They were willing to work with me on shampoo because i am allergic to most of the scented ones. I was pleased their waiting room didnt smell nor did it have the artificial strong chemical cover up smell. It just smelled and looked clean. My skittish, rescue mommas boy wasn't sure about them at 1st, but when I picked him up, not only did he look great, he was wagging his nub-tail and was happy. While I waited for him I observed 4-6 other owners picking up their dogs. All looked good and were happy dogs. I will go back and can highly reccomend them.

She came to my house and took the time to get to know BOTH my dogs, before getting ready for the trim. She gave out lots of treats and both my big pups really like her. On her 2nd visit, they acted like she was someone they knew well (not someone they'd only met once before). She took the time to ensure they were comfortable with her being in their home. I will not be going back. Here is what happened: We took our Golden Doodle to this location back in January for a cut. The cut itself was nice, but I got the impression that my dog and I were AUDITIONING for HER to provide us a service we were more than willing to pay for. My dog is a Golden Doodle, a problem dog with his short curly hair, I understand that. However, like any dog, he DOES need to be groomed. We brush our dog almost every single day, and he is bathed regularly. Despite OUR efforts, while the dog was being groomed, I received calls about his "mats" in his hair (with us brushing his hair every day, mind you) and then more calls and complaints about the fact that the dog didn't like the blow dryer. All the while, we never complained about how long it would take or the cost of the cut. We understood that it was a difficult cut. After hours of complaints, I picked up my dog who had a pretty good cut. Fast forward to May, and we call and schedule a new cut. We go through the whole process AGAIN of her complaining about his thick fur, his tangles and mats, and how time consuming it would be. AGAIN, we made no argument about cost or how long it may take. She AGREED to the appointment, we took the dog in, and then she proceeded to call, complain that he didn't like the blow dryer, and then refuse to do the hair cut. If it is your job to groom dogs, then you probably shouldn't complain about the fact that some dogs WILL be more difficult to groom than others. If you want to exclude certain dogs from your grooming service, because of their breed go right ahead. But, don't waste my time by whining and complaining that my dog isn't a quick one hour money maker hair cut for you. We would have paid extra for any time it took, and we were more than understanding about constraints like if the dog wasn't blow dried at all. We didn't care. The only person with any complaints was the groomer. For that reason, we will gladly pay more to take our dog to a groomer who actually WANTS to do their job, no matter how difficult the cut. For the constant complaining and for making an appointment and then canceling AFTER we took the dog in, this one star rating is far too much for this business. Take your dogs elsewhere and avoid having to audition to get a haircut for your dog.

According to the lady up front, for $12 and an optional tip (I left $3) they cut your dog's nails and buff them out to make them nice and smooth. I'm taking 2 stars away however, because it didn't look like they did that with two of her paws (as pictured below). They look cut but unfortunately one of her nails wasn't even entirely cut all the way through. We did take her to a secondary groomer afterwards who did buff out all her nails and get them super smooth. Other than that they were great- price gets a star and so does customer service. I also gave a third star because they are able to do walk ins just for nail trims on certain days which is great! I just took two stars off because I didn't fully receive the service that I paid for on half her nails. Looking forward to going back and allowing them to try again as they seem to really care about their clients and animals. I'll just explain what happened last time.

Now the groomers have done the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I asked of them....they obviously have no idea on a 'puppy cut' or how to cut certain breeds, so that just shave them completely it seems!! They shaved my fur baby so close to the skin (and i mean everywhere...face, ears) that his skin is irritated and bothering him!! Whats more....I was inside my house working and they could have easily asked me since I explicitly told them NOT to shave him to the skin!!! This is the worse hair cut my dog has EVER had and, yes, he's had to be shaved before, but at least they knew how to do it! Her white cat has a large skin cancer tumor on her nose which has been stable and shown little growth (if any) over the past 6 months. It is not infected, or raw and doesn't appear to cause the cat pain or discomfort.She has a great appetite, is very active, and still has a very good quality of life. We took her in because today she was sneezing and had an extremely snotty nose that started today. We'd given her a dose of Claritin that seemed to help thin the mucus before taking her to the clinic. My friend just wanted to keep her cat from possibly getting a respiratory infection, to ask if there was a better medication than Claritin to keep her mucus thin and not cause her to have difficulty breathing. We also asked if there was anything that could be done to the tumor to keep it from obstructing her airway and extended her time with us if possible. Dr Jackson had never met my 80yo friend or her furbaby before today. They vet tech took the cat to get weighed once we got called back and Dr Jackson brought her in to us a few minutes later and IMMEDIATELY started telling us in a condescending tone that the best thing we could do is have the cat euthanized because she obviously had cancer. She didn't ask us any questions, she didn't pet or even look at my friends cat as she bluntly interrupted my 80yo friends and my attempts to explain why we were there and told us that she was advocating for my friends cat (whom she'd just seen for the 1st time less than 5 minutes beforehand) and that her cat was in pain, couldn't breathe and that my friend was trying to selfishly prolong her cats life by wanting to treat her symptoms. This cats airway has zero blockage by the tumor, it is not raw or scabbed at all and she was/is breathing and purring with her mouth closed. She has a hearty appetite and had just been enjoying bullying my 88lb German Shepherd yesterday. Both myself (56yo) and my almost 80yo friend agreed that Dr Jackson is the rudest, arrogant and uncaring vet that either of us has ever taken a furbaby to see. I was literally sickened thinking that if any other elderly pet owner had gone alone or had not researched the cats symptoms and options beforehand, that Dr Jackson would have succeeded in ending the life of a cat she'd just laid eyes on 5 minutes earlier. She was going to do this without taking a full history of the cats symptoms and without considering the mental state or emotional needs of her owner. We did finally persuade them to do labwork, give her an antibiotic shot and prescribe her steroids to prevent sinus congestion and infection. Thankfully the vet tech that was assisting the dvm was caring, understanding, knowledgeable and understood our expectations and reasons for not just giving up on a cat my friend has had for 17yrs. She was everything the obviously inexperienced vet was not. That dvm desperately needs to remember that when you care for a beloved pet of someone, you are also responsible for caring about the feelings of the owner.
