Ordered a gyro wrap and fries. Full marks. Came in close to closing time and asked the host if it was okay. After being given the pass, I ordered a freshly cooked gyro wrap on some nice, toasty pita bread. My host even let me know that they swapped out the oil to cook me a fresh, well-seasoned batch of fries. Very good meal with very fresh ingredients. And, surprising to me, the meat was *not* overcooked like I'm used to from this style of restaurant. Best part: they had a special going on so the cost was only 8 or 9 dollars. Highly recommend. First time at Kabob Grill and overall we had a really good experience! We came in around 9:30 PM, just 30 minutes before closing, and they were kind enough to still let us dine in. The restaurant is bright, clean, and has a nice family-friendly atmosphere. We tried the chicken shawarma tacos, beef burger, and the chicken/beef combo with rice, pita, salad, hummus and tzatziki. Portions were pretty generous and definitely enough for four people. The chicken shawarma tacos were my favorite--juicy and tasty, although I wish they had a little more seasoning/spice. The burger was just okay, and the combo was good but the rice was a bit dry. But the Dubai chocolate cheesecake was AMAZING! Not overly sweet and had the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. I recently tried Kabob Grill and it completely exceeded my expectations. The steak shawarma was absolutely incredible. It was grilled perfectly with a beautiful char on the outside while staying tender and juicy inside. Every bite was packed with flavor. The lamb kabob plate was just as impressive. The seasoning was amazing, bold and savory while still letting the natural flavor of the meat shine through. The rice tasted like it was made with high quality butter, rich and fragrant, and it paired perfectly with the kabobs. The real star of the meal was the Dubai cheesecake. It stole the show. It was creamy, decadent, and the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic meal!! The owner is super sweet and really cares about you having a good meal. I ordered the chicken kabob plate. The woman at the window was very nice and pleasant and they give a military discount. The 2 stars is for the service. The food was a big let down. The rice was clumped together and had flavor. The chicken was overcooked and you barely tasted any flavor on it. The only thing good was the hummus. It looks like it would be delicious but the seasoning is very different and does not taste Mediterranean. The steak tastes like anise and I really can't stand the flavor of anise. The rice tastes like nothing. The tzatziki tastes like plain yogurt and I didn't eat the salad.The dressing is just oil. Will not be eating the rest of my meal. I wanted a healthy meal, so stopped in for a quick to go order. It was midweek late afternoon, so not too busy. Staff at front counter was friendly and greeted me, she gave me a menu and took my order. I ordered a gyro wrap with a side salad with dressing and tzatziki sauce. I thought dining area was nice, open, and clean. There was a family eating already and they looked happy. Wait for my food wasn't very long and it only took 10-15 minutes. There is a tv to watch in the dining area while you wait. There is a self service area for soda drinks. Service was excellent and they even informed me about karaoke and a live band there Thursday if I wanted to come back. I got a cozy family run feel from this place and would probably like to check it out next time to dine in. The food in my opinion was tasty. Salad was made fresh, loved the lemony olive oil dressing, the red onion, tomato, and feta cheese. The wrap was not huge just right for me, regular serving size and the tzatziki sauce was perfect compliment wish I had more of it! The Dubai cheesecake was also a standout - noticeably better than most of the overpriced and disappointing Dubai chocolate things I've tried. I love the grilled veggies they make them so so good the perfect amount of char and pro tip get anything that comes with the hummus it's kinda the best in the valley. I was at Kabob Grill yesterday after a hard day's work, hungry and tired. I decided to go to this restaurant, even though it was about 20 miles of drive, because the advertisement video gave the impression, the food would be great. Upon arrival, driving in traffic, I was ready to eat a good amount of food. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed the ambiance was okay. The place was clean and tidy. I would give the ambiance 5 out of 10. I did notice that it was dinner time when I had arrived at this restaurant, the restaurant was empty, except for only two people seated and that they were not eating. I assumed they were restaurant employees as they knew the server. If this restaurant food was good as advertised, then the place at dinner time should be at least half filled, this was not so. But then I was tired and hungry and did not want to go to another restaurant and so decided to stay. The gentleman, the server, who greeted us sat us down. The menu looked like any other Kabob place. The server was pleasant and very attentive and alert. An order of Lamb chop platter, medium done and Aleppo kabob platter, also medium done was made. Service 9 out of 10. Lamb Chop Platter. Salad was good. The lamb was well done closer to being dry not even close to medium done, as ordered. Extremely salty. I have never eaten anything as salty as this set of Lamb chops. There were burnt areas on the lamb chops which could not be eaten. I guess the grilling was done in a high heat and high flame grill. Very, very disappointed. Next came the Aleppo Kabob platter. The same salad was served. The Aleppo Kabob was also over cooked and also had burnt portions to it. This was also quite salty but not as salty as the Lamb chops. The Aleppo Kabob was dry too and it seemed that Aleppo Kabob was not freshly made. It was precooked and microwave heated prior to serving. Overall food was disappointing. FOOD RATING: 3 OUT OF 10. 3 because the salad was fresh with a tasty dressing. Frankly speaking I would not like to rate the food because the standard of food was substandard and poor, at best. Would I visit this restaurant again. Possibly not, maybe in 6 months. In 6 months if the restaurant still exists, then that would mean they have got their act corrected and the food quality has improved and so worth trying out one more time. I would then love to try out the food and love to give good to great review. GOOD LUCK TO THE RESTAURANT OWNER. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THE GRAVITY OF THE SITUATION AND IMPROVE ON FOOD QUALITY. Who else came here cuz they saw them in TikTok? lol We tried all the Tacos and lemme say, all of them were !!!! My most favorite was the steak shawarma. All of them are packed with so much flavor! The sauces they gave complimented each taco perfectly My boys ordered the chicken and Steak Shawarma fries and boyyyyy, it all gone! No crumbs!
