We were charged $274 for a safety test and given a long list of recommended repairs--including wiper blades, rubber around the trunk, and even a scratch on the windshield, which they insisted required a full windshield replacement. After completing the repairs, we returned only to be told that the safety certificate had expired after 10 days. Since we were one day over, we had to pay again. The price was non-negotiable. They explained that this was due to recent changes in government regulations and that not many places are equipped to perform the updated safety test. That's when we went to Ballymote Auto Service, where the safety was completed professionally, with excellent service--and for $160. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we won't be going back to The Mufflerman.

When rejected one of the services the manager got upset from me and turned his face. they changed one of the parts after the other guy was pushing to change it and he said it is faulty and need to change it will save you gas, they changed it but couldn't install back, I was waiting for the manager to help but he came to help after 15 minutes because he served other car who came after me. They tried to convince me to change the transmission oil and they said it is in bad situation, You know what, I got it changed recently before going to Mr. Lube. They lift marks and figure prints on my hood, so after that I went to clean my car. BE CAREFUL This shop will try to oversell you and they cheat to make money. I will ever never go back to them.

Days later, I was driving on the 401 and my skid plate started to drag. As I pulled over, I noticed pools of oil escaping. I had to get my car towed off the highway, back to London. A different mechanic notified me that 7 screwed were missing on my skid plate and he had to re-install it properly. In addition, the air filter was not properly installed when I had it changed at jiffy lube. This significant malpractice could have caused a major car accident or the destruction of my engine. I was not notified that driving my vehicle could compromise my safety and was not told that it was unsafe to drive, even though they claimed to have known that the skid plate was basically just hanging there. I am shocked that they did not offer any sort of resolution if they were aware that my skid plate could cause an accident, oil loss and engine destruction. Obviously if I were notified, I wouldn't have chosen to just leave without the issue resolved. I had to pay 600 dollars to get it properly fixed at a different mechanic and although they gave me my money for the oil, they did not fix or give me my money back for the improperly installed air filter. After paying money out of my own pockets (as a student), for this malpractice, I again must get the air filter reinstalled by a different mechanic. They just let me leave without the issue resolved. I was properly informed of the malpractices by a different location or else I wouldn't have known. I feel completely taken advantage of and I don't recommend their services. They are more concerned with covering up their malpractices than taking responsibility for compromising their customer's safety. I would never trust them to touch my car ever again.

I called around to a few places in London that did windshield repair. Some people on the phone could not give me a price off the bat, others would, but would ask me if I was going through insurance and leave me in the dark as to what that all meant and the implications of it. When I called Autostrata, the experience over the phone was totally different. I explained that this was my first incident and I've never had to do anything like this before. She clearly explained how the insurance worked and described to me the process. While it would cost me a bit more out of pocket to get my windshield fixed here, I was willing to pay more due to the service level I was receiving and the warrantees included. When I arrived at the garage, I was driven to my house for the afternoon by their driver and was picked up a few hours later when the job was complete. They explained to me the instructions to ensure the window settled properly and processed the claim directly with my insurance company. i was expecting a very frustrating process, luckily this was not the case with Autostrada and I would choose them again if I need to! Their staff is kind, helpful, and they do an amazing job!
