I went to this place about two years ago, I recently upgraded my sound system and there where a few surprises. 1.they use cheap amp kits. 2.they install shit u don't need. 3.they take cheap short cuts to install equipment. 4. They actually screwed in a rear deck speaker wrong and it broke. 5. I went to install a new head unit and told them to remove the hi/lo inverter from the factory radio and they were so lazy they did not, not even the head unit was installed right. Scheduled an appointment 9am a week before to confirm that work could be done on my car. Got there 20 min before appointment. Once the store opened at 9am no one was there to provide service needed. Asked if person was coming in. I waited 40 min to find out the person to complete the job was running late. Still No problem with this understandable. This is a father and son shop. Son Danny professional knows how to run a business that's the reason I even went to do business with them. On the other hand the father is not professional and has no clue how to talk to people. Let a lone run a business. He walked in while I was waiting and not once asked if I needed something. If I didnt ask about service he wouldn't have even acknowledge me. Then when he does he just acts like a jackass losing business is all he's good for because I would rather pay double or triple the price than to do business with them. As I was leaving a guy walked in complaining about his stereo not working after installation. The customer said he was told to come in today. And of course the guy that does the stereo installs wasn't coming in today. If you have time to waste then they will waste it for you. Wish I can give them a negative 5 star. STAY AWAY. read more

One of the best car customization shops I have ever been to in my life. Came by today to get my two front windows tinted and was helped and out in under 30 minutes. Only $43 including the labor. DONT COME HERE. I never write reviews but this place deserves to be closed. If you want to waste you money this is your place. If I could give a negative star I would. These people are unorganized and customer service is horrible. I went there to get a tv installed. After about a week of having the tv my car kept dying so I assumed it was the battery. I got a new battery and still dying so I took it to the dealership and they first said it was the cars computer but after paying 800 to get the computer changed they said it was an electrical problem so long story short I get some one to disconnect the tv and my car started working perfectly fine.. I go back to this place and tell the manager that I wanted a refund because the tv cost me a lot of money cuz they did the connections wrong at that point the manager tells me well your not getting a refund and how did I not know that the tv is a 12 volt and stays on Im like are you serious if you new the tv would stay on and kill the battery why didn't you tell me when you install it , he said I should of known so that already had me on edge. Then I said again I wanted the refund I spent all this money on the car thinking it was something else and it was the tv you Installed he said no one told you to take the car anywhere I told him if I didn't take it anywhere you would of told me that it could of been something else wrong with my car. He said it's not his problem so that really pissed me off. He tells me ima order you another tv. So he tries to look me up in the system but he couldn't find me so of course I'm even more mad at this point how do you not have me in the system when everyone else that comes here is. So he tells me Il call you in a hour so I can find you. I waited 2 hours and he never called back so I call him. He said oh yea the tv people don't answer that he will call me the nxt day I said fine. 2 days later still no call so I call again . Still no news. Next day I call the guy and he says I already ordered it so I tell him why not call me then,no answer. I call again after the weekend he acts confused like he forgot about my tv .. If I could get zero stars I would took my hood to get wrapped was told to come pick up my hood cause it wouldn't be done in the original time frame. When I sent my husband to pick it up he was told they don't have it and they didnt know where it went. I then had to leave work to go figure out what was going on and Leo told me.he dosent have to tell me that they sent my hood to get painted. Fast forward my hood now has a fresh paint job they then wrapped the hood I go to pick it up today and its covered in bubbles and scrached everywhere. It's also lifting on all the edges and it's pushed through on all the corners. When I pointed these things out I was told it was dye to the paint job which dosent make sense since it's was freshly painted and beautiful with no Knicks or scratches. U can clearly tell its from them not properly cleaning it before laying the wrap that caused the bubbles and bumps. read more

. I got my 2014 Acura ILX windows tinted at 15% tint on the sides and 25% on the back window. Its is pretty damn dark but not pitch black 0% visibility like some cars on the road. I decided I wanted to do that just 10 days later. I called to make an appointment. The person(male) said he could take the tint off but it takes a while and put the 5% on. I imagine it would have cost roughly $150 or more(including taking the tint off). He told me don't do it." You are really risking a $117 ticket and you are much more likely to get pulled over with 0% visibility". He didn't say "no", just you are" really taking a risk". I really APPRECIATE K Town Customs honesty. They could have made their money off me to do it, but the person recommended not to do it, although they would have if I persisted. I assure you that money you did not get from me, they will get with my recommendations to my friends and others to get their windows tinted there. I wish others in business were as honest. read more

Disappointed in their CUSTOMER SERVICE. We called on Dec. 23, asking them their holiday hours to get the car window tint done. They told us "closed on Dec. 24 & 25. And to be at their business on Monday(Dec.26) morning by 9 am". On Dec. 26(Monday)we get there by 8:45 to be sure we are there when they open at 9. We waited outside to also make sure we were the first ones in. Well, we called several times AFTER 9 because no one had gotten there yet. By now it's 9:30 and we have called and left messages. We then begin to leave and drive off. As we are at the STOP sign we look back and saw someone going in. We then turn back around and went inside. I explained to the lady receptionist how we were there since before 9 am. That didn't seem to bother her nor did she apologize. We stood around asking another question or 2 about the Tint strip, to the a gentlemen. (who was polite). The lady comes back and says in Spanish "Well, are you getting it done or not!" I then, told her again how we waited outside since before 9am and that the sign on the door says the OPEN AT 9. She said "Well, we open when we open!" I then mentioned how what she just said should be written on the door. This other rude and inconsiderate man comes thru the back door and says in Spanish really rude "Well then we will put the sign on the door"! VERY SARCASTIC!! Needless to say the only person who had good Customer Service skills was the taller guy with a hat on. We took our business to UNIQUE CUSTOMS and were treated with respect. Also, not to mention they had 3 cars ahead of us which means they had customers already coming in by 9am. We called them before 10:00. Didn't mind having to wait. K Town Customs used to have such good Customer Service years ago when they were on 192. That was the worst experience, I have ever had!!! When people are running a small business they should take classes on Customer Service, at least once a year. Just as big companies do. read more
