My friend that lives one building away from mine asked me last night if I can accompany her to take her dog Simba, who is 7 years old to this dog clinic. Kind of an old dog, but looks good for her age. I agreed and she had an appointment this morning at 9:15am. This is a family owned business. I believe they are 2 cousins and running the business with lots of love, experience and expertise. They do variety of grooming, have doggie day care (if you need to be away for few days), do training for your dog and cat, offer dental cleaning, cut their fingernails on their paws, without hurting them. Give a nice bath, the shampoo that they use, I wouldn't mind using it on my hair:-) Not joking. Smelled so good. They even give treats to your pet. Sell few items of snacks/food. When her dog came out, she was unrecognizable. She looked so cute, smelled good, and looked clean. When Simba saw her mom, jumped straight into her arms and they both hugged each other so tight. The entire process took about an hour and the cost was $150.00. Accepts most credit cards and cash is always an option.. After I saw that love, compassion, and attentiveness, helpful services that her dog received from Fresh Paws, now I am considering to get a dog. Unfortunately, our building is not a pet friendly building. This place has been around for a little over 2 years. Parking is shared with other businesses. Lot was full, and we parked on the street. After using Fresh Paws for two years, I won't be going back. My sweet Terrier mix had to be taken to the vet the day after grooming because she was in so much pain and for two days she couldn't be touched. She cried on and off and kept to herself. When I mentioned this to Fresh Paws, they got defensive and asked for a copy of my vet visit. I sent it to them showing where Macie needed to be on pain meds for a week. Fresh Paws did not ask how she was and did not follow up. They took no accountability. I don't know what happened but I think it was careless handling or maybe another dog attacked Macie. Whatever happened I will never know for sure but it will not happen to my baby again. I'm done!!! read more

Our pups are pretty afraid of all groomers, but the crew here are all so kind and gentle it makes the whole event less stressful. You can tell they truly love animals and their job. Brought my boy Macho in and these folks are the real deal. He came out looking SHARP....coat soft, nails clipped clean, ears spotless, and he smelled good. Best part? No surprise add-ons.. everything was already included in the grooming package, so no nickel-and-diming you at the counter. You can tell they genuinely like dogs because Macho is usually a drama queen about grooming and he walked out happy and relaxed. Gentle with him, fast, and fairly priced. Before and after! Haven't found anywhere as affordable that'll take cats!! My girl got her nails clipped a bath and a nice brush! She came out looking so cute with her bow. Coco looks amazing!! Very white, super clean! Doesn't look 12 anymore he looks 6 again! He is an old guy so he has warts on his body some places tend to cut him and he comes back with irritated patches. They avoided all his warts and he didn't have any cuts on them! They give you peace of mind as well, they text you videos & pics during the process! Long overdue review.....I've been taking our dogs here for a little over a year now and have never been disappointed. We have a maltipoo and a husky Malinois. No where ever gets our maltipoos cut right let alone has him smelling good. They're always amazing with our babies and our dogs love being here we used to use mobile grooming because it was convenient but once we found this place we didn't mind having to take them to the groomers, because the job they do is amazing! I took my 3-pound (4 year-old) dog to Fresh Paws Pet Grooming in Studio City for a routine grooming - something she's used to and handles very well. She's a calm, well-behaved dog who gets groomed regularly without any issues. When I picked her up, I immediately noticed three of her paws were bloody. It was clear her nails had been cut far too short, into the quick. Multiple nails on each paw were bloody. The blood was intense, to the point it got on my clothing when I picked her up. I brought this to the staff's attention right away, but instead of acknowledging the injury or apologizing, they brushed it off saying "she will be okay" and told me they didn't see a problem. What made this even worse is that I was still charged full price for the grooming... no discount, no gesture of goodwill, not even a sincere apology. Just a rushed checkout and complete dismissal of the fact that my dog had been hurt in their care. Accidents can happen, but the lack of accountability, compassion, and basic customer service here is inexcusable. I left with an injured, distressed pet and a feeling of deep regret for ever trusting this salon. I will absolutely not be returning, and I strongly encourage other pet owners to think twice before trusting this establishment with their pet. read more

Fantastic groomers! Great price, great people and my pup looks and smells delicious. The owners were really great with her as she's nervous about people touching her and with new experiences in general. They were so gentle with her and sent me pictures and a video while she was being groomed so I knew she was ok. I opted for the regular nail trimming, teeth and ears cleaning, wash, anal glands clearing and just a little trim in a few areas and it's exactly what she needed. I feel other places really overcharge for what you get and here it's the exact opposite. Our pup is older and has little "old man" bumps all over his skin so anytime we get him groomed I ask that the haircut portion be extra gentle and careful, and Sam was just that. My dog had mats on his ear which I specifically asked to be cut not not brushed out. They did NOT follow instructions, we overheard and confirmed with them that they did not follow instructions. Tried to brush them out made my dog cry after I said I did not care how it looked aesthetically. I just wanted it cut out. The team here is phenomenal!! My family and I found two strays at the beginning of the week and I needed a grooming appointment ASAP to get them cleaned up. Fresh Paws responded to my Yelp inquiry almost immediately and had next day availability to groom the puppies. They were incredibly helpful and patient with me (a new temporary dog owner) who didn't even have leashes or collars for the puppies. In addition to the major makeover, the team fitted the dogs for harnesses, collars, helped me identify their breed and gender, and gave me advice on best food to feed them. I cannot stress enough that the customer service here was amazing and I am so grateful for their help. I was able to take them to vet after the grooming appointment and the vet located their owners due to the microchip. Fresh Paws helped me reunite the pups with their owner, so I'm forever grateful to them.
