know the photographer who's photos where being shown and she told me her contact with Le Meridien hotel finished few years ago and they are not allowed to show her work anymore (hotel lobby on big TV screen). Their internet was very bad and slow, however their lounge was really nice and the girl working there was so welcoming and friendly. The same with front desk. The worst problem was when the next day we started noticing lots of bed bug bites on legs and arms. We didn't pay attention as we thought it's just mosquitoes but it got worst and worst and each morning we had more bites in the same places. After few days I googled it and looked exactly like bed bugs. We talked to the housekeeping manager who said they did an inspection but refused to send and show the "negative" report but she did offer a compensation. It seemed very strange and suspicious.

I spent one night at the Le Meridien hotel as a pre-cruise night. I didn't arrive until later in the evening and we were starving so luckily they have a free airport shuttle and a great restaurant. The hotel had been totally renovated from a Sheraton to make the Le Meridien and was beautiful. Check in was quick and my room looked great. Pretty spacious and a very comfortable bed. I did walk outside to see the pool and it was very pretty out there. It benefitted as having mature trees and was very spacious. In room features excellent espresso machine which I really liked. My son took advantage of the in hotel work out area too. They do offer paid transport to the port but I opted for Lyft. Checkout was quick and easy too. I also got breakfast at the buffet which is extra here but well worth it.

I was celebrating my Daughter's Communion and arranged what I thought would be a fantastic party for her, but I was wrong. Planning the party was no issue but executing the plan was troublesome only because of a very rude waiter/bartender who worked for the services provided. He made very rude remarks and gave a snobby attitude for no absolute reason! He made remarks speaking about my financial status which he has no place nor no knowledge upon over some misplaced chairs. He even cursed at my party planner telling her to, "Get the F#%k out" because of a mistaken declined payment. Then continuing throughout the night, My son and I laid eyes upon two suspicious African Americans who seemed to be laying their eyes on anything they believe it was easy to grab. One had a very large bag containing cannabis and crack which he was trying to sell. They were suspiciously walking around and viewing accessible cars outside in the parking lot, when I reported this issue to the one person I can find, the bartender, he came at me with a very disgusting and sarcastic attitude providing 0 help. I came polite and calm because I know he has a lot of stuff to deal with along with other people who works there so I asked if he could suggest something for me to do and he made sarcastic comments as if he wanted me to get out of his face. As a mother and a paying customer I felt disrespected, disgusted and furious at this. I had to be offered help from those who worked at the hotel to help get rid of the situation. My son seen everything from start to the end, watching their every step even having to hesitantly have the police on speed dial. I am disappointed and ashamed of what I went through having to pay for what I thought was going to be a fantastic service. This is outrageous and concerning for the next people who decide to use these services. Although every other waiter was extremely polite, calm and caring... he was snobby, rude and irritating.

I came across the banquet hall after a google search when I decided to transition from my original idea. I emailed and was able to see the venue the same day. I instantly fell in love! It had the intimate feel that I was looking for. We had to put down $1000 and set up a monthly pay payment plan with the final payment due about 3 weeks before the party. A cash deposit of $500 must be turned in by 48 hours before the party for incidentals but as long as you don't mess up anything, you will get your money back. All of the logistics are detailed in the contract that you must sign to eliminate any confusion or misunderstandings. From start to finish, Kat and I developed the perfect party for my mom. She made sure that we covered every aspect and a few days before we did a final once over for the party. Yesterday was the day of the party and everything ran so smoothly. About a week before, Kat developed a timeline for the party and it was followed to the T. EVERYONE at the party raved about the decor, the food and the venue itself. I chose this location because it was ideal since the majority of my family and friends live 15-20 minutes away. In addition, I chose to have my wedding here because this location can accommodate both a wedding ceremony as well as the reception. My wedding coordinator, Kat, was a pleasure to work with and she will try to accommodate your wants and needs. The menu options that were offered were okay. I did not like that we were not able to taste test the food that was paid for and as a result, I was very disappointed in the food that was served at my wedding (embarrassed actually). There is not an option to bring your own food. You are allowed to add food to the menu for an additional fee of $75 per pan. Although you are allowed to provide your own alcohol, you must pay a fee of $150 to do so with the limitation of 10 bottles. I had a total of $85 guests. We spent many months preparing for the design of the reception area. A few days before the wedding, I was notified by Kat that their "design team" did not approve of my design and there were changes made that I did not authorize. In the many months we spent planning, I had never met this "design team". The designs that are offered by the venue are basic, and any additional designs you want to add need to be "approved" by this "design team". I spent hundreds of dollars of my own money to provide additional decorations so that the reception area did not look plain. I booked the limo with La Vie En Rose. On the day of my wedding, I was to be picked up at 4:45pm and dropped off at 5:00pm. Unfortunately, the limo company that they work with had some last-minute changes and a staff member of the banquet hall had to pick me up. I did not get to the wedding until 5:30 which was a problem because they charge $75 for every 15 minutes pass 10:00pm (the end of the reception). With me arriving 30 minutes late, my entire wedding was pushed back, and the whole wedding was rushed. I was upset that I was being rushed since the venue was late picking me up. No one ever offered to give me an additional 30 minutes toward my wedding, even though they were late picking me up. A cash deposit of $500 must be paid 48-hours before the wedding, it will be refunded, if there are no damages made. You must also completely vacate the reception area at 10:00pm sharp. Funnily enough, the Dj will play songs that will get the guests dancing at this time. I had to personally go to the Dj booth at 9:50pm so that he could stop the music because I did not want to be charged an additional $75. One of the groomsmen threw up in the bathroom, and my father cleaned it up. They still charged $75 although we had cleaned up the mess. Last but not least, there was an altercation (nearly a physical fight) between my sister-bridesmaid and their bartending staff. Although I provided and paid for the alcohol to be served, the rude bartender (staffed by the venue) refused to service my sister-bridesmaid. My guests had to break up the altercation that was caused by their bartender. Their bartending staff was also hustling my guests for money, and my guests were coming up to me asking me: "why is hustling me for money". I was very embarrassed, and in the end the bartender was removed, but the damage had already been done. Overall, I would give La vie En Rose a 6/10. They became a way for women to get out of the house and assert their independence. They allowed women to get involved in politics and launched the women's rights movement. The Hollywood Women's Club predated the founding of the city and in 1924 they joined the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The first club members were the wives of officers in the J.W. Young Organization which was the development company building Hollywood. They met in the first clubhouse that was built on land donated by the founder of Hollywood, Joseph W. Young in 1927. Early club projects included donating hundreds of books to the first public library, holding tag sales to pay for health screenings for children, giving migrating farmers assistance with housing and welfare, getting the Miami Telephone Co. to bring the first telephone line to town, and collecting $12,000 during a war bonds drive. Today the club supports literacy programs, funds a youth scholarship, participates in the Hollywood Historical Society, supports the neighborhood crime watch, and provides financial aid to many state charities through the General Federation of Women's Clubs. The original plans for the clubhouse included an ornate Mediterranean Revival style. After the collapse of the land boom due to the Great Depression and several hurricanes the design was scaled back to a more affordable $25,000 Classical Revival style building in 1927. The building was listed as a a local historical landmark in 1985, and added to the National Register of Historic Place in 1995. Between 2012 and 2014 money was raised by the club and added to a grant to prevent the clubhouse from sinking into the sand.
