I came for the convenience, but I've been blown away by the standard of care. Unlike some places where you don't get much attention, just a bunch of "do this, now do that" -- here the focus was on me with LOTS of hands-on tailored to my needs with expertise as well as compassion. All the staff are friendly, professional and helpful too -- Kristy the other regular therapist and Julie on reception. The staff here work really hard to get you better, I've had more sessions than I care to count -- making progress, I should add! -- and I've watched them working with other patients, not just me. Everyone gets a fantastic level of input. The mood is light, the intention is serious - to get you back to full functioning again! The therapists give you so much of their own effort & energy, alongside your own, honestly I wonder how they can keep it up. But they do! Oh of course the facility is clean and bright, very well-equipped -- and prompt, friendly driver Diane is available to take you if you can't get there under your own steam. According to the surgeon and the hospital staff, the pre-surgery therapy was perfect for me has laid out by Advanced Physical Therapy. My post surgical therapy went very well. All of the attention to detail and working with my personality made it very easy to keep going. Everybody I was in contact with from reception through my therapist Cassandra they made me feel very much at ease and at home. I would very highly recommend this facility and people to anyone needing to have physical therapy. I do not normally give five stars but this place is that good!

The first thing I noted when I walked in is how clean and organized the facility is, and the friendliness of the staff at the front desk. Having never had physical therapy before, I was a little uncertain as to what to expect - but everyone I encountered made me feel welcome and put me at ease. The session itself was very thorough and the PT took time to explain everything he was doing, step-by-step and why, making sure I was comfortable and to answer any questions I had. After an intense knee surgery, I was in need of additional PT, and from my very first session, Carrie was consistently a good listener, respected my feelings, and honored my pain, progress, and situation. She always put me first and acknowledged that I knew my body best. Every session was catered and personalized to what I needed at the moment and she never defaulted to a standard routine. From icing to taping, to using a variety of PT tools, I was always impressed with her dedication to my case and her genuine desire to heal me. Carrie never seized to impress me with her knowledge as she would be quick to grab a knee model and name ligaments, tendons, and their functions to help my understanding. I really valued how she stayed on top of my health by being in constant communication with my surgeon, knee specialist, and keeping records of my images and paperwork. What I most appreciated about my over two months of being Carrie's patient, is how in tune she was with how I was feeling and what I needed. She never questioned my pain or tolerance--at every stage, she acknowledged and respected my sentiments. Carrie never dismissed what I felt about my knee (although at times it was difficult for me to explain!) and she always, always believed me. In addition, my insurance says I owe less than what I am being billed. I have brought this to Athletico's attention and provided the EOB's from my insurance and they continue to text that my statements are ready to be paid but they haven't made any changes to the statements or reached out with an explanation of the discrepancy. Based on this I feel they are trying to balance bill me which they are not allowed to do based on negotiated discounts with my insurance. If you use Athletico I would review your statements carefully before paying.

Therapist Tom was knowledgeable about my condition and very personable. Encouraged by positive results from the very first session, I was motivated to continue the exercise regimen at home. After just 4 sessions (and doing all of the prescribed exercises in between visits), I was able to walk 1+ miles or stand for several hours with a minimum of discomfort. Mandy is a wonderful physical therapist! I have been seeing Mandy on and off for the past 3 years…read morethrough my 2 pregnancies. One being a c-section and the other a v-bac. She helped me tremendously with my postpartum recovery. From C-section recovery and scar treatment/care to pelvic floor dysfunction and pain. I was also having severe back pain from nursing my 2nd son where I physically felt like I couldn't pick my children up or rock my baby and within a week I was feeling better and within 2-3 weeks the pain was gone and never came back. Mandy also helped me during my 2nd pregnancy prepartum with the aches and pains that came along with pregnancy and caring for a toddler. Along with preparing me with ideas and tips that my husband and sister could use to help alleviate some pain during contractions/labor.
