Super friendly ladies working and whimsical yet comfortable decor and dining areas inside. Huge pieces of moist cake, shakes, funnel cakes, fried Oreos, and cupcakes galore. The $7 funnel cake was tasty and took about 10 minutes. The red velvet cake was moist and delicious. It wasn't stale at all and was large and not too frosted either. The banana cupcake was moist and peanut buttercream super rich on top but expensive for $3. There should be a lower priced cupcake for those who don't want it filled or topped with anything else. The banana pudding was amazing! Super fresh and flavorful.

We were in uptown and decided to have some dessert. We came across this cute little spot and decided to try their fried Oreos. They were so fluffy and yummy. It comes paired with some vanilla ice cream which gives it a refreshing touch. We will be revisiting to try their shakes!!!

I've had good avocado toast in Washington DC the state of New Jersey here in Cleveland in California and I have never tasted avocado toast so good. The bread was it was toasted, but it was still warm and soft. The avocado was perfectly blended, but the cheesy eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon it was crispy and still had a good bite to it. It was so good. Now let's get into this Matcha. I got the lavender Matcha when I say it was sweet, but you could still taste the earthiness of the Matcha. I was just overwhelmed with how delicious everything that I tried at the bakery was. Last but at least the cookies I completely understand how the Sugar Cookie has the word famous in it when you bite into this delicious cookie, you taste the butter, the sweetness, and it has like a good crunch to it, but it's soft as well. This is incredible. But the start of the show was this buttery, delicious, soft, perfectly balanced, chocolate chip cookie. First of all, I don't even prefer chocolate chip cookies, but this cookie was baked to perfection. You can taste the premium chocolate that was used the butter you can taste the hint of salt. It is a perfect cookie.. So how did I end up in this wonderful bakery well I signed up For too good to go which lets customers purchase bags of food produce, etc. from local businesses so that we don't contribute to food waste so I signed up to get a surprise bakery bag. That's how I got the chocolate chip cookies and the sugar cookies but now I'm gonna be a repeat customer because the overall experience was top-tier great customer service. I watched this woman be kind to everyone that came into the door and she made me feel like I was a part of her own experience. This was great and I'm telling everyone about it and I've definitely going back.

My mom wanted a brownie and absolutely loved it. It was so soft and flavorful. Once I heard the cookie of the month was chocolate peanut butter, I knew I had to have it. I'm obsessed with the perfect flavor profile known as chocolate peanut butter. Wow! That cookie was also perfection. It was soft, super chocolatey and had a nice big ribbon of creamy peanut butter in the middle. My husband and I loved it. When we come back to Cleveland for my mom's heart surgery next month, we have to come back and try some different items. I also want to mention that the owner and woman running the register were so nice and welcoming.

I arrived at the gelato shop around 10pm and there were about 5 other people in line. This is a little ice-cream shop that serves a variety of gelato flavours whose owner is originally from a small town close to Venice, Italy. The owner was working in the shop when I arrived and he is a sweet old man who I briefly spoke to. I forgot his name, my mistake (maybe Charles?). GELATO FLAVOURS -- There are many to choose from. After reviewing all the flavour offerings, I decided to get the Salted Caramel and Lemon Custard flavours. Both favours really complimented each other - the sweetness of the caramel coupled with the citrusy lemon custard - just perfecto. The gelato was very rich and creamy. It tastes so much better than traditional ice-cream. AMBIANCE -- The ambiance inside is nice with a couple of chairs/tables to sit on plus some wall decorations. I love the red seating and the red motorcycle that sits by one of the front windows. I'm hardly on the east side of Cleveland but I can't wait to visit again. I love supporting small local businesses like Rosso Gelato. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 16/150 total reviews in 2024 - 666 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 16 March 2024

I love to get Cherry Garcia from the grocery store and dig in while binge watching my favorite shows. So, I visited to taste Cherry Garcia flavor in a cone. ICE CREAM: My order included chocolate dipped cone with Marshmallow Sky scoop and Cherry Garcia scoop. As another customer in line gasped - "huge cone!" and also very sweet. Ice cream is tasty but scoops are super small. The ice cream came with a spoon which was very convenient to eat. The price was $2.29 for waffle dip cone and $6.69 for two small scoops. They didn't even fill in the top or the bottom of the cone. Worth it? Absolutely not! Too expensive! Other things you can find at this ice cream shop are sundaes, shakes, cookie dough, ice cream cakes, to go ice cream containers (including vegan flavors). There's funky merch like "I like to spoon" tees. Most customers took their orders to go or picked up on behalf of someone else. Few lingered on the patio. The patio has a lot of space and tables. SERVICE: The service is very pleasant, attentive, and quick. The girls working here go out of their way to help customers! Not crowded and no line which was a huge plus. LOCATION: In close proximity to John Carroll, this ice cream shop has a funky cow mural with CLE skyline and university. You can see the university right from the patio and walk from it to the ship. There's a large ice cream guitar (photo op). You'll find metal chairs/tables against the sky blue walls. It's a fun location to linger. Most visitors seemed to be the students and their parents. If you're looking to grab a dinner while in the area, there are a few places in the same plaza - pizza place and sandwich shop. No need to stress about the parking - the shopping plaza has plenty! This location is a bit hard to turn into due to round about, so be attentive! I'll stop at Ben & Jerry once in a while for a treat. I found it to be pricey/scoop size not comparable to other local ice cream shops. Nonetheless, it's a fun experience that I'd recommend to the local students and all!

I tried their mango dole whip, before I settled on getting a flavor fave of mine - strawberry and vanilla swirl in a medium in a waffle cone. My soft serve was yummy and so refreshing! The medium size was huge! Next time, I'll get a small. I wish they would have provided me with more than ONE napkin! The ice cream started dripping immediately and I ended up so gross and sticky. I also wonder why cones of any kind cost extra. Normally, cake cones are free! And it is wild a waffle cone costs an extra $1.50! After years of living nearby Dairy King, I am happy I finally stopped by. Next time, I'll get my soft serve or dole whip in a cup and ask for extra napkins!

The line moved pretty quickly and they accept both cash and card. They serve vanilla, chocolate, and swirl soft serve, along with about 10-12 Pierre's ice cream flavors. They also have various flavored dole whips, hot dogs, pretzels, and chips. I got the banana parfait, which had vanilla wafers, real bananas, vanilla soft serve, caramel drizzle, and whipper cream. I subbed the caramel drizzle for a little strawberry sauce, however they layered the strawberry and put a little too on the parfait, it ended up being more like a strawberry sundae with bananas. It was still delicious and definitely satisfied that craving for a good soft serve. Places like this are dangerous, I'll be tempted to return often. Prices were a little hefty with my parfait and my cousin's brownie sundae being $6.95 each.
