Fitting was super fast, but thorough. Picked up same week on Friday and dresses were perfection. Used one of those powder pumps to get the length exactly as it should be...grazing the floor. Hems are beautifully done, everything looks like I bought it this way and happened to fit perfectly. Very pleased with results. After living in nyc for the last decade it starts to get into your head that the city does things better, like tailoring (there's just more options and opportunity to find excellent service), so after moving back to PA was nervous to find a tailor to do the work at the level I was accustomed to, but all expectations were met and exceeded. My wife helped me pick out some decent material at Joann's Fabric (50% off) and I left the footrest and material with Joe and waited for the finished product. Several weeks later, my footrest was ready for pickup. It looks phenomenal now (see pics). As for clothing, I later took a bunch of dress shirts for alterations, as well as a suit jacket. Everything looks great! Judging by the number of customers who came and went each time I have gone there, Joe's skills are in demand. The first time we walked in the girl working at the counter was friendly and we told her EXACTLY what was needed to be stitched. We showed her the patches and it was very self explanatory. She said that it was no problem and she would have this done by Friday (this was Monday.) We went back on Friday and the shirts were not done. There was a different girl at the front desk and she said the shirts would need another two weeks!!!! That is insane. We reluctantly agreed and came back in two weeks. When she gave us the shirts, the logos were completely upside down.... The woman said she apologizes and would get them fixed. We explained again exactly how it was supposed to go on each side of the arm. Fast forward two days. My husband got a call and said that it was ready to be picked. When he arrived the patches were ALL THE WAY stitched up towards his neck RIGHT along the collar. These are work patches so these were very important and time sensitive. Unbelievable. The incompetence of this place speaks volumes. Everyone in that place had not a clue of what was going on. My husband, regardless of which, paid for the shirts instead of asking them to repair them again. They charged $30 which is a reasonable price, but, the final results were. It up to par. Rather than asking them to repair the shirts for a third time, we doubted the results would be any better. This place cannot be trusted. If you care about your clothing, DO NOT GO HERE.

One broken button, which they fixed. The second time I bought in six shirts including one brand new just out of the package I had to return two for a poor job in pressing. The third shirt, the new one, had a stain on the cuff which was not there when I brought it in. They claimed they couldn't have done it and were very rude about it "what do you think.. we eat in the back". Well fine. 250 work days a year. Clean shirt each day. 3 bucks a shirt. Plus suits. I'll take my $1K of annual business someplace else and recommend you consider doing the same.

This place also has a bathroom, snack and soda machine. The Bad: dirty place. most of the dirt is from the filthy customers, so not to make this knock on this business - though they should have someone come out and sweep every so often. The major issue and this is what my very first review stated: The spiders and webs are all over the place and you have to be careful that they do not land in your laundry basket. The outside overhang used to be much worse than it is now though it is still bad. Inside has gotten worse though. Cleaning people need to take a long handle duster and wipe clean the walls, ceiling, ceiling fans, vents. Need to do this every night. Oh, and the use of PayRange sometimes is a hit or miss. Too many times I have to email PayRange about an issue with the loading of funds or double charging on a machine. To PayRange's credit they are very quick to respond and clear the issue.
