I've been a diver, instructor & dive shop owner and have a pretty good grip on basic equipment. It's been awhile since I been on the water & a lot of things have changed. But fitting a mask doesn't. As I'm explaining mask fitting to my wife a salesperson comes up, interrupts me mid sentence & usurps the conversation. It wasn't a hi can I help you, can I answer any questions or anything of that nature. We had questions about other gear that were answered with a lot of information. Then instead of listening to what I wanted, I was steered to other gear I wasn't remotely interested in. Considering the hard sell tactics, maybe she thought pricing would scare us away. If she would have listened it would become apparent that I knew both the brand and aware of pricing. We came to buy. What caused us to leave empty handed was rudeness, lack of respect and ignoring what my desires were. Bottom Line? Top brands: Check, Well stocked: Check, Knowledgeable Staff: Check, Customer Service: Eh, not so much

We were a little disappointed in the discrepancies with the online height requirements and what was posted at the park. So we went to guest relations. DJ was incredible. Her kindness and professionalism was top tier! She made sure that we were heard and even had the General Manager talk to us. The GM, Justin, was also incredible. I have never felt like my feedback mattered so much. It wasn't too huge of a deal, a little disappointing, but we were going to have a good time anyways. The way they handle business at Cliffs made it feel like the old "Uncle Cliffs". Family. Community. And made me feel good to spend my money supporting their business. Thank you, Justin and DJ, for making our day and for being the good people. It is rare that we find that kind of customer service these days.

An employee had already been causing problems with my son's group of friends before an altercation occurred. My son DID NOT get physically involved in the altercation until he saw the employee with his arm around his friend's neck. My son stepped in, removed the employee's arm from around his friend's neck, and attempted to break up the fight. He was not the person who initiated the altercation. Yet my son is STILL banned from Urban Air. I have sent several emails asking for an explanation and have received no meaningful response. I want Urban Air to explain specifically what my son did that they believe warrants banning him. What is especially concerning to me is the timing. My son was not banned immediately following the incident. The ban came AFTER a video of the incident started circulating. Why? If Urban Air reviewed the incident and determined my son's actions warranted a ban, then explain that decision. What specific action did he take that violated their rules? Why was that determination not made immediately? Why did the ban happen only after the video began circulating? From what I witnessed, my son stepped in when he saw an employee with an arm around his friend's neck and tried to stop the situation -- not escalate it. I do not believe he should be banned for that. I am not asking Urban Air to blindly accept my version of events. Review the entire incident. Review what happened BEFORE the altercation. Review the employee's conduct. Review my son's actual actions. And then respond to me. After several emails, I should not have to leave public reviews just to try to get an explanation about why my child was banned. Parents deserve transparency and accountability when an incident involving an employee and minors becomes physical.

I felt my face drop, that's when she said, "well I didn't even ask cash or card." As she came into tell us our time was done, she also was making a face. Lastly, when we were leaving our room. We did stack our drinks and food baskets. Additionally we wiped the table. But upon realizing she would have to take the glasses she made a face of annoyance. To only pass the dishes onto her friends! If we're paying a premium price for a room (especially 2 hours on a Friday night), we expected some kind of service. I took all of them - one teaches you to top rope belay, one teaches you about movement basics, and one teaches you how to train safely. If I was paying for each class separately, I probably would skip the training class, but the other two were super useful. The gym itself is quite large, and has something for all ages and skill levels. There are lots of walls to climb on auto belay, which means you don't need a partner and you can just clip yourself onto the rope and go. People there (both staff and customers) are generally friendly and have helped me out or answered questions for me. They change stuff up all the time, so you won't get bored doing the same old routes week after week.

They are well priced, and they offer a huge variety of classes... I have been going to yoga almost every day and I have found the instructors to be experienced and highly competent. I mostly run in the ABQ Bosque during the spring and fall, so I haven't really needed to use their treadmills much but I expect that will change in the winter. On the few occasions when I have needed to use them because it was cold, or I haven't had time to get down to the river, there have been plenty of machines and no wait times. This is obviously an operation that does well at scale. One of the best gyms I have used in my life.
