This store would be somehow similar to Design Manitoba but smaller in physical size. Though the items here seem to be a bit more eclectic. It's a stand alone store located on St. Mary's across from St. Vital Mall just south of the Burger King. A great plus is that they are open daily. Worth a visit if you're looking for stuff for the house.

Horrible experience... the owner measured our windows and their installers told me that the…read moremeasurements were wrong. Because of this the final installation had the blinds at awkward angles and looking overall sloppy. The installers also did significant damage to the dry wall while installing the blinds and ensured me that they were installed securely. A couple days later, the valance FELL ON ME while I was retracting the blinds, which both injured my hand and bent the valance. They then proceeded to charge me the full amount without me knowing nor my authorization nor providing me a receipt.

Be prepared to PAY big bucks here for not a whole lot. $ 400 to take measurements of an existing…read morekitchen? Really. Watch your bill for double charges as well. Charged for everything including setting up the samples and PUTTING THEM AWAY. Really the highest price person in the company is putting away a handful of samples? If you don't like the original design provided, you will be charged all over again for another. Then be prepared to be charged for services not provided either. We didn't even look at flooring samples, but I was charged for this as well. I was even charged for the time I called to book an appointment! I wouldn't complain, IF the owner had at least discussed my issues with me. But after several months, no return calls/emails. There are plenty of other great designers in this talented city. Look for them.

It's in the same vein as Bella Moda and Design Manitoba in pricing and design though each store have a slightly different style and feel. Pricing is medium to high. I liked the Calligaris (Italian) line they carry. They have two levels with the lower level being the sale items. They have a section dedicated to Hunter Douglas window treatments as well.
