I played last week at Pebble beach and had to quit after the first hole because I ducked hooked all my balls in the woods. Please help Jubal: okay. Let me see you hit a few. Me: (thwack ... boom.... curse word, curse word, slam driver into the ground). Do you have another ball? Jubal: I've never seen a person lose a ball in a golf simulator. I am glad you came. I can fix your driver yips. (Tinker tinker screw screw). Try this club. Aim a little left and swing along your feet. Me: okay. ( thwack ... boom ... curse word, curse word, slam driver into the ground). Jubal: Uhhhh?! What was wrong with that? You hit that 350 with a 2 yard fade. Me: That is my routine. After I hit driver, I turn around say the four letter word in both adverb and verb form and slam the club into the ground. Jubal: well, after you hit the shot, you don't have to do that anymore. Me: What's a fade? Jubal: It's when the ball starts left and gently goes right and hits the fairway. Me: Wow. I have never seen that before. What kind of shaft and club head is this? Jubal. The shaft is made out of unicorn hair and the club head is made out of adamantium. Me: Really? Jubal: here at ugp we have the latest tech to help you play better at affordable prices. Hit another one. Me: ( thwack ... boom ... curse word, curse word, slam driver into the ground). Jubal: You hit that 360 dead straight. You don't have to curse and slam the club into the ground anymore. Me: Oh. My bad I forgot. Wow. You fixed it. I am speechless. Jubal: You're welcome. I am glad I can help. Me: What's a fade again? Jubal: Have fun. I am happy you stopped by. Me: Wow. Thank you.

Kevin was very friendly through the whole process and a great teacher of the game. Throughout the week I would look forward to our lessons. They were always great. We started and I picked up the mechanics of the game fast with a few tweaks (many not a few) to my swing and later in the summer we went on the course. The first time I played it I hit par on a whole and I cannot describe the feeling of this. Highly recommend him to any beginners (and I'm sure experienced golfers too).

I decided to pick up my old clubs and go to the driving range at Rancho Park. I hit a few good balls but became frustrated that I wasn't consistent. In the bay next to me were a couple of children about 10 years old who were being coached. I started listening and realized it was a lesson. I listened to the coach and liked his manner with the kids. I figured that he could help me too. His name is Kevin and I set up a lesson. Kevin helped me develop good habits and a swing that fit my age and ability. He is patient and encouraging. He employs demonstrations, video tools, and a calm demeanor. I have discovered that golf can be frustrating. Golf is also a great source of pleasure and satisfaction. I always come back for more. Same with Kevin; I've taken at least 20 lessons from Kevin and I always walk away with what I need to become better at golf. Kevin has helped me immensely. I enjoy practice, and now, I play regularly with new friends I have made through golf. I'm sure he can help make you a better golfer, Getting better each and every day is always the goal in this sport.

**NICE CLASSIC CITY GOLF**…read more PARKING Parking can get crowded, even on weekdays, so be prepared to park a little farther away and walk to the clubhouse. Arriving early for tee times helps. PRICE For Los Angeles, the rates are very reasonable and one of the better values for an 18-hole municipal course. The layout is fairly forgiving for beginners but still enjoyable for more experienced players. The fairways are generally in good condition and the greens are usually well maintained and roll true. Hole 4 is a personal favorite. One unique feature is the constant overhead airplane traffic from nearby Santa Monica Airport, which adds a fun and very "LA" atmosphere during your round. OVERALL This is one of the most convenient courses in LA and a great place to get a round in without leaving the city. It's only about 10 minutes from home for me, and it's easy to get paired with friendly golfers from all over LA. The course is affordable, accessible, and consistently enjoyable. A solid 4/5.

He will work with whatever swing you have and make you a better, more consistent player. The technology they employ -- launch monitor (with all the data you could want: spin rate, launch angle, club head speed,, approach angle, etc.), and video (front and down the line with real time measurements of all relevant body angles) -- is so helpful in translating feel to what you're actually doing in the swing. And Jack is expert in focusing lessons to take you through a process that produces your best swing. My index went from 13 to 8 in the 6-7 months I've been working with Jack, and I think I can get to 5 (or better) with some work on my putting. I compress the ball better and hit more greens. I honestly cannot say enough good things about them, and if I could give their gym 100 stars, I would. I started training with Kim 3 years ago. I set out to just do a few training sessions to get back on track as I'd always been an exerciser but had fallen off the wagon. My experience with Kim was so postive that I kept coming back. Its three years later and I'm so glad I'm still working with her and Chris. I've lost some weight, I feel a lot stronger and healthier, and I feel more balanced in my attitudes towards food and exercise. I've lost body fat without going on a crazy fad diet. I love it! This is of course very frustrating when you enjoy the game and want to be decent. We purchased a package of sessions from Jomel for my partner and I, and this was definitely the way to go. Plus it was a cool way to connect together Jomel is a great teacher, he's patient, spends time focusing on each person's body and style and even the psychology (I have a tendance to want to drive super far), so he works with us to find solutions to those issues. The lessons were fun, informative and creative. He realized that I have a short memory, so what I'd learn in one lesson I'd often struggle to remember when we practiced. So he took videos on our phones we could watch later of his instruction on our form. This really helped. Jomel worked with each of us individually (somehow we both have unique learning styles and issues that required different direction). We saw improvement in our consistency almost immediately. We practiced at the driving range and while we still weren't good, we were at least consistent which was the goal. Jomel continued to help us with the rough edges until we felt confident and even understood if we had a bad shot, what we did wrong. After we neared the end of our sessions, he offered video 'consulting' to answer any questions or check on our form. I am grateful for his help and strongly recommend his services
