Anthony with K9 Bar Academy helped me tremendously with my 3 1/2 year old pit bull Zeus! My 5 year old daughter and I were in the process of moving into my father's home for a period of time after my recent divorce. Unfortunately, my 120 pound pitty (who has been our family dog since he was 3 months old) absolutely hated my Dad's dog (a 110 pound Rottweiler). At first introduction, the two dogs seemed as if they would kill each other. Needless to say this was a recipe for disaster and I needed professional help. I found K9 Bar Academy online and got in contact with Anthony. He spent almost 45 minutes reviewing my situation and training needs for Zeus. We decided the board and train program was the best option. Anthony and his team worked with Zeus for 5-6 weeks and communicated with me every step of the way. He sent videos on training progress consistently. I even brought my dads dog to the board and train facility so that the 2 dogs could come together on neutral territory and do some training together. Anthony brought Zeus home to us after almost 6 weeks and worked with our entire family on training, commands, routines, and dinner table manners. He spent 6 hours with everyone and helped ensure everyone was speaking the same language to Zeus. Zeus received the necessary training to be able to come home with us and for us to have the 2 dogs together. My Dad's dog is very old (14) and Zeus is able to be with her without issue now because he received the training and structure he needed. I am VERY thankful to have found K9 Bar Academy and SO happy with their services! Anthony is professional, extremely knowledgeable, and gives clear and realistic expectations. I would highly recommend his services for training and boarding as well.

Kind of an old dog, but looks good for her age. I agreed and she had an appointment this morning at 9:15am. This is a family owned business. I believe they are 2 cousins and running the business with lots of love, experience and expertise. They do variety of grooming, have doggie day care (if you need to be away for few days), do training for your dog and cat, offer dental cleaning, cut their fingernails on their paws, without hurting them. Give a nice bath, the shampoo that they use, I wouldn't mind using it on my hair:-) Not joking. Smelled so good. They even give treats to your pet. Sell few items of snacks/food. When her dog came out, she was unrecognizable. She looked so cute, smelled good, and looked clean. When Simba saw her mom, jumped straight into her arms and they both hugged each other so tight. The entire process took about an hour and the cost was $150.00. Accepts most credit cards and cash is always an option.. After I saw that love, compassion, and attentiveness, helpful services that her dog received from Fresh Paws, now I am considering to get a dog. Unfortunately, our building is not a pet friendly building. This place has been around for a little over 2 years. Parking is shared with other businesses. Lot was full, and we parked on the street. She and I highly recommend Fresh Paws to anyone who has a dog or a cat.. For more information, contact their friendly staff! Place was spotless clean and smelled good when we first walked in.

I was truly amazed at the service Kelli provided, her demeanor was professional. Impeccable service, she wouldn't accept our dogs without their vaccinations being up to date, which says a lot about her doggy daycare, love this. Kelli referred me to a great pet Clinic to get their vaccines updated. Kelli sent us video clips of the dogs daily, putting our minds at ease. She has a no cage policy, which is why we chose her as well her impeccable reviews on yelp. The dogs were so happy in the video clips she sent us. Wolly is a 12 lb, 10 year old Maltipoo who is very social but definitely set in his ways, so we do not say this lightly: we truly cannot say enough good things about the care he received here. From a logistics standpoint, the entire experience was incredibly easy. The flexibility of drop off before noon without needing daily sign ups was a huge win for us while traveling and juggling plans. Pick up as late as 7 PM was equally helpful, and the pricing felt very reasonable for the level of service. What really stood out was the thoughtfulness around safety and care. The facility is secure and gated at drop off, and we watched staff carefully manage dog flow right at the entrance. At one point, a team member even positioned themselves between our children and a larger dog out of an abundance of caution. That level of awareness told us everything we needed to know. We also appreciated the small but meaningful details. There is a live camera so we could check in whenever we missed him. They feed dogs separately and sanitize the area afterward, which gave us real peace of mind. But the true highlight was the caregivers. The way they greeted Wolly each day, how gently they handled him, and how clearly they knew the dogs in their care made this place special. Every afternoon we received the most adorable photo of him, and by midweek he was literally running inside, tail wagging, completely comfortable and happy. As dog parents, there is no better feeling than knowing your pup loves where he is and is being looked after by professionals who genuinely care. Wag Hotels Hollywood made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Wolly. We will absolutely be back the next time we are in LA.

They also claimed they called and left a voicemail after I filled out all the paperwork online. I don't know who they called, but it sure wasn't me. Imagine being in the business of watching people's pets when they are scheduled to leave town and leaving them with no care. I guess I'm "lucky" they aren't caring for my dog because they don't know what they are doing. Edit and reply to the BS reply received from Wag. You sent a CONFIRMATION to me I attached. That means you agreed to watch my dog and anyone receiving that would think the same. You left me with no care for my dog and no, you didn't call me or leave a message. I'm an ex-petsitter myself and this was a a horrifying experience to arrive to drop your dog off to leave town and be denied care. You should be ashamed to call yourself a business or say you care about animals. I assume you were the person in the office that didn't come out to talk to me and left it to two employees that probably hate their job. You told them to tell me my dog was too old and now you are lying. Shame on you. I see you have other reviews that show just how awful you are I should have read them first and steered clear of your company.

The receptionist told us to come in right away since we were only a few minutes away. When we arrived, the same receptionist acted as if she had no idea about the call. We had to repeat ourselves, which made the interaction feel awkward and unwelcoming from the start. Instead of greeting us warmly, she seemed dismissive and inconvenienced. Things got worse when our dog was taken to the back. She is a small dog (under 20 lbs) and naturally a bit anxious, which we communicated. Rather than handling her with care, the staff member repeatedly pulled her by the leash when she hesitated, which clearly scared her. No effort was made to comfort her--no treats, no gentle approach, and no attempt to pick her up to help her feel safe. After seeing our dog being handled this way, we immediately asked for her back and left. As feedback to the owner: friendly customer service and gentle handling of animals should be the standard. While I was admittedly late for pickup, the manager's response was completely unprofessional. She called and screamed at me, calling me an 'awful dog owner' and 'irresponsible.' She further claimed I don't know how to read hours, that my dog is a 'problem' (after 8 years of no issues?), and falsely accused me of not paying. It is deeply saddening that nearly a decade of loyalty was met with such personal attacks and vitriol. There are plenty of places in the area that treat both pets and their owners with basic human decency. Avoid if you value being treated with respect.
