Yesterday, I went to the unit to visit (as I was previously invited to do) and to see if I could get a medical-grade suction bulb. My baby has severe GERD and a high risk of aspiration--she chokes until her eyes are red and milk shoots from her nose. Having the right equipment for her safety is not something to play with. The treatment I received from Nurses HELEN and JESSICA was unprofessional and retaliatory. I have previously reported these nurses for their conduct during my baby's stay. When I arrived, Helen brushed me off and intentionally sent Jessica to the door to confront me. Jessica looked me in the face and said, 'I know who you are.' She then stood there acting as if the supplies were her personal property, condescendingly stating she would give me one 'this time only' and 'reminded' me that they don't provide these once a baby has left. It is deeply disappointing that staff would use a medical necessity to power-trip and settle a personal grudge. To treat a mother this way when she is simply trying to ensure her high-risk baby can breathe safely is unacceptable. ARMC management needs to address the behavior of Helen and Jessica immediately. I will not be returning to this unit to visit again. Their lucky My baby has to come to the clinic or i wouldn't step foot in this Hospital. Unless it was to see my OB. Sorry Dr. R & Dr. B but your staff that represent that unit need to be better VETTED

But seeing the way the staff at Reche Canyon Rehabilitation Center cared for her completely changed my mind. I cannot say enough good things about Reche Canyon Rehabilitation Center. The nursing staff were incredibly patient, helpful, and genuinely loving toward my mother. They treated her like a queen from day one. They truly go out of their way to make the facility feel as homey and comforting as possible, even though it is still a nursing facility. You can tell the staff actually care, not just about doing their jobs, but about the people they are caring for. What meant the most to our family was how the nurses and staff came to give my mother hugs when she was discharged. They treated her like family, not just a patient. That speaks volumes about the hearts of the people who work there. My mother stayed for about a month, and throughout her entire stay, we felt confident she was in good hands. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place, and I am truly grateful for the care they gave my mother. Highly recommend.

You could hear other people crying out for help. The nurses dont acknowledge your presence and literally told us that they would just let him walk out without doing anything. I took some photos and they dont even do them justice of how dirty this facility was. This place is a disgrace. No care. No empathy. Please shut this place down.

I know he is very conscientious and approaches his medicine scientifically and perhaps that is why he may have less "bedside manner," since he focuses on the history and physical complaints of each patient, reviewing the files carefully and is not so chatty. Sometimes the office is a bit crowded, but usually I am in and out of there within an hour total. I like this place; he and his assistant, Margie, know what they're doing and I'd rather have that than a chatty GP.

I was pleasantly surprised that I got an appointment rather quickly but when I got there, I had to wait quite awhile to get in a room then waited awhile there as well. When someone finally came in, it was a PA by the name of Kenrick Bourne - he was SO rude & uncaring. He never introduced himself (I was a 1st time patient) & just looked down at his note pad the whole time he asked me questions about what my visit was for. His cold, uncaring interaction was such a shock to me! When I was leaving I asked to speak with the office manager, Esperanza Franco, & she refused to come up to speak with me! I still can't believe how I was treated here & want people to know about this experience. I needed medical help & empathy - I did NOT receive it here & will be choosing another office to go to in the future. They have a Patient's Bill of Rights hanging on the wall yet they do not abide by it!

Going through cancer treatment is incredibly difficult, but the team here made all the difference. Every nurse we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. They didn't just treat her--they cared about her as a person and supported our whole family through such a hard time. The doctors were outstanding as well. A very special thank you to her oncologist, Dr. Kenni. He was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also patient, reassuring, and truly compassionate. He took the time to explain everything and made sure we always felt informed and supported. The level of care we experienced here was exceptional. We are so grateful to everyone at Loma Linda for the compassion and dedication they showed during such an important time in our lives.
