We worked with Kachou-kimonos for a rental for our daughter's special first birthday. She had a Yukata for our daughter to rent. She is responsive at communicating and very kind. She was so sweet with our young daughter. People at her first birthday LOVED the Yukata. Thank you for making her first birthday special.

We worked with Sachiko-san for our wedding celebration and she was wonderful to work with. From the initial reachout to the trial fit to the day-of, she was very thoughtful and supportive, providing valuable insight and suggestions throughout the whole process. Since we were located outside of her service area (Los Angeles), we mostly did the coordination through email, but it definitely helped when we reviewed and trialed the selected shiromuku and irouchikake together in-person at her studio prior to the event. On the day of, she truly stepped in to support me throughout the day, not only providing posing guidance for my photographer but also attending me while we were dressed up. She also did my hair and makeup, which matched perfectly with my attires. We couldn't have had a better celebration if not for her dedication. Thank you so much 幸子さん!

Without a doubt, my wedding would not have happened if I hadn't met Sachiko-san and hired her for kimono rental, hair stylist, and of course Kaizoe. My wedding was tumultuous. Many things went awry, but she was the main source keeping me optimistic and grounded throughout all of it. She was my absolute rock and gives the term Kaizoe it's meaning and weight. I met Sachiko after scouring the internet for a kimono rental for my wedding last July. While, I had done a trial with a different local kimono rental place prior to meeting her, they just weren't what I was looking for. They had many beautiful shiromuku and uchikake. They are very prestigious in the local Japanese and Hollywood community. However, it wasn't a fit for me. I had some apprehensions towards aspects of the kimono that weren't as traditional, and, once I met Sachiko in person, it was no contest in choosing her. Not only did she win me over with her contagious laughter, strength, and determination, she also won my entire family and close friends over with every introduction she made. For instance, while I initially hired her to do my father's and my dressing alone, she saw that my siblings were having difficulty dressing themselves and jumped to assist them without even being asked. We all looked amazing thanks to her. With the pictures and videos, it's undeniable that she has great aesthetics and work. She is an artist. But, you cannot convey the level of expertise and professionalism she brings with her work in snapshots. Although, I paid upfront, she was willing to dedicate as much of her time as I wanted to work with her in the months leading up to the wedding. She was always flexible, warm, and instrumentally helpful to me in every meeting we had. I can say with my full heart that she is the best at what she does in all of Southern California and going with anyone else would a mistake. Thank you Sachiko-san for working to ensure that Nick and I had our perfect wedding.

Sachiko is an amazing person to work with. Not only was she an extremely attentive and soothing Kaizoe for my sister at her wedding. She also made beautiful moments while outfitting both my sister and father for the magical day with lots of wonderful options for them to choose from. On top of all this she graciously helped me and my partner look out best in our personal kimono. I would recommend her to anyone and I hope I get to work with her in the future.

I had the wonderful opportunity of renting a kimono for my coming-of-age ceremony (成人式) from Kachou-kimono, and it was definitely one of the most memorable experiences I have ever had, which I will cherish forever! I have always wanted to participate in this tradition ever since I saw photos of my mother when she was in her 20s, and as a dedication to that, I wanted to recreate a similar look. Sachiko-san helped me so much in replicating what I desired by adding similar colors and hair accessories to my mother's photos. Because of her very energetic and cheerful personality, I truly felt like a little girl playing dress-up again while picking out everything. At the end of the day, although I went in for a kimono rental experience, the best part of it all was the beautiful interaction I was able to have with Sachiko-san herself. She truly felt like a second mother to me, and it was definately one of those rare occasions where you instantly **click** with someone you had just met. If you are planning on renting from her, I would 100% guarantee you will experience so much more than just renting a kimono!!

I hired Sachiko for my 2.5-year-old daughter's 753 kimono session. Even though my daughter was going through her "I don't want to" phase, Sachiko's caring personality and beautiful smile saved the day. My shy daughter also seemed to really like Sachiko. Sachiko not only assisted with dressing her in a kimono but also alleviated my worries. I'm genuinely thankful. Thank you very much.

OMG, just incredible. I've experienced remarkable service before, but this surpasses all expectations. Exceptionally kind, courteous, and engaging. Sachiko provided us with numerous options and suggestions, guiding us precisely in the style we desired. Sachiko truly went above and beyond. Her studio exudes a very pleasant and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend her services as she epitomizes the highest standard of excellence I've ever encountered. Sachiko even exceeded greatness during our photo shoot, going out of her way to assist in every aspect, from watching the kids to eliciting genuine smiles. Choosing Sachiko Kimono's will undoubtedly be the finest decision you'll ever make.

Sachiko's welcoming warm personality made her feel comfortable. Her services are worth every penny, especially the pre consultation.

I recommend her 100%. Her kimonos are gorgeous and for every occasion from children to adult.

5 stars is not enough for Sachiko, who was not only an expert at picking the right colors and accesories for my kimono to go with the theme of my son's wedding, but also was a wealth of information on Japanese culture and traditions! She gave me a key piece of historical information for my wedding speech on the heritage of the Japanese culture that made the wedding all the more special! It was extremely obvious at the wedding to see which people rented their outfits from Sachiko and which ones were not. Even in the assembly of the outfit on the body with all the complex pieces and accessories, Sachiko's explanation of what goes into the process was enormously helpful for us to pick out which outfits were done properly. And it showed on the way these kimonos hung on our bodies! Her presence at the wedding to ensure that we continued to be comfortable in our outfits was also reassuring, made all the more joyful by Sachiko's bubbly personality, always cheerful and encouraging. And to top it off, Sachiko gave me a Japanese facial message the week before the wedding, which reduced my eyebags and made me look that much younger as a mother-in-law! The resulting photos from this help was priceless! THANK YOU SACHIKO!!!

Let me start by saying, I had a lovely experience with Sachiko's service! It was my first time wearing kimono, everything was prepared properly. We had a fitting appointment prior to the day of. Sachiko made us feel welcomed and not rushed. She was very attentive with our needs and liking. She will also suggest different patterns so we'll have more selections on choosing to complete the whole look! She also took care of our HMUA - they we're also lovely and did an amazing job for me and my siblings! At the event we attended, we received so many positive feedback, and lots of requests to take pictures with us! The kimonos were prepped nicely. Sachiko dressed us up with ease and made sure everything was comfortable I definitely recommend her if you are looking for a professional and cool experience wearing Japanese traditional clothings

The wedding kimono she helped me pick out

Sachiko-san was referred to me by my cousin who also rented a kimono from her. I hired Sachiko-san to help me pick out a kimono for my wedding. She was so kind, patient, and helpful! She also helped dress me in all the pieces on my wedding day! I am a Yonsei (4th generation Japanese-American) and she helped to educated me in the meaning of all the wedding kimono pieces and their significance. I was beyond pleased by my experience! Although I have only known her for a short while, she made me feel so comfortable and she feels like family. I highly recommend her and her services for anyone needing to rent a kimono! Domo arigato Sachiko-san!

Sachiko is truly phenomenal! This is my second time working with her, and it certainly will not be the last. She puts so much heart and soul into making sure that your kimono selection is perfect, tailored just for you, and lets you be a part of that magical process of everything coming together. Kimono fitting one day, hair and makeup consultation another, and has everything perfectly ready for you the day of. So much work goes into a photoshoot, and she makes it look effortless. Her energy is magnetic, and you will adore working with her :)

As others mentioned already, it was more than just wearing Kimono. It was magical healing. Sachiko makes others feel special and precious. She has talent to discover beauty and humanity within the person as the she adds layer of clothe and accessories. I had goosebump when she put me the white silky gown. I could sense something within me woke up and I could feel more dignity and appreciations towards myself and others. I could see how Sachiko puts effort to prepare everything for customers beyond our imaginations and she always takes extra mile (literally). She allowed me to visit her studio 2 times to choose Kimono and looking at her collections already made my heart enchanted. She loves every pieces of Kimono and manages them with deep care. Sachiko and the photographer was really good team, both uplifted the atmosphere to make us comfortable and happy. Thank you!

From the very beginning, Jerry took the time to guide me through the entire process of building my first custom suit. We carefully reviewed every detail, from the collar to the cuffs, and I quickly realized just how meticulous the art of suit-making truly is or perhaps that level of precision is simply Jerry's signature. At the first fitting, Jerry proudly presented the finished suit and shirt, walking me through every thoughtful detail. He explained the stitching, pointed out how the trousers were subtly tailored at the hem to drape perfectly over the shoes, highlighted the custom embroidery, and even showed the sweat guards sewn into the suit--along with countless other details I would have never noticed on my own. His enthusiasm and pride in his craft were unmistakable, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about creating something exceptional for his clients. I walked away with an incredible suit and tie, and an even greater appreciation for the craftsmanship and passion that Jerry brings to his work.

I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

I was fortunate enough to chat with Lily! She asked me exactly what I was there to receive, and I told her I needed a fun costume, without spending tons and tons of money. We came to the consensus that although one may be a bit more lively, the other would be more comfy for an all-day event. I sent a picture for approval, and I was told everything worked except the Hat. Forunatly, We knew that if we switched the hat, we could still have a great look. She got me two potential Hats from a very high shelf in the back. And I couldn't quite decide, so I ended up purchasing both! I knew that I didn't want to take any more time in analysis paralysis, but Lily was very patient with me, and she knew this was important to me, so she was right by my side the whole time! Once I got home I noticed that there was a stain on one of the hats that we just didn't catch, so I came back to make a note, and Christina, her boss, was kind enough to take some baby wipes and make it looks spick and span. It's funny because once the stain from the silly hat was gone, I said, " ok good, now I feel confident wearing this!" Both Lily and Christina were very kind, pleasant, and helpful.
