Dr smith is always incredible. She sees both are kids at once as their bdays are close together…read more She follows the parents lead and I really appreciate that she typically recommends more natural options before jumping into prescriptions whenever appropriate. We first came to her after moving from out of state and our daughter has a very rare genetic condition. We had experienced medical neglect at a previous practice due to the providers pride and pretending to be an expert yet giving us conflicting information every visit (which were frequent). The first time I met doctor smith, she admitted to not knowing much about the condition, asked for me to share my knowledge after acknowledging that I likely knew a lot by that point as it was my child and our experiences. I was very appreciative of this!! She then referred us to experts to check specific things and communicated very well with said experts. She's a true advocate for her young patients and listens to parents so well. Also worth nothing that if you choose to follow traditional schedules or delay shots/opt out, this is a very supportive office regardless of choice.

I chose this practice because of the strong reputation of Dr. Stoltzfus. Unfortunately, Dr…read more Stoltzfus is now only part-time so your child must see other doctors in the practice. On two occasions, we had a bad experience with Dr. Castallan. He did follow up on the phone after my one week old's appt but then forgot about the follow up appointment he scheduled and left the practice right as we were pulling in 15 minutes early. We sat in the waiting area while the front desk called him to ask him if he was planning to return to see his patient that he scheduled. He didn't return and asked them to schedule us see another doctor instead because he forgot about our appt. Luckily we were able to see Dr. Stoltzful that day who is wonderful. Recently, he refused to see my child when we arrived 10 min late to an appt. The front desk checked us in and noted on file that we completed check in BEFORE the 15 min late policy but he still refused to see us. I understand issues with being late but when I asked to speak with someone because we clearly were checked in before their 15 min late posted policy, Dr. Castellan was the person to actually come out and speak with me. I'm disappointed that he chose to not see my child but still used that time to argue with me about needing to arrive early for appointments and had no answer to my posted policy question or to my question about why it was ok to make us wait in the reception area for over 20 minutes the other two times we did arrive early for appointments within the past two weeks. I think his priorities are misaligned with a truly caring pediatrician's priorities and as a result, we switched practices. The front staff here is wonderful though and super helpful but they're not doctors so we needed to switch to a more caring establishment.

Hmm. Would've gave zero stars & that's telling a lot. Don't come here. Especially at this location,…read moreit's not worth the time & there's better places to visit. Some of those medical workers are unprofessional & are enabled to disrespect patients, especially minority ones. One of the male workers was giving dirty looks to random patients in the waiting room. I suspect due to racial prejudice & also sexism, he didn't do it to the non-minority patients in that place. Another worker was performing blood-work on a patient & she was behaving in a passive-aggressive demeanor from the get-go. She was talking in a catty, rude manner & tone the entire time. Then her strange, unstable behavior escalated towards the patient who was actually calm & civil during the entire encounter, unlike her. Assumed her actions was also because of racial-prejudice, she acted normal & acted polite with the non-minority patients, yet was completely the opposite towards the patients who didn't look Caucasian. I guess both of those workers forgot who's land they're on. Anyways she kept roughly & loudly throwing items in the trash bin, nearby her. While she was taking the patient's blood, she jabbed the needle into the patient's arm aggressively in a stabbing motion. Was a very belligerent gesture & just inconsiderate. I guess she thought she was going to try to "intimidate" the patient for having the "audacity" to seek care & get her blood-work done. I've studied in healthcare & that's not how taking bloodwork is supposed to be performed. It's supposed to be done in a careful, calm demeanor & set-up. I'm aware she knew that too, I'm not dumb & can't imagine what else she's done to other patients in secret. If this medical practice's workers can't hold back their awkward & malicious, weird little compulsions to mistreat, harm/assault random patients for no reason, then they need to find somewhere else to work. Nobody has to deal with that unacceptable behavior because they're minority, especially as a woman of color. Not to mention & after that all happened, I've had two other people tell me that some of the medical rooms are dirty, some of them have dirty floors & one of the rooms had a dirty floor with some food wrappers on the floor, near the bed. That's disgusting & can't be trusted to be treated properly if I got to worry about catching a infection from bacteria & filth.

I had the opportunity to see Dr. Paul Lin for his expert opinion and care, and I couldn't be more…read moresatisfied with the experience. I had heard wonderful things--not only about his skill as an orthopedic surgeon, but also about his compassion toward patients--and I found both to be absolutely true. What compelled me to write this review was the surprise I felt after reading some of the negative reviews online. They were completely inconsistent with my own experience. Dr. Lin took the time to truly listen to my concerns, explained everything in detail, and showed genuine care and professionalism throughout my visit. The office staff was equally welcoming and efficient, and the entire process--from check-in to follow-up--was smooth and well-coordinated. I don't typically write reviews, but in this case, I felt it was important to share my experience. If you're considering Dr. Lin for orthopedic care, I encourage you to see for yourself the level of quality and compassion he brings to his practice. He absolutely deserves a 5-star rating in my book--and I say that having consulted with more than five orthopedic surgeons for expert opinions.
