My newly adopted rescue dog, a semi-feral but…read morenon-agressive fluffy menace, sweet but an unfortunate ball of crazy, needed a place to stay for a week during an unavoidable trip. I'd only had him a month, he'd just started to trust me, and the timing was terrible. Oh, and he's also an accomplished escape artist, avid fence climber and high flight risk, so I was worried a home sitter or local Rover wouldn't quite be up to his antics. Then I found WagSuites. After several phone conversations with various staff members, during which they impressed me with comprehensive, intelligent questions and genuine care and concern for the pets, I was more than willing to try them. WagSuites and all the staff are fantastic. I see the same faces each time I go in, and my fluffy menace has made multiple friends there, relaxed enough to enjoy daily puppy playtime, and even frolicked in the large play areas. They took pictures of him at play , and their playground monitors and staff kept copious notes they shared whenever I came to pick him up or called. They were even able to brush and bathe him that first time with patience and lots of reassuring pets--something the rescue folks hadn't quite managed without the aid of sedatives and several months of practice, although that was no one's fault--the menace is a complicated and opinionated bundle of fluff. Needless to say, they are now my automatic go to whenever I need day care or a sitter for him. I can relax knowing he's safe, that there will be no chance of him escaping and getting hurt, and he seems to do well during his little breaks there, comes back happy and relaxed (for him) and also makes some furry friends. The menace and I are lucky to have found them!

I have a very special little dog who…read moreneeds a lot of training and attention to help overcome her behavioral challenges and they not only understood what to do immediately, we've been making steady progress since we first met everyone. The convenient Wheaton location of the facility is great for daycare and they also allow for half-day daycare too. Very flexible scheduling. When I pick my dog up, I can tell that she's received personalized attention from the staff and that she has been well cared for. Often she's been able to work one-on-one with a staff member for nearly all of her half-day session. We also attend the group classes which are incredibly unique and let my dog build up practice interacting with other dogs in a way that reinforce new, good behaviors. My neighbors are thrilled with the progress almost as much as I am - my dog no longer automatically barks at everyone outside now and is able to make new friends. The in home training we did originally was incredibly valuable to get us started on the right foot. We need to do that again very soon! Is it the least expensive daycare and/or training in the area? No. But it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. When I leave my dog in the care of The Canine's Voice I know that she's going to be safe, loved, and will learn a few things while she's there. The rooms for cats are spacious enough to roam around and also have fun climbing over everything. I will definitely be using them again in the future and would recommend this spot to everyone! Felt weird from moment we walked in. And no I am not just leaving a review because my 3 yr old boston got kicked out from there within 2 to 3 hrs when he has been going to daycare since he was a puppy. Saying my dog was nipping, but ok!! I think this place needs to introduce new dogs maybe one by one..and actually give new dogs a chance. After diagnosis and treatment by Dr Anda the follow up exam showed that the infection cleared. We always get a call after each visit to check on how our dogs are doing and to see if we have questions. The facility is very clean and there is plenty of parking in the lot.

He is good with all three and handles our Cane Carso very well - for many in the past this has been a great challenge since he's a huge dog and looks intimidating. Brian is gentle and provides good exercises and walks. He has lots of space for the dogs in his property. We left our dogs with him few times (recently for more than 10 days). Our dogs come back happy and healthy.

Since she's a rescue, she tends to get a bit anxious whenever we leave her, but she always has a great experience here, even as a senior cat at age 10 now. Prior to the pandemic, we boarded her a number of times at PetSmart's Pet Hotel on Elston and looking back, it was not a good fit at all and really didn't offer our girl much space. Now at Meeow, we couldn't be happier. Knowing she's well taken care of, loved, has more than enough room to lounge and play all makes leaving her for a bit easier. I also so appreciate how communicative the staff at Meeow is! Their quick replies to texts or calls to adjust drop-off or pick-up times and daily update photos on Instagram are just the best. So thankful we have them and I truly think the price is very right!
