I am so unbelievably grateful for Carrie, a phenomenally knowledgeable Physical Therapist, and her attention and care for me and my knee. After an intense knee surgery, I was in need of additional PT, and from my very first session, Carrie was consistently a good listener, respected my feelings, and honored my pain, progress, and situation. She always put me first and acknowledged that I knew my body best. Every session was catered and personalized to what I needed at the moment and she never defaulted to a standard routine. From icing to taping, to using a variety of PT tools, I was always impressed with her dedication to my case and her genuine desire to heal me. Carrie never seized to impress me with her knowledge as she would be quick to grab a knee model and name ligaments, tendons, and their functions to help my understanding. I really valued how she stayed on top of my health by being in constant communication with my surgeon, knee specialist, and keeping records of my images and paperwork. What I most appreciated about my over two months of being Carrie's patient, is how in tune she was with how I was feeling and what I needed. She never questioned my pain or tolerance--at every stage, she acknowledged and respected my sentiments. Carrie never dismissed what I felt about my knee (although at times it was difficult for me to explain!) and she always, always believed me. As a patient, this level of sincerity and trust is essential. Because of this environment, my journey was not forced, but a natural progression at the right pace for me. In addition, the PT aids Michelle, Pooja, and Kate were incredible in contributing to successful sessions by being fast, eager to help, and attentive to me, staying by my side while I did exercises. They were truly compassionate professionals who consistently made sure I felt secure and supported. I had physical therapy at Athletico. Some of the treatments I feel could have been done at home by me alone because at some appointments I was told to do the stretching that had been showed to me at previous appointments and nothing new. In addition, my insurance says I owe less than what I am being billed. I have brought this to Athletico's attention and provided the EOB's from my insurance and they continue to text that my statements are ready to be paid but they haven't made any changes to the statements or reached out with an explanation of the discrepancy. Based on this I feel they are trying to balance bill me which they are not allowed to do based on negotiated discounts with my insurance. If you use Athletico I would review your statements carefully before paying. read more

Parul manages this facility, which is extremely clean and safe (during COVID). She is also working with improving my back so I can do the physical activities and sports I enjoy. Parul is extremely knowledgeable, creative and enjoyable to work with, providing me with specific treatment as well as targeted exercises. The staff is very responsive and helpful too! read more

I came to Athletico with significant, long-standing issues with both my back and hip. Several other providers had said I would have to stop playing my favorite sport and that I would need surgery in the near future. They also said that I had exhausted all the non-surgical options that might be helpful. I came to see Parul Shah without much hope, but she has changed my life. Now, several months later, I am 90% better, am regularly playing my sport again and have very little pain. She is incredibly smart, professional and kind, and she takes the time to dig deeper in terms of both diagnosis and treatments. She is a master at dry needling which is a game changer. I have received physical therapy numerous times since having bilateral total hip replacements 14 years ago and a lumbar spinal fusion 9 years ago.and Parul is THE BEST therapist I've worked with in all these years! She has helped me the most of any with her knowledge and dry needling! When I was referred here 3 months ago I was in debilitating pain and was having great difficulty walking, even with a cane. Now my pain is minimal and I am able to walk so much more easily. Everyone at this facility is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Excellent Physical Therapists. I was treated by Sam, Carrie, and Parul for back and neck problems. All were excellent. They also care about their customers - on one or two occasions Sam and Parul gave away part of their lunch break to be able to see me, since their schedule was full! highly recommended. After having pain in my cervical spine and lower back my doctor suggested starting PT right away. Since my pain amped up pretty quickly I decided to go as soon as possible. Within two days I had an appointment and was being evaluated at 7am on a Saturday. Amanda was great and spent a lot of time with me. I set up my next weeks worth of appointments and started going three times a week. Some days are much busier than others so if you want it to feel relaxing make sure to as when are good times to come in. A few times the hours and therapists were changed on me and based on previous experience at ATI this wasn't a norm for me. I prefer to stick with one person. So just ask so you get what you need out of it. Everyone there is fun and great. read more
