Worst nail set I have ever received. Literally took her 15 minutes for a full set, she told me to go wash my hands and then she was gone. I had to ask another employee is she was done with me. Cost $52 for full set and 15 minutes of her time. If I could give zero stars, I would. read more

I am new in the area and was looking for a nail salon that was open later in the day since I work until 5:30. I tried another salon in the area that ruined my nails so I was extremely happy to find this one. I stopped in after work without an appointment and they took great care of me. Horrible. Two days after i got a full set, my nails started catching in my hair because of the gap at my nail bed. It's now been less than two weeks (from a fresh full set!) and I've LOST two nails! The young girl cut me with the sandpaper drill 4 times I kept telling her it hurt but she kept going and youkd jerk my hand back each time I said it when she got to the part to put the nail dehydrate oil on it burnt like crazy to the point I was it tears it was that bad when I got up and said I'd wait on Nichole I waited like 15 20 min then she tried to get me to let some one else do them and I no thank you I'll wait on you then she said and 15 min later she had another appointment so I just walked out this isn't the first time they have messed them up and ive asked her to fix them and she wouldn't when I walked rite back in 10 min after I left wouldn't advise going their read more

I truly love giving 5 reviews. It's such a pleasure to help a small business, since my husband owned a small business. However, since I use reviews and friends to determine businesses that I choose, I want to share both my good/ great and poor experience. I have frequented KNails Salon since we moved near Jefferson City in 2016. My experience was always good. The only slight critique I had was the nail tech spoke very little English. However, she did an excellent job, no complaints. After Covid lockdowns were lifted, I visited KNails to find the staff and management had changed completely. The male nail tech who was assigned to do my pedicure spoke nor understood English. During my pedicure he buffed the slight callous on the ball of my foot until it almost bled. I yelped, the manager came over, explained to the mail tech in Vietnamese ?? The manager supervised the rest of my pedicure. I did not intend to return but a year later, with little choice without a 45 minute drive, I decided to try KNails again. The management and staff had changed again. I had a couple of good experiences. Recently, I went for a pedicure. The nail tech missed my toenail, cut a gash across my toe. It hurt, it bled! Another tech came over to help stop the bleeding. When I got home I realized she had stopped the bleeding by glueing my gash to my toenail. The mail tech apologized. They I will not return to KNails! read more

I'm not from around here and was just driving through. I needs to get a pedicure before Christmas so after reading the reviews, I've decided to come here. The guy who gave me a pedicure was a delight to talk to. He was very nice. However, the cleanliness of this place is close to none. I walked in, asked for a pedicure, an older lady pointed me to one of the seat in which I can see white residue in it before she turned on the water to mask it. I asked if it was clean and she nodded yes. Okay, maybe it was soap? Then as the pedicure begun, he started to pull out clippers in which I can see left over nails inside the clippers (I was really disgusted). A lot of the tools that were used didn't seem clean to me. I brought my own nail filer and buffer, thankfully... They then brought out a warm towel, it smelled nice, but it was brownish in color... it was supposed to be white. And to top it all off, I wanted a french manicure and showed them the picture that Kimbra K. Provided from this review and they were confused. They had to talk amongst each other and even took my phone. Guess that picture was not from them, it looks really professional anyways. Please don't provide a photo that's not even from this establishment, it confuses the workers. Overall 2 stars because the guy was friendly. He changed over and had the older lady do my French and it looks ok. My toes are ugly so I'm not going to show. read more

I heard manicure clients saying they love the manicures there. I went for a pedicure, because prior to the pandemic, the people there did really good pedicures. Management is not the same now. A man did the pedicure. He didn't cut my toenails. He left heel calluses and peeling skin on the bottom of my feet. He left a callus on a toe. The polish on one big toe is wrinkled. When I asked him to work more on the calluses, he rubbed oil on them. Period. I do a better job myself, and in fact, came home and worked on the calluses. read more

This place is honestly a joke. I'm a local and have had 3 interactions with them over the span of 3 years. Each time to try again in hopes they have gotten better. Nope! Overpriced. Rude. Horrible quality. Owners kids get yelled at in the back and smacked in front of customers, among other things. Just don't even waste your time. First time they charged me $85 for a mani pedi and failed to tell me designs were $5 extra each finger! Second I had a pedi (pictures attached, get a great laugh). Third I went to see about dip and they were going to charge me $50 including the extra charge to take off, when I get charged typically $35 at usual nail place which was closed that day. It's just laughable how ridiculous this establishment is. Hoping to save others who aren't locals and need a great nail place, don't even bother here. I've tried all in a 20 mile radius and the best and cleanest and reasonably priced is by far Cheri Nail Bar. read more

I was very underwhelmed with the service I received. The technician spent less than a minute per foot when trimming nails and cuticles. The foot bath was cold because they ran out of hot water; I understand they were busy, but no hot water at 1:00 PM seemed a little ridiculous. I ended up not getting a manicure because I feel it would have been a waste of money. Even when a salon is busy, I feel customer service and attention to detail is more important than how many people you can get in and out. I will not be returning.
