Chris Miller represented me in 2019 for a shoplifting case. Embarrassingly, this was not my first time in court so I was concerned I was going to get a harsher punishment. If I could, I would give Christopher an 11 star review!! As one who had no prior history or trouble with the law, military veteran retiree, I don't drink or do drugs, and was facing a felony charge (and enhancement) , which surprised me because I was the victim actually, but they never asked my side! I never thought something like this could happen to me, now in the golden phase of my life. Somehow I was now "In the system". The Prosecutors and the DA wanted a win and what they wanted was severe overkill for the situation, I was in a district that prides itself on saying they are "tough on crime", (the Inland Empire) except sometimes people get caught in the system that should not even be there. Chris fought for me like a "Bulldog!" It took 7.5 months, but Chris was able to get those charges dropped, and negotiated it down to misdemeanor! Even when I needed to go overseas to see my family during the case for an emergency, he even negotiated for me to go for 90 days!! It was amazing! This is the kind of attorney you want on your side, he is non-judgmental and knew the situation, and what kind of person I truly am, and he told me that a second in time when something happens, it does not define you. I could feel that he had empathy for what they were trying to put on me. Chris would text and call me frequently and keep me updated, even when I was overseas. If I needed to speak to him I could put a request with his secretary for the calendar, or text him and when he could he would call back. Chris has a demanding presence, and displays confidence, and will tell you truth about your best outcome, and he doesn't promise what he cannot deliver. He has a good relationship with several district courts. They have much respect for him I feel. Even one other person at the courthouse asked me: "He's a paid attorney?" I said "Yes", and he shook his head, because he said he had a public defender and they were putting him in jail for a year. I told him, "Chris' fees are reasonable and he can work with you." Don't hesitate, call Chris and his power attorney wife, who is also in his office and they work together. They are a true "Power couple!" My life is back on track, and we are moving forward. The stress is now off of me. I was so worried and stressed that I literally was having chest pains during the process. In one year, I will work with Chris on expungement. I do not intend to ever need this kind of help again in the future, but if I do, Chris would be the one I call.
