I had a large gum recession that I wanted to have corrected - I had been told by two other dentists that I would eventually need to have a gum tissue graft in order to do so and finally was able to afford this procedure. When I called the office of Dr. Elliot Neuman, reception was friendly and extremely helpful. Turns out, my insurance wouldn't cover any of my expenses towards this procedure (I told you, useless), however Bluegrass Periodontics gives you a hefty discount for simply having insurance at all. Reception went out their way to contact my insurance and confirm their coverage - every office should be so helpful (that process is so frustrating and tiresome). Soon after returning my call, we were able to setup a date for consultation and procedure in the same visit, seeing as I already knew this was a necessary procedure and had a referral for the problem area. Dr. Neuman and his dental assistant were both welcoming, warm, and friendly. I was seen almost immediately and felt very comfortable. The procedure itself went by smoothly. I have no dental anxiety whatsoever, so I was numbed up pretty highly, but not put under. This is an option if you need it. I'll save the descriptive story for in-person inquiries because dental procedures are subjective (people, please stay off WedMD). Overall, Dr. Neuman was considerate, comforting, and quick. We had two followup visits to make sure my gums were healing up nicely - they did and they look fabulous. So happy with Bluegrass Periodontics and would highly recommend!

Bazina was in place of my son's regular Orthodontist DR LENA SHARAB, I saw that Bazina was at his computer before coming over to the treatment area to treat my son, so I politely said to Bazina, 'I saw that you were just at your computer, will you please go wash your hands?' He looked at me at said, ' I don't have to wash my hands! We are only required to use hand sanitizer!' I said, 'That is preposterous that you will not wash your hands before treating my child, you are going to put your hands in his mouth!' Then Brook, his assistant piped up and backed him up saying, 'Yeah, we're only required to use hand sanitizer!' I said, 'Unacceptable! Go wash your hands!' She is always so kind and upbeat. Very rarely do I ever see her without a smile on her face. I have seen 3 different techs: Tristan, Laurie & Angie. Every single one of them have been kind, amazing, thorough and professional. I have gotten to know them and they have always made me feel welcome and like family. Tiffany, one of the checkout gals, has also been very nice and kind. She has always been willing to help out me and my husbands billing issues or just general questions. Dr Thompson has been my Dentist throughout this time as well. He has seen me through removing my wisdom teeth, cavities, Invisalign, whitening my teeth and just overall teeth health. I recommend him as a great Dentist. Their facilities are always clean, including their bathroom. After several calls to Justice where they gave me false information and changed their story three times, they refused to honor their agreement, In addition, while reviewing my charges, I discovered they charged me twice for a $100 service. They did refund this after I brought this to their attention. Needless to say I do NOT recommend them.
