Finally made it here after reading about it on Ron Orp. It's a small place that is quite busy, so you should definitely make reservations. I would say this is authentic Japanese noodle soup, but at Zürich prices. Dinner for 2 was 80 CHF. And they actually serve Calpice, so this place is definitely authentic! ^.^

Why is this egg yolk so cooked?

I've eaten ramen in so many different restaurants in different countries, and based on my experiences, Ikoo is subpar... The broth for the ramen was tasteless, and my boyfriend's katsu tasted like a brick with too much barbecue sauce on it. It didn't help that the place was completely understaffed on a Friday night with only one waitress for the entire restaurant, inside and outside. I know that it can be hard to find good Asian food in Switzerland, but in my opinion, you're better off going to the Japanese supermarket at Hauptbahnhof and buying a pack of ramen there.

I think its good, having lived in Zurich for over a year I'm used to terrible Asian and this is anything but terrible. Ok, it's not the best Ramen I've ever had but it does the job.

Wow, awesome little Restaurant near Stauffacher! Make sure you call beforehand, since the place gets packed pretty fast! This is one of the Restaurants in Zurich where you're able to get a meal for just a bit over 20frs. The Ramen here is absolutely devine! I've had the Shisen ground pork Ramen, delicious egg noodles with a nice steaming hot soup topped of with spicy ground pork!

Tonkatsu Ramen, before eating all of it... ;)

The Tonkatsu Ramen here is really good. I enjoyed every bit of it. The restaurant is a bit small though, so you might struggle with large parties and you might have to seat with other people on your table. Other than that, food is amazing!

Feeling like Goku Noodle taste really good, I took double portion of ramen and I enjoyed. Onigiri tuna as appetizer. Nice location, situated in parallel streets from the tram Stauffacher. I recommend this place to everyone would eat/taste noodles soup さようなら (Sayōnara)

Great ramen. Fresh and homemade noodles. Tiny restaurant so think about making a reservation. Tantanamen was the best I ever had.

Very authentic Ramen and cosy atmosphere. Price is very acceptable for Zurich and the high quality ingredients (BIO meat, etc. ) they offer.

I've heard that this place gets busy, but it was easy to make a reservation online and there were plenty of empty tables when I arrived at 8:30pm Tuesday night for a late dinner. The atmosphere is very intimate and very Japanese. I'm a huge fan of the wood paneling everywhere. 10/10 would visit the next time I'm in Zurich.

Me and my friends were lucky enough to just wait 30 minutes to get a table for 4. I ordered their Tonkatsu Ramen. It had a nice solid brothe to it, just missing a slight kick that a tonkatsu ramen generally has but still hella good! The noodles were slightly firm and it accompanied the brothe well. I had a WHOLE egg to myself and it was slightly runny which you know a damn fact makes a ramen more wholesome! The other bits of toppings were good as well. My friend order their Miso ramen which I gave a try and I'll say fora fact that it was lacking a bit in what a Miso ramen stands for. They were TOO generous with the bean sprouts which ruined the whole ramen experience for my friend All in all, I had a solid experience here but can't say the same for my buddy. Definitely them a try!

Tantanmen had sesame oil flavors and the shoyu broth was very light but a bit bland for me so I added the extra sauces they had on the table. The noodles are made fresh in restaurant and they have a clear glass so you can see it being made if you're lucky. It was pretty cool watching one of the workers make it. The noodles definitely tasted great and was authentic. This ramen place is a bit on the pricier side and my friend said the prices were noticable raised but she loves this place so much, it didn't bother her. There are public bathrooms downstairs that they keep taken care of. As soon as you sit, they have clear separating glasses between tables which feels very sanitary, I love it. The ramen served is very aesthetic. I love the way they write their slogan on the nori. My favorite part is that they give you a bib to wear which was easy to put on. Both my friend and I definitely needed it because we both had soup spills on our bibs haha service was nice and they have wifi as well. This place seems to get packed very easily!
