Phone calls are not returned in a timely manner and text messages oftentimes go unanswered. We contracted with this firm after an automobile accident by an uninsured motorist in October 2016. I lost quite a bit of time off from work to attend chiropractic sessions and when we completed we asked for status to settle. No response. After asking again, we were told we were in arbitration. Fast forward to Dec 18 2019 and the firm receives payment from my insurance firm. I received a text message asking for authorization to sign and deposit. We granted permission and were told that we'd have our split after the check cleared along with a deposit into our account. Again we were told we'd have a deposit in by Monday Dec 23 2019. Complete silence for the following four days and then a response on Jan 6 2020 that they'd work on the draft as they were working on distribution after settling with the hospital. About another week of waiting and we finally receive distribution paperwork. We sign the releases on Jan 9 2020 and were told that they couldn't deposit into our bank account. A check was supposedly in the mail but it never arrived. I asked for the mail date and the response was "yes". Jan 23 2020 I was sent a text asking if I received a check yet... my reply was no. They told me if I didn't get a check by 1/24/2020 they would draft a new one and send it via three day mail. Mail takes two no more than four days to go across state lines and it's been over two weeks. I don't comprehend how a check for that amount was sent via regular mail vs certified. As I stated, it's disappointing to leave this review as they have failed to follow through on their end...

I was unexpectedly blindsided when I learned that my previous attorney was seriously ill and unable to continue representing me. With less than two weeks before my child custody hearing, I was terrified about what would happen next. From our very first conversation, Neil gave me confidence. He and his entire team were kind, compassionate, organized, and incredibly professional. They worked quickly to get completely up to speed on my case, communicated with me every step of the way, and made sure I felt prepared and supported throughout the entire process. One thing to know about Neil is that he's very direct. He can be a little blunt with his words, but it's because he genuinely cares and tells you exactly what you need to hear, not just what you want to hear. I actually came to appreciate that about him. With nearly 20 years of experience, he has the knowledge and confidence to guide his clients honestly, and I always felt like I was in capable hands. He is firm, strategic, and focused on getting the best possible outcome. Thanks to Neil's dedication, experience, and advocacy, we won our hearing. I didn't…read morejoin at that time thinking that I could get the same service through my employer legal coverage. Boy was I ever mistaken! My mom went through our employer legal and she got a 20 page document for her trust. That's it...And here we are 10-15 years later and now I'm finally ready to do my trust. Needless to say I ran... and I mean ran to Collins Law Group remembering the seminar I attended before. Right of the bat when you sign up you are greeted with a new video seminar by one of the young attorneys (Lioness) and her family (the kids are so cute too). I signed up hoping to get the attorney that did the presentation because she seemed really engaging! Let me tell you from the time I walked in the door everyone was so super attentive. In the attorney room they even have an special hand-calligraphied placard with your name welcoming you and a tray full of goodies and beverages set out for you! And this is every time you go in. Attorney Lioness was amazing! She put me at ease and even put up with my constant last minute changes about my beneficiaries. Needless to say no one was disinherited, but I even had a last minute change on the final day of signing (lol). She (Lioness) took it all in stride and made the adjustment. Again I can't say enough about this exemplary lawyer (Lioness) and the firm she works for. They allow you two months to pay for the trust (remember they are private) and unlike my mother's paltry 20 pages (through the employer paid legal) my final signing came with a personalized video dealing my decisions, a heavy binder with about 200 pages of details, a beautiful tote bag to carry it all in and a parting gift of a mug and some other things ;) In closing (and sorry this was so long) , but if I could recommend Lioness and the Collins Law Group any higher I would!!!!!!!! Awesome and well worth your time!

ONLY the INITIAL service is GREAT. Heaven help you if you need to do anything a few years after…read morethat. I paid $6000 for my Revocable living trust. NOW they want another $3,500 to basically change the pages of beneficiaries with the pages that I emailed to them. On a computer this would not take more than TEN minutes. It only took me 20 minutes to type it up myself from scratch using the original document as a template. I don't see ANY OTHER reviews of what happens a few years down the road. So, let me warn you - That is when you get treated like trash! I had to make several calls to get them to correct a clerical error THEY had made in my original document. (They had put the name of another client instead of mine upon whose death my charitable donation should be made.) I left numerous messages before anyone called me back. Something that should have been handled quickly required way too much effort on my part. NOW, I see what I did wrong. I should have charged them $3,000 for making the error that was CLEARLY just sloppy work on their part. Then there was the Email that that I kept getting from them with the title "No Time to Wait? Learn How to Update Your Trust in Our Free On-Demand Webinar". I got this email at least six times. When I clicked on it, there was absolutely NOTHING to do with updating your trust. I called the office to find out "what's up?" No reply. I sent an email. When I finally got a response to my email about this seminar, I got a reply from them saying there is no such video available - yet. When I got the same email about a week later - alerted the them and they assured me that I WOULD be REMOVED FROM THE LIST. Nothing was mentioned about removing this inaccurate email completely from others. I recently asked "Is it done yet?". I was told It is coming soon!
