I'm partial to the breakfast items, such as the yogurt with toasted muesli, honey, and raisins. The second time I came on a Sunday afternoon, and 70% of their cakes were already sold out. They still had the seasonal Winterland Mille Crepe at least, so I ordered that one (although it was also sold out by the time we left). The Winterland has Oreo sprinkles on top and three layers of cream: Jasmine tea, taro, and hazelnut. The crepe had a lovely light and airy texture. I really enjoyed it! Personally, I'm not sure if the long wait and the fact that things are constantly sold out is worth it, especially since their matcha latte was average at best. My tip: If you get a cake, I would opt for unsweetened matcha.

Among the few excellent coffee places like Man Met Bril, Lokaal Coffee and Noc Noc, Evermore stands out in my opinion. Evermore is run by a family with their regular day job and decided to start this company because of their passion for good coffee, tea and chocolate. The business is not primarily driven by money, but their passion and knowledge. This separates the company from the rest of the other coffee roasters and houses in Rotterdam. I'm not saying that the others aren't good. They are. But Evermore gives a slight different vibe. It is chill, it is premium, it is cozy, and it is quality. It got practically everything that makes an excellent coffee/tea house. I can list so many great things about this place but I think they really need to be discovered by each of the guests themselves. If you don't know how to differentiate between premium tea or coffee from the standards, ask them. The family is so passionate to share what they know and educate the community what they so proudly serve. By the way, check their Japanese tea collections. They're excellent. A must visit for tea and coffee lovers.

My plate was charcuterie style, with a mixture of things presented on a cutting board. I am not a big fan of bread in general so I should've asked to sub for something else. The portion was closer to the smaller side, but enough for me. Everything was fresh but quite bland. The bacon was too crispy for my liking and the bread wasn't toasted. I did enjoy my coffee and ended up coming back another day to grab one to go. I will give this place another shot when I am back in Rotterdam.
