Originally talked to someone in the store and told us he would work with us on price. So we planned to come in. We called before hand and asked if we could bring in our current puppy to make sure they get along. He said yes but we needed a muzzle for her. Searched all over to get her a muzzle and finally found one as she is a puppy and most do not fit her. And then got there and he let us know we needed vet records too. After we drove 45 minutes from home and obviously did not have the paper records on hand. After searching for the records, I happened to have the records scanned (as I had to send them to our new leasing manager) to my phone so I asked if those would be okay. And they said no for whatever reason. So my fiancé and I figured out a game plan as we already had our puppy with us and they would not budge. We tried to work around that as they had kind of destroyed those plans after telling us one thing. So we were trying to work with the owner on price. But he wasn't even there. He was texting and calling us. We were willing to work with them but after them telling us they would work with us they did not. Instead the owner finally called my fiancé and was horribly rude. I would not ever buy a dog from them. I would never give them my money, I don't care if they had the dog I wanted for $200. We will be paying $1200 for our new Shiba Inu. And very happy that we paid more just so he gets no profit from us. The man seemed very nice and willing to work with us at first call. We had found another one previous but it was a long drive. We will now happily take that long drive. And after reading reviews here of sick dogs thank god I didn't get a puppy mill puppy from here and give them any profit for having sick dogs and horrible attitudes. read more

I went to the Palos hills location and got a old English bulldog from them the puppy was skinny and I bought her because I had to fatten it up cause it was to skinny . And not even a few days later she got really sick and started to throw up alot and stopped eating and drinking I took it to the vet and found out the dog had pravo and I called the owner and he said it did not get it from there it most of picked it up from your home all the other dogs where fine but he sold them and would contact the other owners to see if the other puppies where sick calls me back with in 5 mins and told me they where fine . I did not believe that for a minute I was not asking him for my money back I was trying to let him know and warn him that the puppies where sick he hung up on me needless to say I spent 1500 dollars more on the sick puppy to get it better I think everyone should be warned do not buy puppies from them . read more

I walked into this store cause I want another dog. First thing I noticed was how dirty this place is and has a extremely bad smell. The place was filthy! Felt bad for those puppies. I walked out of this placed cause my son asked a question to the owner and he was very RUDE with his answer! This owner has no idea how to treat customers! read more

Came in to see the puppies and all the puppies looked lethargic covered in stool and urine. The white puppies were yellow. Employees don't seem to care. There are signs everywhere that say don't put puppies on the floor. When purchasing a puppy you need to see how it plays/walks. This whole place was a huge NO. This place claims to "rescue" puppies ... but in reality, sources their dogs from Amish puppy mills. Stay far away and if you want to complete your family, go to a reputable rescue or breeder - this is not where you want to end up! read more

Was interested in adding another bulldog to our family so me and my family traveled from Chicago to look at a bulldog we were interested in. We walked in and it smelled (expected it to smell but not that bad) there are places that have double the animals and it doesn't smell that bad. You can not walk in and view the dogs. I asked an employee if we could look at the dogs he said he was by himself so he could not allow it. The dogs are kept in small crates full of crap. I left a suggestion on the business Facebook page and the owner sent me a private message stating that he reviewed the cameras and saw what happened and apologized and said because they were busy the employee didn't explain to us that we could have took the dogs into a private room which is weird because there was only one other couple in the store when we were there. Then he blocked me from his Facebook page and erased my comment which I found off because I didn't say anything but the store needed a better set up. Makes me wonder what other customers have said that he has erased. read more

Buyer beware, DO NOT BUY A DOG HERE. This is a puppy mill trying to present themselves as Breeders. They do not have a breeders license, just a kennel license. The owner, has a felony record, criminal and or civil records and he and his wife (co-owners) have several lawsuits, liens and bankruptcies.They refer their buyers to a vet, claiming the vet is cheap and provides excellent care however the referred vet has had his license revoked several times.The owners of this KENNEL do not stand by their 6 month heath guarantee / contract. Upon my first visit, on a Saturday afternoon, they were very busy and appeared to be friendly. After purchasing our dog we had many issues within the first week and the dog was very unhealthy. After calling the owners for help / advise they completely changed, pointing blame, referring us to a vet that had a horrible facility and finally telling us not to call or come back to their facility. After much research we found out many unfavorable things about these people and their vet. Additionally, they claimed the dog was purebred however after trying to obtain papers they said that would cost another $500. This after paying $2,500 for a purebred dog. Don't learn this lesson the hard way. Do your research on breeders, facilities and owners and the vets they recommend before you buy, make sure the breeder lets you see the mother and father of the pup and does not charge you more for papers. Papers should come with the dog! read more
