We came here for dinner during our last night in Cappadocia. From the outside, the entrance may…read morelook unassuming, but once you step inside, you're welcomed into a charming family-owned cave restaurant that feels both intimate and unique. They have both table and traditional floor seatings, and we opted to settle onto the cozy cushions on the ground.
We ordered the medium mezze plate, chicken and rice, and grape juice. Every mezze was delicious, but my favorites have to be the eggplant and the spicy pepper dip. As for the chicken and rice, the chicken was melt-in-your mouth tender, but what surprised me the most was the rice. Although it may look like your standard rice, it must have been cooked in a rich chicken broth for it was incredibly savory!
Overall, this was a unique dining experience. It was a great way to end our trip to Goreme.
