Our food was served in mere minutes after placing our orders. The ingredients were fresh, veggies crunchy, and meats not overcooked. I would have preferred the meats to have been velveted though to retain moisture and tenderize the texture. The food was tasty but not quite as flavorful as some other restaurants I've tried. There was no lunch menu, just an all day selection. Prices seemed quite reasonable though the portions were moderately sized as well. The bowl of rice with each entree was definitely needed for a satisfying meal. Too bad there was no lunch combo offered with soup and spring roll. The atmosphere was a very comfortable casual one and appeared quite clean. It had an open kitchen so you can hear your food being prepared and even take a peek if you were so inclined. Worth a try and a revisit since it's fairly close by for us.

We added shrimp to the basil rolls. The pieces weren't wrapped tightly so the lettuce (not basil) was spilling out of them. The peanut sauce wasn't like I've had anywhere else- it was watery with peanuts floating on top. My husband's Pad Woon Sen had great flavor but the thin rice noodles were overcooked and mushy. My Pad See U was the best I've had in years! The chicken & veggies were cooked to perfection & the flavor spot on. The noodles were overcooked also. Hopefully the chef can adjust that for future patrons. My daughter enjoyed her Sweet & Sour Chicken. It looked soupy but came with rice to sop up the sauce. Yum!

I got the Basil Chicken that was loaded with zucchini vegetables but hardly any chicken, was extremely salty, and lacked basil flavor. I had it with fried rice that was moist and clumpy and no sense of wok hey. My wife got the House Special Pad Thai. Noodles were hard and chewey, shrimp were small cocktail shrimp and sparse, and the pork tasted old. It goes without saying that we don't recommend it and don't plan on going back.

The menu was mostly stuff I love, so maybe I'm biased. I asked for a recommendation during ordering and decided to try the golden milk tea with boba and the shoyu ramen dish. I thought the prices were super fair, especially with the large portions. The wait time for the meal was short. I arrived right before closing time, too. I think it is a new establishment and was impressed by how smoothly everything was flowing. There is a nice amount of indoor seating and parking here, I felt at home when I walked in, which is a nice feeling! The chairs and tables were tidy and comfortable. My ramen was yummy. The portion was large. The protein was DELICIOUS, succulent, crispy, and I thought it tasted so good with the spicy sauce served on the side. My milk tea with boba was superb. I liked the soft feel container, too. I don't like the plastic film lids and prefer these cups. I would certainly order this again, but will branch out and try more menu items this month.

I especially like the noodle salad, it's cold with steak cooked to your liking. Also, the garden shrimp quesadilla is delicious, it comes with a side and I always get the yucca. My husband enjoys the All American Bowl. The homemade guacamole to start is a must. Fresh, delicious and plentiful. Don't wait to go shopping at the outlet mall to eat at Taqueria Tsunami, make a special trip there, you won't be disappointed. 5 stars

"No rules. Don't be afraid to do whatever you want. Cooking doesn't have to have rules." --…read moreMasaharu Morimoto Taqueria Taunami definitely bends the rules with its Latin and Asian fusion cuisine. Starting with the appetizers, you can go from a queso, guac and salsa trio to Edamame or Korean fried cauliflower, or some great fusion items such as Asian Nachos or my favorite, Aviocado Cilantro Egg Rolls. The salads and bowls lean into the concept as well, offering unique healthy and hearty options . The fun continues with the tacos. You can choose the Tsunami Trio, two tacos plus a side or The Quatto, three tacos and a side. The taco menu is creative and there's definitely something for everyone, but for those sophisticated beer drinking, cigar smoking vegetarians like myself, there are three great options: The Tofu Taco: Marinated and grilled tofu, topped with lettuce, soy sesame vinaigrette, shiitake mushrooms, roasted poblano and corn, andsesame seeds. The Garden Taco: Cilantro hummus, grilled peppers, onions, shiitake mushrooms, lettuce and topped withsoy sesame vinaigrette and sesame seeds. The Korean Fried Cauliflower Taco: Fried Cauliflower,Korean pepper sauce, cabbage, guacamole, chipotle sour cream, sesame seeds, cilantro. Taqueria Tsunami has a full bar with a good selection of beers and a clever cocktail list. Service is always great, and being located in the outlet mall, it's a great stop in your shopping, and the outdoor seating gives you a prime opportunity for some good people watching on a nice day.
