Lakeline Mall used to be a vibrant place filled with retail stores, but appears to be deteriorating after losing anchor tenants. Inflatable Wonderland is a bright spot near one end.

Another parent with a child the same age as mines felt the same way as well. The intercom kept going on about anyone being older than 3 should not be in the area but the kids weren't really listening until a staff came by. I honestly think the parents in some way should be notified/aware to keep their kids in check. The place isn't well kept IMO and I found debris in the toddler area that could easily be a choking hazard. The play house area was a mess and you could hear stomping and running from the kids playing above the first floor. There is a tv in the seating area for adults to keep an eye on their kid which is nice. They do have food and drink options too which is more extensive than most indoor play areas in Cedar Park/Leander. I think this place is great for kids older than baby/toddler age but not for my child who is younger.

Don't do it in open area where all kids see it, of course they would want it too but get rejected. They should do this on every weekends or just let other young kids have it even tho they're not on the party. Just a small paint, 1-2 fingers nail paint or small balloons jus to make them happy. You already making $500-$800 for 2 hours from the party (2-5 parties a day) just let kids be happy getting their face pain, nail paint or balloon, I'm sure it's probably only few kids.

At no time was my husband or I notified of an incident occurring at the facility or during art class. Rob McDonald and Whitney Seaton both employees of the Rec facility assumed I was aware of the situation solely based on speculation that my aunt who was caring for my daughter while I was away on business had been able to get a hold of me. The first time I heard from any party was when Rob McDonald called my cell phone to tell me the outcome or determination for my daughter's enrollment in the class. Rob called and stated my daughter could no longer attend art class at their facility. Rob and Whitney did not call us as parents to inform us of the incident or to tell us that you all would need to speak to all parties involved like my daughter or the other party BEFORE coming to a decision. They spoke to the other party ONLY and decided based on that one party. Due to the other party involved being Caucasian and us being minorities this does make the situation feel race related. It does cause my husband and I to feel like there are grounds for a civil suit for discrimination. Not only did you all reprimand my daughter, but you all allowed a white entitled father to also reprimand her. You all failed my daughter and did not keep her safe. Pflugerville Parks and Recreation Dept as a whole needs new procedures and policies in place to protect other children of color from discrimination like what my daughter was subjected to. You all are at fault for how this situation was handled. Young Rembrandts and the Pflugerville Parks and Recreation facility decided based on a "she said" scenario without communicating with all parties involved and doing an actual investigation. Our daughter was traumatized and terrified by the father that approached her. Rob and Whitney continue to word things like you aren't privy to what occurred at the facility entrance and framing things as if he approached my aunt and daughter. Please do not minimize or attempt to downplay what that father did. He walked up to my 8-year-old black daughter, and he said, "Did we have a problem today?" My then terrified 8-year-old responded to him and began to explain herself. This is a situation that no child should ever find themselves in. I will not stand for any injustices. I do not recommend this facility if you are a minority.

It's definitely an aging facility that doesn't boast the latest in exercise equipment, but we have those places around. Here's what I love: $2/hour child care, and it's GOOD -- people who seem to love kids are taking care of them. $1 walking track -- you can't beat that for a walking alternative when it's too hot, cold or rainy. Finally, great programming -- the swim lessons at Gilleland Creek, gymnastics for kids -- again, taught by kind, loving and knowledgable instructors. I really feel like this is a special gem that gives me the warm "pfuzzies" about Pflugerville! :)

My son's first birthday party was incredible because of this petting zoo…read more The animals were super cute and they had a variety of animals; goats, baby chicks, chickens, bunnies, a small pig, and ducks. The kids absolutely loved all of the animals and especially the pony rides! The people are friendly and very informative of the animals while the kids were petting them. They were able to set up wherever we wanted which was convenient and so exciting to have right in our backyard. They were quick to set up and to even put the animals away. This petting zoo is affordable and easy to contact and book. I highly recommend them if you are interested in booking a petting zoo. Thank you for making our son's first birthday a memorable one!

Was told the date I wanted to book was open only to be told it was double booked after they took my deposit. Afterwards the staff never returned any of my many emails, voicemails or calls. While I wanted to love this company, I unfortunately was extremely disappointed and out my deposit although I never breached contract and should have received a refund or at the very least a call back or email back. Terrible experience that almost ruined the event, gratefully I was able to find a replacement since I could never get El Rancho representatives to email or call me back after many attempts.

We love that there is an age max (1-6) because some of the other indoor playgrounds get over run by older kiddos and it just becomes too chaotic with a toddler. First experience here, the signage isn't great (yet) so there's a banner out front saying they're coming soon. You're in the right spot. The door will have their name on it. They work on a time slot, we did a walk in with no issue. Early in the morning, I imagine on weekends and/or later it might be better to book in advance online. A few quick logistical things- you are required to wear socks. We forgot and they gave my kiddo their first pair free. I bought a pair- no big deal. You can't bring outside food or drinks in. They seem to have a decent drink menu and snacks available. They have tons of tables with views of the play area. I was able to sit nearby and still do some work. Everything in here feels super toddler friendly, my girl felt confident enough to walk around and explore it all.

However, as I get older and wiser, I tend to branch out in my date Devil adventures...ever so slightly. On my bucket list for a date devil adventure is jumping from a plane. I'm not there yet for parachuting out of a plane. Today, was the big day for what I consider a dare devil adventure.... Ice skating. In my head I repeated this mantra.... Let's go, let's go, let's go!!! You got this. So, sheepishly I walk up to the counter and ask how much the entry fee was...$20 including skates... not cheap but not crazy expensive either. Ok. You can do this. I ask if I sit outside before I go on the ice. No problem the skate representative said. The fee included skating to 1 pm today. I had plenty of time to muster up my courage. Then my mind started to swirl and then spin...fast and faster! Next, I was in a full on Exorcist head turning moment. Girlie, you no spring chicken any more. You are not twenty years old. Why is it so cold in here? Why does it feel like ice is flowing through my veins? Remember when you broke your little toe in two places...exercising.... Ugly boot for three months...no heels for 1.5 years. Run Delores run!!! Your birthday is next month. Do you want to flat heels for your birthday. Nooooooooooooo!!! I jumped up and bolted out of Chaparral Ice like I was being chased my hungry pack of wolves. I applaud myself for trying to be adventurous today. However, I'm not quite there yet. Pricing is very reasonable for a two-hour playtime, at $19, and you can try them out for free to see if your little one likes it. There are several play areas, such as a kitchen, a play fort with a slide, ladders, stuffed animals, and building blocks. My little one loved the slide, learned to climb the ladder, and was very impressed with the mini kitchen. There is a small cafe serving coffee, cold drinks, and pastries. You can bring your own snacks. Shoes are not allowed in the play area, so make sure you are wearing socks. Oh, if your little one is under 6 months, there is no charge! What a great addition to the neighborhood!
