They gave us sample to take home so we could really see which colors would work in our space. They were able to quickly come out and measure the rooms and worked with my hectic schedule to do it in a day/time that was very convenient for me. Once measured and carpet was picked out, they did have a few week waiting period for install, but that was fine as we weren't on any kind of deadline. The installers came around 830 on the day and we're done around 1pm. They carpeted our living room and 3 bedrooms. Some rooms required more carpet that the length of a roll and the seams are invisible. They moved all our bulky furniture in/out of the rooms and we didn't have to worry about trying to do that ourselves. The carpet came out amazing and we couldn't be happier.

He tried to rush me through the carpet samples and said "The thing that irritates me about driving out of town and making a sales is that the customer never comes through with the purchase; are you serious about this sale?" I asked him " are you a selling cars or selling carpet?" The installer was prompt and on time. He was very polite and professional. He came in and did his job, clean't up his mess, and left! He worked solo and it didn't take him long at all! He was willing to help me move all the furniture back in the room, but I declined his help because I about to get ready for work. He was very willing to help and he was ready when he arrived to move everything out of the room, but I had it done already! Then the Manager came behind him and inspected the job! I had no idea that someone was going to come to make sure I was satisfied and inspect the work; I like that! I would recommend them if you need carpet installed! I hear that salesman is no longer employed there!!

To anyone out there thinking of buying flooring from these people buyer beware. September 2024 we…read morepurchased laminate flooring for our dining room. We told the salesman that we needed something that would stand up to our dining room chairs that have plastic rollers on them. The flooring he sold us he assured us would do the job. At about a year the laminate has begun to wear away due to normal use. When I called to report this. They initially said it should be covered by warranty. They then called to tell me it would not be covered because the flooring was not made to have chairs with rollers on it. When asked why did the salesman lie to us about their flooring. Their response was not their problem. So find a company that is willing to stand behind their product, and have them put it in writing. We will be replacing more flooring next year, but will never use Empire again.

Outstanding craftsmanship, professionalism, and integrity -- JDW Flooring exceeded every…read moreexpectation We recently had JDW Flooring install a Versailles-pattern parquet floor, and I honestly could not be more impressed with the result or the experience from start to finish. This was not a simple flooring job. The parquet required precise layout, exacting alignment, and a deep understanding of wood behavior, finishing, and sequencing. The JDW team approached the project with patience, skill, and pride in their work -- and it shows in every inch of the finished floor. One thing that really stood out: I supplied the parquet flooring, the sealer, and the polyurethane myself. Many flooring companies would have insisted on supplying everything in order to add markup or to control quantities. JDW Flooring did neither. They were completely comfortable working with owner-supplied materials, advised me honestly along the way, and treated the materials as if they were their own. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare. The crew was: Meticulous in their prep and installation Careful, clean, and respectful of our home Consistent and communicative throughout the process Clearly experienced with high-end and specialty flooring The before-and-after transformation is dramatic -- what was once an ordinary room is now something truly special and elegant. The parquet lies perfectly flat, the pattern is beautifully aligned, and the finish is flawless. If you're looking for a flooring company that values craftsmanship over shortcuts, is comfortable with custom or high-end work, and treats clients with honesty and respect, I cannot recommend JDW Flooring highly enough. We would absolutely use them again without hesitation.
