They were willing to work with me on shampoo because i am allergic to most of the scented ones. My skittish, rescue mommas boy wasn't sure about them at 1st, but when I picked him up, not only did he look great, he was wagging his nub-tail and was happy. Now the groomers have done the EXACT OPPOSITE of what I asked of them....they obviously have no idea on a 'puppy cut' or how to cut certain breeds, so that just shave them completely it seems!! They shaved my fur baby so close to the skin (and i mean everywhere...face, ears) that his skin is irritated and bothering him!! Whats more....I was inside my house working and they could have easily asked me since I explicitly told them NOT to shave him to the skin!!! This is the worse hair cut my dog has EVER had and, yes, he's had to be shaved before, but at least they knew how to do it! Recently took my tripod Yorkie for grooming. New to area and based on online reviews decided to…read moretake her to The Animal House for grooming. She is a 10 year old who has been groomed regularly her entire life with only one incident of injury (a cut in between her paw pads). All groomers have consistently praised her for being a sweet dog and a pleasure to groom. Dropping her off found facility appearance and greeting was pleasant. When I picked her up the owner advised my dog was kind of squirmy during grooming. Immediately upon returning home she began persistent licking and chewing all over her body and it was obvious that either her skin was very irritated or she had possibly picked up some fleas. Upon inspecting her I found she had multiple clipper burns on her belly and on the insides of her rear legs. Also noted her hair cut was pretty choppy and overall it did not appear she had been groomed by an experienced professional. After 5 days of the constant licking and chewing I took her to the veterinarian to see if it could be determined what was causing such terrible irritation. Vet believed she was having an allergic reaction possibly to the shampoo as when she examined her closely found raw spots all over her body but no visible evidence of fleas so she put her on a 15 day course of prednisone. Now after 7 days of prednisone she is much better. Vet expressed that maybe she shouldn't be groomed there anymore. Based on the poor quality of cut, multiple clipper burns and such serious skin irritation I don't believe we will be using this groomer again.

They don't consult you before trying to do a blood draw they just do it! My poor cat! I did not…read moreauthorize it and they just did it and when she was brought to me she was terrified and they couldn't even do it! She had high blood pressure and they have an old school style so they didn't get a proper reading and she was extremely stressed! They then over prescribed blood pressure meds that made her worse and ended up taking her to another vet where it was discovered her blood pressure was too low from being over prescribed!!

After paying $50.00 upon picking up his dog he asked why she still smelled terrible; he was informed that they only cut the dogs hair, no baths are ever given. Not only was my father lied to, he was taken advantage of. His dog continued to severely itch after her grooming appointments and now we know why. Grooming consists of a bath not just a cut. If your company is overwhelmed do not lie to your customers. My friend has also stopped using this company for the same exact reason.
