Carlos, Michael, and the rest of his team were A+ professionals from start to end. Super efficient and no-nonsense in their approach, extremely capable at a wide range of repair and remodel tasks, and focused on quality of the finished product. We ended up giving them more and more jobs because they did such good work, and we'll continue using them as we keep building out our dream home. I appreciate the cautious approach, attention to detail, and reliability / timeliness. Just a super solid crew, and extremely pleasant to have around the house as we were living here while they were doing their work.

That's not why you should hire Mike & Mike...well not the only reason, because their work is top notch. The biggest reason you should hire them (and I absolutely acknowledge I'm an old man yelling "get off my lawn!" here) is "honesty and integrity." These guys come from the old school of standing by your work and letting it speak for itself. My wife really wanted a fridge with an ice maker but the house we moved into didn't have a water line for that. I was trying to get an idea of what it would cost to have one installed so we could decide whether it was within our budget so we could pick a fridge and move forward with our lives. You would seriously not believe how hard that was. I made it abundantly clear to everyone I talked to that I knew they couldn't give me a binding estimate without actually seeing the project, and I begged for just a guess at a range...would this be somewhere between $200 - $2,000, am I looking at more like $10,000? Am I going to need another mortgage for this? I talked to probably 20 different handymen. 19 of them pretended they had no idea what it might cost and wouldn't even give a ballpark or a range without sending someone into my home so they could use their high-pressure sales tactics to make sure they got my business. They had either never done a job like this before, in which case I didn't want them, or they were lying to me, in which case I also didn't want them. Mike and Mike were the exact opposite. I asked what they expected it would cost, and they made their best guess and gave me a range of the top and bottom end based on really hard or really easy jobs. They were super flexible and easy to work with, and when the job was done they came in at the very bottom end of what they had estimated. They were on time, quick, super respectful, and my wife is smiling ear-to-ear. So yeah, there's plenty of handymen you could hire who will probably do a great job. It's been the same dirt lot since the house was built over a decade ago. We finally decided to get it done so our new dog could have a nice place to play, especially during the summers, where we can control the heat levels. JJ and associate came out quickly and made me feel really comfortable. There was no weird upselling (I wanted something really plain) and no fear mongering. I could tell immediately that we were going to go with Rock N Block so I cancelled my other appointment with a different company and put my deposit down right away. Within hours, JJ had the plans to me and I got the HOA paperwork started. Once that was done, I was scheduled immediately to have my yard worked on. The day of, the workers came, did a final measurement and got to work. It took 3 days but it came out exactly like I was promised and had envisioned myself. The workers were extremely friendly and self contained. They were responsible and trustworthy. They were also very concerned with my happiness. They asked me if things were looking good quite a few times. They literally made my yard perfect. I'm still looking for imperfections and cannot find them. If there were any complaints, the communication could be more but to be honest, they give information and don't feel the need to consistently remind you, which is also good. We did have a small hiccup where the workers didn't know they had to install a few other things but JJ made it right immediately and I can only be happy about that. I'd rather have the problem be solved immediately then get a phone call being told it would be done, although I can see how some people would want both. Pricing was fair in my opinion. I was told it should have been less expensive but I don't think so. The job is immaculate and the items are gorgeous with great quality. The craftsmanship means a lot to me and I would pay for it again. I wish I took some before pictures but I completely forgot to. Imagine a literal nothing of a yard. Now, it's gorgeous and I can't wait to accessorize!

On December 1, 2025, our entire house was destroyed in a catastrophic flood. We had just moved into our newly remodeled turn-key home 5 years previously and still loved everything about it. To say we were shell shocked and devastated would be putting it mildly. Our home was now in ruins. Bathrooms, cabinetry, flooring, drywall were all destroyed and our home was basically unlivable. We were down to studs and raw plumbing. We immediately began to search for the perfect contractor to help us rebuild our home and put our lives back together. We reviewed multiple contractors online and in person, as well as checking with the Nevada Contractors Board and local permitting offices. One name consistently stood out and was above all others. Jerezee Construction. They had hundreds of 5-star reviews which led me to review their gallery of photos on their website. Their quality of work caught my attention. I reached out to their office and spoke to Ian. We found him to be very professional. He immediately set up an appointment and was incredibly empathetic to our plight. The way he handled our initial contact was so different from other companies we contacted. The next step in our journey was meeting the owner Ilan who arrived at our home to assess the damage. It was quickly apparent this was an experienced and highly qualified contractor. He demonstrated exceptional standards, made suggestions, was extremely organized but above all else inspired confidence that he could help us. He reviewed the contract with us line by line, leaving no stone unturned and highly transparent with clear expectations. No hidden fees, and no surprises. Once the project began, a group text was established. This was updated twice daily throughout the project to keep us informed. We next met Heather, one of Jerezee's designers. Heather quickly recognized we were in over our head and inundated with so many decisions and choices to make. She took the lead and helped us make selections on flooring, bathroom tiles, color palates, hardware, lighting fixtures and paint. She made a comprehensive material list which was amazing. Heather was invaluable to us. She was so patient, knowledgeable and held my hand through every step. Both my husband and I are analytical with no creative bone in our body so doing the design part and picking out product was impossible for us. We couldn't have done this rebuild without her. We were assigned a project manager named David. He was the first line supervisor for all the crew and sub-contractors at our home. He was incredibly responsive, timely, accessible, patient, upbeat and positive always. He made a highly stressful period of our life bearable and was such a joy to work with. He was the right man, at the right time, at the right place for us. As the work progressed it quickly became apparent that all their rave reviews were justified. Construction started exactly as planned and they made the process so easy for us. They handled EVERYTHING! Their craftmanship was impeccable. It was as if they were rebuilding their own house. Ilan, the owner was often on site inspecting the work and the progress. Ilan and David were true perfectionists, and nothing escaped their skilled eyes. At the end of the project, we didn't even have a punch list! Their crew and subcontractors were always polite, respectful, professional and kind. Everyone worked so hard to get us back into our home and genuinely seemed empathetic and understanding of our initial heartbreak. In conclusion, Jerezee Construction and their entire team made a devastating time in our life so much less stressful. Many thanks to Ilan and his team of dedicated professionals. They were friendly & professional analyzing the situation and prepping the area to begin work. I was very pleased with the outcome. They accomodated my request to add an additional service that was not on the order. The team worked quietly and was respectful of our home. I was also impressed with the office management. He answered on the first call. Communication was great and was immediately provided a fair quote and, scheduled a time - upon reviewing my photo I will not hesitate to call the again for future projects.

There was general dishonesty about the price and sloppy workmanship from Nick and his partner. I have incomplete work that will cost me more time and money for someone else to do. Here's what happened: I texted Daniel a list of items I needed done in my house. He said he would have someone contact me immediately, which they did, so far so good. I went over my list of things that needed done: - floor trim (7 transition areas) - finishing baseboards (2-3 small areas) - drywall patching from moving electrical - rangehood installation and microwave removal - kitchen cabinet trim (5 straight lines, approx 30ft) - trim on 2 doors Separately I wanted a backspash installed, but we did not agree to do this within the initial scope of work, which is fine. For the above work, minus the backspash, I was quoted $480. Keep in mind, I had most of the supplies. I sent a message confirming all of this after Nick had come to my house. An hour after leaving, he sends me a text and says that after thinking about it, the molding for the cabinets is very expensive and needs an extra $120. Since that sounded far too expensive, and after going back and forth, we decided that I would buy all necessary materials, and he would charge me $400 for the labor. Even better, since the extra trim came out to about $80, not the $120 he said it would cost for extra materials. One unforeseen thing that happened was there was more damage to my kitchen island than originally thought. So, we discussed it, and Nick said to add an extra $50 to the total price, to which I agreed. After a delay of almost a week because Nick's partner had to go to Miami for family (understandably these things happen), the work started. Nick and his partner would spend a couple hours each night working on the projects until they were finished, again, totally fine. On the second time being here, however, Nick and his partner started trying to take shortcuts. - They chipped a transition and only tried to patch it - The center island drywall was cut so the baseboard went inside the drywall, and the drywall was shaved off - They didn't want to paint the cabinet trim with the paint matched color, they wanted to use spray paint, which wouldn't match Then, Nick asked if I could paint the kitchen island and trim, complaining that the job was costing them too much. Again keep in mind that I have paid for 98% consumable supplies up to this point. They only brought themselves, their tools, and a bit of drywall left over from another job. They continued to ask me to buy more things. Which is fine, I agreed to pay for the supplies. I'm totally fine paying more for work that was outside the scope of the original agreement. The island, for example. However, Nick started asking for more money for the same work. I would also understand if more work was uncovered along the way, but this was the same work that was agreed on at the beginning that was getting more and more expensive. He also wanted me to do some of the work he had said he would do in the first place. To me, this is unacceptable. So now I have unfinished and damaged pieces. - The aforementioned transition (damaged) - Uninstalled floor (transition) trim - Uninstalled Rangehood - Uninstalled cabinet trim - Uninstalled baseboards - Unfinished/unpainted kitchen island - Unpainted door trim

I am filing a complaint for Yelp regarding Cabinets & More and Daniel Wang for fraudulently…read morerepresenting himself as a licensed contractor and not completing the contracting job I paid for. The following is an abbreviated story of the nightmare he put my girlfriend and I through and I anticipate he will be prosecuted by the Nevada State Contractors Board for illegally performing contracting work without a contractor's license. After researching multiple contractors, we chose Cabinets & More due to their great reviews and friendly demeanor. Daniel gave off the vibe that he cared about us and his work, and his goal was to transform our current house into our dream house. Daniel let us know that the entire job would take 6-weeks, but wanted to give us an estimate of 2-months in case there were delays. Shortly after the 8-month mark, we fired Cabinets & More due to their extremely slow construction process and poor construction work. Unfortunately, the nightmare is just beginning because we have had to hire a tile cleaner ($450), an electrician ($350), a roofer ($900), gone to Hope Depot/Lowe's multiple times (to get supplies and recuperate stolen tools) and recently interviewed other contractors to clean up the mess Cabinets & More made (it should be noted that the contractors will not touch certain items Cabinets & More completed and still came up with costs averaging around $35,000). This is just the tip of the iceberg too because he stole approximately $1,600 worth of our tools and ruined approximately $15,400 worth of our furniture (I say approximately because every day we keep finding items of ours he and his crew ruined and/or stole). Cabinets & More got the notice to proceed on June 25, 2018, however did not show up to do any work until June 28th. From there, they proceeded to demolish our entire downstairs in 3-days...then no one showed up to the house for 3-weeks. This raised a lot of red flags since the first month was already complete and all Cabinets & More had completed was 3-days of demolition work. However, Daniel seemed really nice and we wanted to help grow his business and even offered to introduce him to our friends if he did a good job. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of all the problems we had with Cabinets & More and we learned Daniel would not take responsibility for anything and always threw others under the bus. Every day was a new excuse as to why nothing was getting completed. As the job continued, we kept asking Daniel why workers were not showing up. Excuses included not showing up for three weeks because they were getting permits (which they never got), not showing up for over a week because the foreman's truck was in the shop, not showing up for over a week because it was raining (this was a job that was 100% indoor), not showing up for a couple of weeks because of a break-up, not showing up for over a week because it was Chinese New Year, not answering the phone or returning messages because of sleeping pills or losing his phone (both happened multiple times and the sleeping pills excuse would be regarding messages sent between 1 PM - 5 PM), etc. He would pull on our heartstrings and even cry in front of us, however they were just crocodile tears because he is also the same person who tried to take our money and run at the end because he refused to take phone calls or text messages for multiple days until I threaten to sue him. On March 4, 2019, we fired Daniel and Cabinets & More and gave him a bill for all items stolen, ruined, unfinished, and incomplete. The final bill was for approximately $75,000, but I said I would work with him and only ask for half of my money back (approximately $45,000). After a few days, Daniel agreed and informed us he would pay us back. As I'm sure you already know, he did not pay us back and has been dodging phone calls and text messages sent out since. Daniel presents himself as a contractor, even saying he is, but when you dig a little deeper you will realize he is illegally practicing contracting without a contracting license. When we initially asked for his contracting license, he gave us a business license. All in all, we learned that Daniel is a narcissist and he cannot be trusted. Unfortunately, I am limited on how much I can write in this review, otherwise I would explain all of the items Cabinets & More incorrectly installed, never finished, and ruined. That being said, this Yelp page clearly has red flags because all of the reviews are either 5-star or 1-star...the 1-star reviews are real customers...the 5-star reviews are Daniel's friends. We are not the first people to get swindled by Cabinets & Moore, so please proceed with caution; and feel free to contact me if you have any additional questions regarding Cabinets & More.
