First (he started the car and backed it) into his garage and promise to check it over a few days later called and explained the problem however needed to order parts he kepted changing the total price then mentioned he does not accepted credit cards or checks.A few days later he called saying saying the parts are installed but my car will not start up he suggested my car be towed to Jackson Nissan after one week they could not fix the problem. The car sits for 10 months a year in a protected garage.We come to Michigan for the fall season. Fired up the car , had no brakes and could smell gas. This is a summer only car so no exposure to winter salted roads so little rust...but it is a 20 year old car. Checked all over Jackson, Mi for someone to repair the problem...of course most every repair shop was two to four days out before they could "look" at it. These guys immediately looked at it and gave me the prognostics. The repair was more complex than the rest of the day would allow to repair so they lent me their loaner car to use so I could pick up the wife that night a the Detroit airport. All repaired the following day by 10 A.M. Granted any repair of this magnitude is expensive but i feel it was fair and has a 2yr/24k warranty on the repair. You go TAMROX To make the cost a little less painful to my wallet that also gave me a 10% new customer discount off labor!!!!! Great folks!

I was convinced the fluid was low and leaking. Lesser businesses would have made-up something but Al showed me that the fluids were full and there was nothing to worry about. They restored the tire pressure (which caused the sluggishness) and didn't charge a cent. "We don't charge when there's nothing wrong. The inspection is free." This is who you want to do business with.

I brought my SUV in for repairs, and the whole experience was frustrating from start to finish. First of all, they kept my vehicle for an entire month, which is way too long for the type of repairs that were supposed to be done. During that time, communication was very poor. I had to constantly reach out just to get updates, and I was often left in the dark about what was going on with my car. They also made me feel pressured into approving repairs that I wasn't fully sure about. While my warranty covered some (or most) of the cost, it still felt like I was being pushed to spend more money than necessary. It didn't feel like they were working in my best interest--more like they were trying to get as much money out of the situation as possible. When I finally got my SUV back after a month, I immediately noticed that a personal item I always keep in the car was missing. I know for a fact it was there when I dropped it off. It's incredibly disappointing to feel like you can't even trust the place you're paying a lot of money to. I spent a lot--a lot--on this repair, and to be treated like this just doesn't feel fair. I usually try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt, but this experience left a really bad taste in my mouth.
