This doctor may be great, I couldn't tell you. In an attempt to avoid leaving the area for…read morecosmetic dermatology services, I called today to ask about the cosmetic services offered (as noted on their website) and the very rude and incredibly short receptionist said, "yeah he does cancer stuff so he can do that too." What kind of answer is that? Why would you have a person answering the phone who does not know which services are offered? Pathetic. I asked for someone else who might be able to answer my specific question and was met with the same dismissive response. If I can't even get a simple yes or no answer regarding whether or not this doctor performs a procedure that I intend to make an appointment to receive, then why would I make an appointment? The receptionist sets the tone for the level of professionalism of an office and this person is deeply lacking the skills necessary to represent a professional office. After reading the other reviews about the customer service, one dating back to 2012, I can only infer that the entire business is equally as unprofessional. Immediately after this ridiculous exchange, I called another local dermatologist's office; my question was immediately answered in detail, and I am scheduled for an appointment in a few days. Take note.

We love Dr. K! He literally saved my life. I was in his office while he was removing a melanoma…read more(the deadly kind of skin cancer) from my husband. I was wearing a skirt and he noticed a mole on my leg, told me to come back for an exam. It was positive for melanoma, and a bit more serious than my husband's. Had he not noticed it and removed it, I'd be dead. Really. We both still see dr k at least a couple of times per year - he's a good guy! I looked at some of the other reviews and am wondering why you go to the dermatologist, to chat with the office staff or to receive medical attention? I see him to deal with a life threatening cancer. He answers every question I ask, tells me what all of the medical terminology means, and always spends a lot of time with me, reviewing every mole. I've been on the end of his scalpel many times, and I trust him absolutely. Oh, I've been in the office probably at least a dozen times, I've never met a male PA, so I'm wondering if that review is even for this office (our billing is fine, they send a bill, I pay it). After all of these times, I don't know the office staff's names (shame on me, I guess), but I find it surprising that people are mentioning a receptionist of a doctor they saw once...? So - pros: caring, intelligent, good listener, solo practitioner, you go there, you see Dr Kamath. He calls me when test results come in, and explains everything really well and has been known to nag me when I get behind on my regular visits. Cons, the robo dialer that confirms your appointment mangles his name, I hate the paper gowns, has been known to nag me when I get behind on my regular visits. (Ok, the nagging is a pro, but it cab be a pain when busy - oh wait, it's a melanoma check, guess I need to stay on that) Unfortunately, during the time I've been treated for melanoma, I have lost three people I knew to this horrible cancer. Please stay out of the sun and wear a hat!

All I wanted was a refill for a prescription that Dr. Noll had already prescribed for me before,…read morebut the staff said I needed to schedule a consultation, which would have been another $200 out of pocket. I literally just saw Dr. Noll last month and she said to keep using the prescription. What a money grab!

It has taken me a really long time to write this review because I have been battling depression…read morerelated to my appearance caused by this office's treatments. I think it's important that I finally say something and warn others so no one goes through what I did. Between approx. 201-2024 I got multiple sessions of RF microneedling done here. The first handful were with the Virtue RF machine & a nurse who no longer works there. I loved the results. However, the last two treatments I received literally ruined my face and made me look 10 years older. The second to last one was with a different nurse. Looking back, I think it's possible they used a different machine during this session despite me booking what I had always done. Or the nurse didn't know what she was doing and was too aggressive. I unfortunately don't know what happened exactly, but I walked out of that session looking tired instead of refreshed, and to this day over 2 yrs later I still have an imprint of where I assume she left the machine on my skin too long. My skin never looked quite the same again. Looking at photos it's clear I lost volume at that appointment. But I was naive and thought it was in my head or a fluke. The last RFMN I did completely and permanently ruined my face. I came in around July 2024 right before I was about to move back to Southern CA, and made sure to book a different nurse than the prior treatment. When I looked at the paperwork they gave me before my treatment, I noticed it said Morpheus8. I explicitly asked if that was the same machine I had been doing all this time because it looked unfamiliar. They said yes. I thought I must have been mistaken and proceeded to have the treatment done. I walked out looking 10 years older, deflated, and droopy. People around me actually commented on it too. And since that day, I have not been able to look at myself in a mirror and feel beautiful. I had plump cheeks & beautiful volume all over my face before that treatment. It had already been impacted but after that appointment it all vanished instantly and I was left with hollow cheeks and a gaunt appearance. The nurse also went over one side twice, so that side is even worse than other. Multiple dermatologists have since confirmed it isn't in my head when I show them photos of me immediately before the treatment. I literally had to change my blush placement. It has been nearly a year and a half and i still look tired, old, and terrible. I also have orange peel textured skin now so my makeup never looks smooth. I had to get on anti depressants to manage my mental state. I regret that day SO MUCH. It's extremely hard to go from liking your reflection in the mirror to not liking it, especially when it happens so quickly. It has impacted my life so much. I am finally trying to address the volume loss with new providers since it's clear it's not going to come back naturally and I don't want to live the rest of my life feeling like this. It will cost me thousands of dollars to just look like I did before, and even then, it will never be a full improvement. The damage is irreversible but I am willing to try anything at this point to just look in the mirror and feel ok. Not great, just ok. Anyways, please be careful if you come here. Do not let them do RFMN on you. Had I known they were using a different machine on me than my prior appointments or their nurses were not equipped to perform the service, I NEVER would have gone through with my appointment that day. The only reason I did was because they said it was the same as the machine I had always been doing. I believed them and thought I was mistaken. My receipts show that wasn't true. ** note: they have said they never offered Morpheus8. I am going to try to find my receipts because maybe I'm getting the name of the different machine they used mixed up. Regardless, my experiences are real and valid, and it happened at this office. Whether it was provider error, the machine, etc. it had a HUGE impact on my life. I have no reason to make this up besides wanting to protect other women from what I went through.

A Facial Aesthetic Expert Who Truly Understands Men and Natural Results!…read more I had an exceptional experience at Xuna Aesthetics with Sundance, who I'd confidently describe as both a facial aesthetic expert and an artist. For context, I'm a 48-year-old Asian male. I've been told I have good genetics and "don't need work," but I actually think that's when you should be proactive, not after the fact. Over the past 8 months, I also lost about 20-25 pounds, which led to some crepiness in my neck and loss of elasticity in my face, along with normal expression lines (I smile a lot). My prior experience with aesthetics was minimal. I tried Dysport once years ago and that was it. I researched extensively for over a year, including well-known practices in San Francisco, and was even on a waitlist elsewhere. What ultimately led me to Xuna was their philosophy and experience working with men. Injection strategies and facial balancing for men are different than for women, and many places focus primarily on enhancing feminine features. I wanted to maintain and enhance masculine features, not soften them. Xuna clearly understands this. From booking to follow-ups to answering my random questions, communication with the team has been seamless. Truly end to end. Sundance doesn't just focus on what you come in asking for. She evaluates the face as a whole and creates a thoughtful, realistic plan. I was very clear that I didn't want plastic surgery results. I wanted to look like myself, just refreshed, and she was very upfront about what non-surgical treatments can and cannot do. I also loved their social media presence. The photos and videos are high quality without feeling overproduced or salesy. It feels real, informative, and authentic, which built trust before I ever walked in. The office itself is warm, comfortable, and meticulous. You don't feel like you're in a cold medical setting. I started my treatment plan with Dysport on December 20, 2025. The full plan includes Dysport, filler, Sofwave, and the Aerolase Reverse Protocol, with my final treatment scheduled for March 2026. I'm intentionally waiting to share before-and-after photos until everything is complete, around April 2026, so the results tell the full story. Pricing is reasonable and competitive for the level of expertise and care. That said, I'm not someone who chooses a provider because of a holiday or Black Friday special. It's my face. I care far more about experience, a natural enhanced look, and results than chasing a discount. If you want natural, thoughtful, masculine results and a provider who actually sees the whole picture, I can't recommend Xuna Aesthetics and Sundance enough.

The Xuna team is amazing to work with! They are affirming of their clients, they listen intently…read moreabout your goals, and offer options that work within your comfort/budget zone. All three are incredibly gentle and precise with their work and respectful of the body and face in front of them. I found Xuna Aesthetics initially through IG. I appreciated the authentic stories from their clients and learning about Ashley and Sundance's approach to aesthetics. As a Nurse Practitioner who works night shifts I wanted to connect with a team that had similar values: science driven evidenced based care, helping me to look my best (not "over-done"), reviewing risks/benefits of treatment options, and subtle changes that would build over time, and finally, no aggressive up-selling of products or treatments. Working with this team is the confidence boost we all deserve. To date I have completed: 1 year of tox injections with both Ashley and Sundance (you cannot go wrong seeing either of them as they have stellar technique); 3 rounds of sculptra and sofwave (aka jowels-be-gone); filler in the lips and chin; and I just did my first Aerolase Reverse session with Michael (currently looking like a cute strawberry with promises of an even better glow up in T-3 days). Xuna is dope and they keep it real. I have so much love for this practice!

A Life-Changing Experience with Dr. O'Connor…read more I have been a patient of Dr. O'Connor for many years, but I recently experienced firsthand why his specialization in back pain is so legendary. After a simple move--picking up a pair of pants--my back went out completely. I was in excruciating, incapacitating pain. While sitting offered some relief, the transition to standing was unbearable; it felt like my whole back was lighting up. I reached out to Dr. O'Connor, and he got me in quickly. Using his years of experience and specialized tools, he worked on my back--bending, twisting, and carefully adjusting my spine. After about an hour of his targeted treatment, the pain was simply gone. It was absolutely amazing. This isn't the first time he's saved me, but this lower back incident was the most severe. If you are suffering, you don't need to rely on painkillers or live in misery. Dr. O'Connor has a plan for relief. He is a true blessing, and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

He gave explained everything in detail and really listened to me. I'll just say that my left sinus has felt closed up and just wrong for years. Other doctors would say allergies and just flush it while Dr. O'Connor gave me a way to flush my nose that no other doctor would have done. Along with antibiotics my left sinus cavity hasn't felt this great in years. I feel normal again. He is also treating my high blood pressure, cholesterol and figured out that I have a certain type of anxiety that can be lessened with medication to help with lowering my stress and actually sleep better. I have never had a Doctor like this. Most doctors seem to follow what all the other doctors are doing. Dr. O'Connor actually thinks for himself.
