The Long Version: My husband and I were in Montreal and even on vacation I love to browse UberEats for BOGO (buy one get one free) deals. Poke Monster popped up and they were right by our hotel so I got us 2 Shrimp Tempura Poke Bowls and it was only $22. I placed the order and we headed out to pick it up. It was like a 5 minute walk and was ready when we arrived. The bag was huge and fairly heavy. When I opened up the bag and containers I was pleasantly surprised to find 5 tempura shrimps in each bowl. I ordered the bowls without sesame seeds and without teriyaki sauce (because I've found that sometimes teriyaki sauce contains sesame seeds). I also got the Spicy Monster sauce on the side. I was pleased that my order was just as requested. Although I noted that they sprinkled sesame seeds on top of the sauce that was on the side, lol. It was ok because I just scooped off the top of the sauce and gave it to my husband. In addition to the shrimps, the bowls were sushi rice, iceberg lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, avocado, tempura beads, and nori. The sushi rice was very good. There was also a lot of it. The vegetables are fresh. I would have like more lettuce and less rice, but that's just my preference. The shrimps I would describe more as torpedo shrimp, since they were coated in panko crumbs as opposed to tempura batter. Nonetheless, they were good. Crispy on the outside and the shrimp were tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was a spicy mayo and I liked being able to control the amount. Service was courteous and efficient. Although I didn't interact with staff much during the pickup. There's seating inside the restaurant. They also sell bubble tea. Poke Monster is great for fast food poke bowls.
