Biscuit relaxing
Liz N.

We could not be more thankful for the team at K9-revolution! We feel like we have a new dog. Our sweet boy, Biscuit was always a sweetie but was always on alert, anxious, terrible on the leash and somewhat aggressive with people, randomly but ended up chasing a kid away from our house while nipping at him. We obviously couldn't have that with two young boys. John took a call from us on a Sunday night and took so much time to explain all the reasons this behavior could be happening and what they would do to fix it. We dropped Biscuit off knowing he was in great hands. We got video updates everyday and when we got him back a few weeks later we couldn't believe the change!! Walks are a dream, he's calm and relaxed and wonderful with anyone who walks in the door. We can't thank John and his team enough!!

I have a one year old husky/heeler dog that was wild and full of energy. I found k9 revolution on Google maps gave them a call boarded my dog In a day kept him for couple of weeks. I recently got him back all I can say is wow he is a changed dog. We also have classes to continue his training weekly that are free after the training. Couldn't ask for a better place. I definitely recommend this place.

K9 revolution is outstanding !! Well worth the money. Our dogs went to John with severe reactivity, lack of obedience, and terrible leash skills. After training with John at K9 revolution they are seriously different dogs! He not only took our dogs for several weeks and changed their behavior he also offered unlimited follow up training for LIFE. He gave us all the tools we could ever need to support our dogs for the rest of their lives. I believe if the owner puts in the work John prescribes he could train any dog. We go to his weekly socialization classes and have seen countless dogs completely change their behaviors for the better. John invests in your dog more than any trainer I have ever worked with. I can't recommend this place enough we will be loyal to John forever !

We couldn't be more grateful for the incredible work K9 Revolution has done with our sweet, but incredibly stubborn, prima donna Husky. From day one, Jon and his team showed patience, understanding, and unmatched expertise - taking extra time to really connect with our boy and bring out the best him. A standard two-week program turned into three (because, well...he's a Husky!). Not only did they just train Lobo, but they also trained us too. Jon and his team made sure we understood the methods they were using, so the progress wouldn't stop once Lobo came home. They walked us through everything, step by step, answering questions and making sure we felt confident and capable. On top of that, they provided daily snippets for the training sessions, complete with tips and reminders for how to maintain the structure at home. We're especially impressed with how Jon is handling the very challenging dynamic between our two male dogs, who have both become dominant and can no longer live together. Thanks to Jon for his dedication and skill set, they're slowly starting to interact again, and we truly believe harmony is possible. He won't give up on them, and neither will we. Whether you have a new puppy learning the basics or a complex behavioral issue, K9 Revolution is absolutely the place to go. Five stars, hands down.

How do you post MINUS STARS??? A complete waste of nearly $3K. There are great dog trainers with similar accommodations for $500. My grand dog came back and acts exactly as he did before even when my daughter is diligent with his training. John et al stated they would get a handicapped walker and teach him along with it, as I am severely disabled. They didn't. Shilo nearly knocks me over everyday. I am 81 and crippled. I can't barely walk down the hallway as it is. I can't have guests because he jumps on everyone if Dana is not here and he barks non-stop. I deserve my money back. It was a complete waste. Dana has taught him better on her own. $2,800K. But left with me, nope. Shilo was never trained. I paid that so I wouldn't have to worry in my condition. Useless. And an enormous amount of money wasted. The ad that John can train even the worst or the worst is a complete lie. He couldn't train a nice dog. Marilyn Blomberg

Chloe on the left and Cove on the right

I had just gotten a puppy for my birthday, little Cove. We already had Chloe, an 8 year old dog at home. Within a week of having Cove, I realized I needed help. I went online and searched high and low. I was in contact with multiple trainers, but Angela from K9 Revolution really stuck out. The initial phone call we had, she was so thorough, it was a 45 minute call! She answered so many questions and told us all about the program. We then had a second call that included Jon and it was nice to hear more info. We didn't know if we were ready to pull the trigger on sending two dogs to a board and train for 2-3 weeks, cost wise and emotionally. My girlfriend and I were convinced that if we sent little Cove only, she would come back and then Chloe would make her regress in her training. So ultimately we sent both. We went to tour the facility and the same day we dropped our girls off. While they were gone we got SO many videos and text updates. It was great seeing the progress and any point if we had a question they got back to us pretty quick. We got our dogs back and immediately stopped at petsmart to pick up kennels. We were very hesitant to do so, just because we've never done it and frankly didn't believe in it. However, we took the girls to petsmart and immediately saw a shift. Chloe used to be so reactive and she was able to walk right in between dogs and not care at all. We got our kennels, and we're now two weeks in and it's a game changer. We use it religiously and it's created great boundaries and regulation for the girls. Cove is just a puppy, so they worked on creating a base level for training and she came back to us so eager to keep pleasing and following those rules. And Chloe came back a different dog in the best ways. Not reactive, listening, and able to regulate. I'm SO glad we ended up doing it. And we plan on sticking with training our dogs for life. K9 revolution offers free classes every Saturday and I think that's so great to keep the dogs socialized and to keep up with their training in a safe environment. The facility itself is clean, the staff is friendly, and it's right next to the vet where Cove got her first vet visit. So grateful for Jon, Angela, Shannon and Steph!!

Vince was very responsive and at drop off explained everything we needed to know about his process, what he'd be doing with our dog, and answered all of our questions. We felt very comfortable leaving Klaus there. Once training was complete, Vince conducted a whole session of showing us exactly what Klaus learned and more importantly taught us what we needed to do moving forward. Vince was super patient with us and made sure we felt 100% comfortable going home to continue the work. Vince has been available for any follow up questions and hosts monthly group training classes for clients, which are amazing. Klaus loves and respects Vince so much and is always excited to see him. A couple weeks after training we went out of town and boarded Klaus with Vince and couldn't be happier with the convenience and the controlled environment. I recommend Colorado Canine Training to anyone looking to better understand their dog and get the training they need. Klaus is excited to work on his new skills everyday now! We enrolled our 5-month old goldendoodle puppy Archie in her Manners 101 course and she really took the time to get to know all the dogs, sharing so many useful training tips along the way. You could tell very quickly this is her true calling and she treats your dog like her own. Her emphasis on positive reinforcement techniques will serve you well and the dogs respond quite well to it. She also offers private in-home lessons at a very reasonable rate and we got so much value out of having her over to observe Archie in his home environment. We wanted to address the behavior early rather than let it become more established, so within about six weeks of it starting, we enrolled her in a board-and-train program. We ultimately decided to put both of our Aussies through separate programs: both females, one five years old and the other about a year and a half. The difference has been night and day. Both dogs now have reliable recall, walk calmly on leash, and for the first time, we feel genuinely confident having them off leash. They no longer react to wildlife or other dogs on hikes, the fence running and excessive barking have stopped, and they can calmly sit with us at outdoor cafes and other dog-friendly public spaces. The "place" command has been especially valuable. They can settle calmly for extended periods, which has been a true game changer both at home and when we're out with them. Most importantly, both dogs seem more confident because they understand what is expected of them. My husband and I are also much more consistent and aligned in how we communicate with them and provide the structure they need to be successful. We've enjoyed continuing to work with them every day and building on the foundation Juliet provided. The overall atmosphere in our home is noticeably calmer, more harmonious, and far less frustrating for both us and the dogs. Juliet has also continued to follow up and check in to make sure the dogs are doing well, which is something you don't always see once a training program is finished. It's a tangible sign that she genuinely cares about the dogs' long-term success, and it has reinforced for us that this was absolutely the right investment for our family.

Two of them are my problem children: a Rottweiler mix foster fail who is reactive to bikes and other dogs and occasionally nervous around people like visiting contractors or UPS men, and the other is a 100+ lb Brazilian mastiff rescue from Aruba who is not fond of other dogs. The two of them began showing increasingly worse dog aggression toward other dogs on the trail and while camping, and had attacked several dogs by the time I found Loyal Hound/Juliet. I was at my wit's end, because I had already spent thousands of dollars and tried everything including other trainers at that point with little to no progress. I felt stuck with 2 big problems for the next 6-8 years. I hike at least 3 miles every single day off leash on the trails by my house, and I love to camp with my dogs in the summer, but they became such a liability that walks became stressful and camping became impossible. I finally found Juliet with Loyal Hound, and for our very first session we met at a crowded park and were going to be doing off leash training right away. I was so nervous -- all the triggers were present: other people with dogs on leashes, dogs off leashes, people on bikes, squirrels -- so I was absolutely AMAZED when we were walking my Rottweiler off leash through a gaggle of geese, past people on bikes, and past other dogs within a few minutes with no problems. It was nothing short of a miracle. Within a few sessions, I had both of my dog aggressive dogs walking on and off leash next to me, passing other dogs (sometimes dogs that were even barking at them) on trails safely with no reactivity. I cannot explain in words how much of a difference this has made in my life -- I feel like I got my life back. If you have a dog aggressive dog, this is the place to go. It's WELL worth the investment, and you will be amazed at the difference you will see in your dog. Thank you Loyal Hound & Juliet!!

We wanted to nip that aggression behaviour right at the bud, but perhaps did not realize how, in fact, all behaviours woudl inevitably be addressed. Even those little behaviours that aren't totally bad, like unwanted licks. After two session about 1~ month apart, our dog is more confident, less reactive, and shining in his pro-social behaviours -- even within the home, which used to be his most territorial space! His behaviours, from loose-leash walking to staying in place until told otherwise, have also improved. I really didn't think this could be such a comprehensive approach, but Scott demonstrated how all behaviours of our dog could be supported/improved! I also really appreciate the company motto that no more than a few sessions are needed -- no gimmicks or lies here! Scott's approach is to really give you the tools to be able to work on positive and acceptable behaviours confidently on your own. I feel confident to be doing this in the coming weeks and months as my dog transition from adolescence to adulthood. I wholeheartedly recommend Scott's service! A complete contrast to our older collie/aussie mix, he was full of energy and naughtiness (a puppy), and a nightmare to control. Prior to being surrendered by his (previous) family, he went through two weeks of out of home boarding/training, costing upwards of $7,000. We thought this would have helped with obedience, but boy were we wrong. Fast forward two and a half years, sessions with a certified behaviorist, and failed attempts to use an e-collar, we were at a loss. He constantly displayed leash reactivity, would lunge at cars and dogs, and made it so we would rarely walk anywhere. He almost broke my finger during a break free lunge at a dog completely across a residential street! At home, dog forbid another animal appeared on the tv; he would jump and bark at everything. Then we found Chill Out... After the very first session with Scott, our big boy golden was a different dog. What makes Claudia special as a trainer is that she's truly positive reinforcement, not mixed positive and punishment which is just confusing for dogs. Also, she isn't your dog's trainer, she's YOUR trainer - teaching you how to build a next level relationship with your doggie. We have a 7lb rescue who needed to learn how to safely interact with the world. We started by prioritizing basics, like sit, lay down, come, leave it, etc. Our original plan was to just get the basics covered - our dog is so little we wanted to ensure his safety. I had done a good amount of research and watch videos online of how to train these commands and thought I would take it as far as I could on my own before bringing in a trainer to cover any gaps. Well once we brought in Claudia my only regret was not bringing her in from the very start. We learned so much about how to work with our dog, we learned much faster, and had a lot of fun in the process. We ended up working with Claudia for more sessions only because what we learned improved our relationship with our dog so much and was so rewarding for all of us that we wanted to keeping working on more fun training. And because we learned the fundamentals so well from Claudia, we've since been able to train our dog on even more things entirely on our own (like "boop" nose to nose touch). This is due to the foundational understanding that Claudia taught us of how to shape new skills. Claudia has also come to our aid in a couple semi-emergency situations, such as when we started fostering a dog that had been rescued from the streets and was therefore very reactive and resource guarding. She helped us first prioritize safety and well-being for both our foster dog and resident dog, then followed up with how to work on our foster dog's behaviors to help her get adopted successfully. If not for Claudia in that situation we might have needed to return our foster to the rescue - but instead we were equipped to handle a whole new set of challenging behaviors and set our foster dog up for a good life with a family.
