They assured me that they could do both services, rather than my returning for one of them, and also still have a blow dry. They both worked to do the foil and blow dry, and Frank gave me a beautiful cut. I was done in under two hours and made it home in plenty of time. I can't thank them enough for knowing how to effortlessly provide outstanding customer service, and for their teamwork in giving me such a great experience prior to the important meeting. Additionally, as another customer mentioned, the stylist didn't ask me how I wanted to style my hair, if I liked the cut, or show me the back -- they just said it looked great and then walked away. The price also was not justified by the cut and overall experience. I was also not happy with the Covid precautions, or lack of. No one wore a mask and they tried to tell me that it's okay b/c "everyone" is vaccinated (but how do they know if all the clients are?) At my normal salon, everyone is masked up and they seat the customers far apart, which was not what happened here. The place also gave a "I am too cool for school" vibe which was alienating, so I will not be returning.

Now let me give you a little bit of background information regarding my hair... I shaved my head in June. After 5 months of being in the "awkward" grow out phase, I had only gotten my hair trimmed once and unfortunately I was horribly disappointed with the end result. I have stick straight hair, but it is also very thick. So when it comes to doing a taper cut on the sides and back in order to even the regrowth out and clean things up, it requires a little extra care. Vanessa knew exactly what to do. I went into this appointment feeling somewhat apprehensive, but Vanessa put all of my fears to rest when I explained that I just wanted to even out the back and sides (which grow faster than the top, by the way). She took her time to create texture on the top of the hair without sacrificing much of the length, and she tapered the back and sides by hand, without using a buzzer. She even let me know that she didn't alter my natural hairline much, just shaped it up a tad and left it long so that I could continue growing it out.
