I was craving some sort of Asian food towards the last leg of my European vacation. I thought sushi…read morewould be a good idea. So, I booked a table at Yooji's but I ended up getting a spot in front of the conveyor belt. There's a Yooji's close to the hotel I was staying at but for some reason this particular location was highly recommended. Service was great. I grabbed plates and plates of sushi from the conveyor belt. Different pricing depending on the plate color. Each plate has a few pieces of sushi (2-4). The table in front of you will tell you the pricing as well as description of each plate when you place the plate on the circle on your right. The quality of fish was alright. Conveyor belt sushi is not meant to be top-quality sushi. I didn't like 2 things I tried: chicken teriyaki nigiri (chicken was dry and the texture was weird), and salmon sushi wrapped in rice paper with cilantro (it was like a Vietnamese sushi. Do you want pho sushi? I didn't finish it). The current conversion rate is 1USD = 1CHF. So with my 6.5 plates of food and a jasmine tea, it was 85+ CHF for 1 person. That's like the price of an omakase tasting menu but it's conveyor belt sushi! It's not a bad place, it's just not worth it. Skip!

My then-boyfriend took me to this place for dinner one night. After we arrived on his Vespa, he…read moreactually took me by the hand to cross the street--contrary to his normal behavior--but he said he did it because he was concerned that I didn't feel secure. So that was sweet of him, but then I guess yes, this restaurant is located in a bit of a "shady" neighborhood. The restaurant looked hip and modern, and I was excited at the touch-screens that popped up at the revolving sushi belt for taking our drink orders. Totally awesome! The sushi was nice--nothing extraordinary--but not terrible, either. I would say good quality sushi at typical Zürich prices.

Uh-oh, I hate to do this, but I have to update my review and drop it down to 3 stars after visiting…read moreagain last Saturday. My first visit to this place was quite pleasant, and after telling an American friend about it, he was all excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, my experience the second time paled in comparison to the first. We came late last Saturday (around 8:30 pm), and the restaurant was about half empty. That was nice, so it wasn't overcrowded. However, the food didn't seem to turn over quite as much, so the buffet items were not as fresh and tasty. Some of the fried stuff were hard and definitely looked like they had been sitting in the warming trays for a while. The selection was quite sparse, and the sushi options were almost nil. I felt kind of bad for my friend, but I did warn him in advance not to get overly excited. I would say the food was okay, but not spectacular. And they raised the prices on the weekend special. It's now offered on both Saturday and Sunday at CHF 23.90 per person.

This new Peking Garden just opened and they got an offer on Wednesday until the 31 of March:…read more For ladies all you can eat Sushi and warm dishes for 19.9 (For guys 28.8) instead of 38.8. So we sat down in a table of four next to the conveyor belt where the food strolls in and you can take what you want. They don't have tables for two people, so we shared the table with two other girls, which was ok for us, but might be a bit weird for some people. The Sushi came rolling in, but we did have to wait for more to come. They did have other warm Chinese dishes, but we really wanted sushi or California rolls. The staff is still in training, but they really are trying their best and the manager is also very attentive and was very helpful when we asked her to send out more sushi or something sweet. I would recommend to sit in the first two tables next to the food belt. That way you get it faster from the kitchen. The food was really good. Of course the dishes are all westernised I think and I also think they wrote wrong the name of Amaki and Marki...think correct should be Temaki and Maki, but since I'm not japanese I didn't want to tell them about it...who knows maybe in china they say it like this... The only thing I thought was a bit funny, was that the girls next to us asked for some cold tea (or maybe something else), but got it warm instead. They told the waiter to change it, but he really insisted they tried it first, saying it was better hot. In the end they did, but I think he just wanted them to see what was on the bottom of the special little cups he brought...once you put the warm liquid in them, an image of a naked guy appeared at the bottom ;P funny yes, but a bit out of place for me...although the guys in the picture did look hot!
