I'm very disappointed in the window cleaning services I received from you. You got a one star because I HAD to. You came WITHOUT MASKS..... I asked for inside and out, changed my mind to just because you DIDN'T HAVE A MASK ON. OUTSIDE ONLY. Then I again asked you to clean the inside as well and the tracks, because that's what was needed..... "Is that your final decision?" was the comment. Mind you... I have an infant.... and a health issue..... you should have a mask. I found you were extremely rude.... the job was done very badly. You put scratches in the window tint on several windows. You charged $190 for 9 windows. You were asked to acid wash them. Which I don't see where you did it. You helped yourself to sitting on my sofa and gave a $180 quote to clean three bedrooms and a living room. Your receipt notes $125 for 6 rooms. We all have bad days, but.... get real. Be nice and do your job appropriately. We won't be using your services any longer...... P.S. I've been a customer for a long time. You just lost my a count! read more

Certain windows still look dirty.. called them to have them come back and fix it and they never showed up.. window washers are a dime a dozen.. skip them and try someone else.. read more

We had window, track and screen cleaning done. Consumer beware. Window track cleaning insisted of a quick vacuuming, not even a damp rag for that. They pushed out the window screens and they felt to the ground, which should have been my warning, but luckily nothing broke. One helper took the screens to the corner of the house and helped himself to our garden hose for the cleaning. He rinsed off our sliding screen door with the hose and let it dry, which caused water spots. The other man, John was doing the windows with his squeegee and let the water run down, leaving streaks below the window. I rated two stars, because the screens came out good, but he did leave everything wet outside. All together I would not recommend them, nice people but the work was unprofessional. read more

I received a coupon in the mail from this company for window cleaning (inside and outside) for a single story home under 1800 Sq Ft. for $99.00. I contacted the company and was told "Oh no, that doesn't include mobile homes". REALLY? I checked the ad and brought it into work for my co-workers to check the ad. No where does it say that they don't offer the "deal" to mobile homes. Very deceptive advertising. She was standing by her "no mobile homes" rule even after I told her the ad didn't mention that as an exclusion. After reading their numerous reviews I guess I should be glad I didn't hire them. Don't Use these guys !!! If I could give them a negative star I would... Here's the bottom line: 1) They were late and didn't communicate 2) Did not do a good job 3) Most important item of all... Sean was mean, condescending and complained the entire time he was here about not charging enough. He scares me !! He said my tiny home was a custom job that should be billed at $125 an hour and would take hours... also that his boss John didn't price my job correctly. I should be charged for a custom job. I have a small one story home that is less than 1450 sq ft and he thought I was being underbilled at $145. Sean came with his helper Jimmy (he was ok) and the two of them were here for less than one hour and cleaned all of my windows and screens. He called his boss on arrival and said this would take 3 hours. He clearly doesn't know how to estimate a job and over exaggerated which caused more phone calls with his boss John. They were here less than an hour and finished. Jimmy did a good job and Sean was worse than sloppy including using the toilet in our master bathroom and leaving the toilet seat up !!! If I had gone with a custom job it would have been $125 instead of $145. Sean's ego was so large that he had to insult me when I was paying the bill (which I will be stopping payment on), he looked me straight in the eyes and said, "You should have taken the custom option it would have been cheaper." Since I was alone I said nothing... But was totally pissed off and insulted that this kid could be sooooooo rude, mean and inappropriate. If he worked for me I would fire him but the way in which he talked to me he sounded like he owned the business or is the owner's son so he clearly thinks he could get away with this condescending communication. I was so stressed out when they left that I called John (the boss/owner) and left a message about the situation and Sean's obnoxious behavior the entire time he was here. No callback. I've had all day to think about this. The truth is I was scared to confront this twenty something year old because my husband wasn't home. He was mean and his eyes were evil. I know a lot of people in the Temecula Valley area and will be spreading the word of this worse than poor service !!! read more

I asked for window cleaning, carpet steam cleaning and tile cleaning, at my small rental house in Rancho Bernardo, and John did all that in a few hours, all by himself, and even replaced a window screen that needed it. Great job, at reasonable prices, and my white floor tile looked like new! I'll definitely use him again, next at the house where I live. I had a 7:45 a.m. appointment today. They did not show up or call. I called them at 8:05 a.m. and left a voicemail. At 9:20 a.m. they called me back and said they were "backed up". I asked how they could be backed up at 7:45 a.m. in the morning (their first appointment of the day) and got no response. They rescheduled for 4:00 p.m. today-same day. At 4:05 p.m. I left a voicemail. They never showed up (again) and again not even a courtesy call. It's now 9:00 p.m. and still not even a call back. To be fair, I am not sure if they do good work or not because they never showed up. What I am sure of is you have to leave a voicemail every time you call and if you are fortunate they will call you back. As for me, I waited for them at 7:45 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and nobody showed up. read more

Called in early October and scheduled my Christmas light installation. Was happy to get it scheduled for the day before Thanksgiving. This company has hung lights for me once in the past a few years ago so they are familiar with my home. The woman scheduling my appointment had my home information on file confirmed it was a one story, confirmed the square footage of my home. Gave me a price that I felt was fair and on par with what we have paid in the past. . When the two men arrived to install my lights one of them asked me if I wanted all of my bulbs pointing out. I told him it didn't matter what direction he installed the lights but that I wanted them all installed in the same direction. He rolled his eyes and told me the price it would cost which was $150 more than the price that was quoted for me over the phone. When I told him I was unable to pay that price he didn't even say a word, he threw my light back in my box and drove away. read more

I wasn't going to write this negative review because I've used Justin Time in the past and was happy with the work they performed on cleaning my windows and because the job I'm complaining about was done about six months ago. But, as I stew over the sloppy work that was done on repairing my screens and the damage done to my kitchen backsplash, I think it's time I said something. I had several window screens that were damaged and need to be rescreened. I also wanted to have my kitchen counters stripped and resealed. I marked the screens needing repair with painters tape and stayed out of the way while the workers did their job. One of the workers, John, who had worked on my house many times, told me he was unsure how much it would cost to do my countertops and how exactly he'd do it, but, since I had used Justin Time in the past, I expected him to charge a fair price for a job well done. At the time of payment, I was shocked that it was $200 just for the counters alone, but that was my fault for not getting a firm quote up front. Lesson learned, I thought, and paid the bill, deciding that in the future I would just have them do my windows. After they left, I looked more closely at my counters and saw that the white grout was stained grey, and some of it was chipped away where the counter and backsplash meet. I tried cleaning the stains with a magic eraser but it didn't work. I was frustrated but since John didn't seem too confident in the job to begin with, I decided not to call the company to fix it. Then on to the windows. They looked okay, but some spots were missed, not a reason to bother anyone to come out and reclean. Finally, the screens. They were new, without holes but looked a little "baggy", not taut like they should be. One of the screens I marked was missed so I called Justin Time and asked that they return to repair it. John came out and took care of it and then told me it would be $20 (or whatever the per screen price is) I told him no, I already paid for the number of screen that I had marked, including the one that was missed. He kind of argued with me and then let it go with a rude "whatever" tone and attitude. So, today I opened two of my big windows with screens that had been replaced by Justin Time. As I looked outside, a gust of wind came through the screen and it moved a little, in and out, like a sail. It's frustrating to pay good money for shoddy work and rudeness, I won't be calling Justin Time again. read more

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED! I have used Justin Time Window Cleaning Services and Holiday Light install over the last 6 years. NEVER AGAIN! There was some type of change in their company partnership -- with the better partner leaving the company. Since then, the quality of work is inadequate and the service team incompetent! This year for my holiday light install it took 4 trips to my home in an attempt to correct their faulty work where exterior lights were installed with portions that did not illuminate. The problem is they think fast is effective, but it only led to inefficiency and frustration. I was kind to installers, patient with their errors, and flexible with multiple scheduling appointments in an attempt to correct; however, the work was never corrected. My holiday light install remained flawed the full holiday season. For holiday light take down, the team never showed up for the pre-scheduled and pre-paid appointment. I called and left several messages to request that they take down the lights. When the did arrive to take down they yanked them down, damaging the house and lights. I encourage you to re-consider when working with Justin Time. The initial experience with them was adequate but for a long-term service company, this new (sole) owner simply does not care about quality of work or customer service. I have been a past regular customer who will return no more! I will make sure to share my disappointing experience with friends and neighbors looking for window cleaning and light install. I live in a great community of upscale, large homes. Their pricing is based on home size. It would be to their benefit to recognize that JUSTIN TIME can't treat customers and property in the lacking and unprofessional manner they have. Don't even bother. Had an open house scheduled for Sunday so i arranged to have these guys do my entire house on Saturday. Appointment for 8am. Received a text shortly after booking them saying they would be at my house between 8 and 8:30. Send a text message at 8:55 asking if they were on their way, no reply. I waited until 9:35 and finally just sent them another text message saying not to bother coming. I tried to get an appointment with a different company, but I'm going to have to wait until Monday. So much for a good open house. My neighbor across the street had just asked me to get a card from the company after they were done. I guess that's two houses they missed out on. Judging from all the reviews on this site, they won't be in business very much longer. read more

Be careful...don't use these people. Very dishonest and rude. He quotes one price then tries to raise it. He put up my Xmas lights last year and quoted the same price this year but while installing he said he needed to double it because I "screwed him last year" because he should have charged more. He also did my windows a couple months ago and damaged a screen and put a permanent mark on my BBQ. He's done with us and if you need a contractor for windows, floors or Xmas...You can do better...a lot better! read more

I've used this company for windows and Christmas lights for years. Last week they cleaned windows and after they left I found a broken screen. They came back to fix the screen but charged me $20. I asked why the fee and the owner said they didn't break it. It was broken before they came. The screen was not hanging and banging against the window before they came. I asked him why they didn't show me the broken screen before putting back and he replied a lot of screens have been breaking on houses lately because they are old??? I will not use they again. This company provided about the worst window washing experience I've ever had. Our house is 2700 square feet but it only took them 60 minutes from the moment they arrived to the moment they were done to wash the windows, tracks and the screens. They charged me $215 for that service. They were in the biggest hurry of their lives. The windows had streaks and dried on spots left on them. They even left soap bubbles around the edges of the glass on all the windows! After they were done, I had to point out to them to at least remove the soap bubbles. The oldest out of three guys didn't take it easy, he immediately got defensive and unfriendly. I must honestly admit that they have spoiled my day! I just hope I can pretend to be happy with it when my husband gets home from work. Please, spare yourself some nerves and disappointment, find another provider. I sure will! read more

BAIT AND SWITCH -- BUYER BEWARE ****OWNER VERY RUDE AND CONFRONTATIONAL**** I had a quote to get my windows done and the guy switched it from flat rate to hourly. My original quote was $235 then the guy said well this is a custom home so I need to charge you more. I told him I have a budget and that's the price I was quoted. He said well we're here and we're slow this time of year. After they took off the screens, then he said about their hourly rate of $125/hr. and said he can't do it unless it's hourly. I felt that since they already took everything off , I had no choice but to work with him on price so I asked how long. He said approx 3 hrs. After 3 hrs, he only got done about half of the windows. I asked him again how much longer and he said well dont know, maybe an hour or hour and a half or longer. I figured the rate it took him to do what he did in 3 hrs. I would end up owing him close to $1000 so I told him just to put everything back in place. He wrote me an invoice close to $500 and I told him that he didn't even do half of the windows and there were several occassions when I tried to look for him , he was by his truck!!! I don't know what he was doing but one time I caught him smoking so he charged me while /he was doing his breaks and smoking at $125/hr. When I asked him to work with me on the price, he was rude and became confrontational that I felt threatened so I end up writing him the check just so he would leave my property. He said he's the Owner and didn't want to budge an inch. I believe in what goes around comes around. It will come back to him what he did or he's doing. I need consumers to be aware of this company. I'm not sure if they are members of BBB but I will be definitely filing a complaint. read more

Terrible experience with the owner. A worker broke the wand off of one of my blinds and broke the hanger for my stained glass window. They did not tell me and I didn't notice until they left. I called and spoke with the owner about it. He was not apologetic at all said that's the chance you take when you get your windows get cleaned. I would never use this company again. read more

Cant recommend. Called to make an appointment. Per their coupon they quoted me $135 plus an additional charge to clean the tracks which is fine. When I gave them the address and found out it was a custom home not a tract home they said that it was $125 per hour. Seriously--$125 to wash windows my dentist should change careers. Contrary to some reviews on here, the owner and workers were kind, even though their first job required extra work and they were working well into the afternoon with no lunch break. The owner John and his coworker Sean came out and did my windows today. I thought they did a great job of washing the windows screens and cleaning the tracks. All the work was done within an hour and a half and they actually replace the screen on my slider for a fair price. I'm not sure why they're getting bad reviews as I didn't hire them to be sociable. I just think they're busy and have to move onto the next job so they hurried to get their work done. My windows are spotless and they put everything back where they found it. HORRIBLE JOB! LOUSY ATTITUDE! Would be ZERO starts if it were an option! Hired them to hang Xmas lights. Guy claiming to be the owner shows up. Asked him to use only extension cords that are rated for outdoor use, and not to walk on my roof (they cracked a tile last time.) His response: "I have roof cement." Really?? You find it ok to crack my roof because you have cement? I get all the water damage from a leak (I won't know there's a crack until it leaks!!) and it's OK because your going to come back some day!! Then, no more than five minutes later, I see him install an "indoor only" extension cord. When I asked him if it was rated for outdoor use, he yanked all the lights down, breaking my set of lights, and drives away, leaving staples strewn all over my driveway! (And I have this all on video on both my cell phone and security system if you want proof!) Check your Xmas lights!!! If these guys used unsafe cords on your house, your house could burn down!!! Last but not least, cleaning 39 windows, inside and outside, and the screens (this is how many hours of work??) costs LESS than hiring these guys to spend an hour hanging lights!!! First off I have to say the owner and his coworker are extremely rude and unprofessional. When they arrived I opened the door and they walked right in without introducing themselves, The owner said to me "windows, screens and tracks?" And I replied yes and then he began to walk upstairs. Not "hello my name is" or "nice to meet you, thank you for your business" or anything that you would expect from somebody coming to your home to do business and that would be trying to earn future business would do. After they were done cleaning the owner enters my home again and sits down again, without saying anything to me, at the kitchen counter and informs me that I need to pay him extra money because he had to do scraping on my windows. I told him no one told me that there would be a possible up charge and he said the lady in the office would have no way of knowing if they needed it or not and I said well you could've let me know before you started instead of coming to me at the end and saying I need to pay you extra money. I told him this is bad business and that I wasn't going to pay because of that point. He then stormed out without saying anything, he basically left as he came rude and unprofessional. I will not be using this company again and to hear that they install Christmas lights, well I doubt anybody wants to have the Grinch hanging their Christmas lights! read more
