A few things i have to say 1: i waited a vary long time to get a blowout 2: woman who did my hair had an attitude 3: tryed to over charge me 4: woman burt my hair ,it smelled like barbecue for the rest of the week I would NOT recommend to anyone. read more

I never review here ever (first review). Jasmine is SO amazing along with everyone else working there. Everyone is so friendly and works together to help you look amazing! Jasmine gave me exactly what I wanted and then some! She takes her time to ensure that your hair is to perfection. I went to a different salon for YEARS and after I saw her work and went to her I couldn't be more satisfied that I switched. She's SO talented with everything from the cut to the color to the blowout! She got me to a color I never thought I could achieve. I would give her more stars if I could! Forever a client. read more

To start off, I would never go to anyone but Jasmine for my hair. I read these reviews and I was actually at the salon the same day as Kayla V. She came in with black hair at the bottom so regardless any salon she went to... her hair would have taken forever to process. Also, this really bothers me because I have been going to jus jas since they opened also I was her client when she worked in the city. I travel to Staten Island to visit her. I have long bleach blonde hair and YEA it takes her along time to dye it blonde because she uses a low developer... unlike a 40 developer that would damage your hair. You can't expect to be lifted from CVS box dye black to Gwen Stefani blonde in 2 hours. It isn't possible NOR healthy. Ok well besides that problem I love jas. She gives the best hair cuts. The night before I got engaged she cut my bangs so wispy and beautiful she made my entire engagement a dream. Jas thank you for all that you do. Your work is amazing and anyone that is on yelp should try for themselves before reading reviews from people who know nothing about hair. 5 stars from great personality to hair. Looking forward to using you for my wedding and the rest of my life. I highly recommend this salon to anyone. Ask for jas. read more

I only get gel manicures. My issue is, they charge $23 extra for chrome. I have never heard of this, not even anywhere else on the island and chrome isnt even that expensive to purchase. So honestly, that is why I stopped going, I like getting chrome often and to charge additional $23 is absolute robbery in my opinion. I decided to try a pedicure, which I was hesitant about. The chairs seem so unsanitary as they are cloth, and also stained. Basically, when it comes to sanitation idk how thats even allowed. they do not recline so it's not comfortable sitting there and the bowl your feet go into is small and your feet are not submerged or sitting in water like most nail salons. The girl I had did my pedicure completely backwards. She did my nails first with dry feet once she finished painting them (gel pedicure) then put them in the water and massaged and then I left. It was such an odd experience. Although she did a nice job. But maybe thats her style and im just used to the original way that every single nail solan does. She also had to push up my chair herself just to make it easier for her to reach me. That doesnt seem fair to her-- reclining chairs have modes to make the chair closer to the tech. Like its so strange that they dont have this.... I feel like they prioritized the aesthetic over practicality. With all the sweat, friction, and skin contact in that area, the fabric is bound to harbor bacteria. I honestly don't see how it can be properly cleaned and sanitized after every use.

Another nail tech chimed in and blamed me and said I should have gotten a Russian pedicure if I knew I had ingrown toenails.... I didn't know they were ingrown. They never bothered me in the past. Well now months later because of the way the skin and the sides of the nails were cut, I now have ingrown toenails that I never had before. Also the polish was not neat :( I used to love this place

I first heard about this salon from a friend. Jasmine is the owner and the sole hair stylist in this salon. I liked her Salon page on Facebook and was able to see the amazing before and after photos of her haircuts and color. I have blond highlights that always seemed brassy. I was afraid to leave my current stylist but took a chance. I drove from New Jersey to New York with my daughter and we both had our hair cut and highlighted. I must say, I have never been happier and my daughter is still smiling from ear to ear. The trip to New York was worth it!! I highly recommend you try this salon as you will receive the utmost attention from Jasmine. She was trained in New York at one of the top salons and it truly shows in her work. Her skills are Amazing...best known for her Ombré colour and her long bob haircuts (she sports one herself!!) when u leave here u are truly transformed. From the moment you walk in you get greeted by her mom which is the nicest sweetest woman asks if you would like water or coffee while you wait & will start up a conversation to make you feel comfortable! After that Toni will wash your hair depending on what you get & let me tell you she washes hair greatttt! The best wash I've ever had ( part of the reason I keep going back) Then you get seated in one of Jas chairs and she is super friendly & so easy to talk to ! After sitting there for 20 minutes I was asked "what I wanted" and when I said wash and blow they said ok. I proceeded to wait an additional 40 minutes to have my hair washed. During that time a stylist who was not busy at all proceeded to look at me while she cleaned her brushes, sat on a zoom call, and the ultimately took another client. After a hour of waiting they finally started washing my hair during my wash I was told I would have to wait another hour for my hair to be blown out because they had to do two other people's hair, not even the two people that were before me. I get a LOT of complements on my hair, and it's thanks to my stylist Giovanni. I've recommended Mancini to coworkers, my patients, and many others. And everyone who's gone here have had excellent experiences as well. I've even used them for my wedding, and entire bridal party! Mancini Giuffre is like NO OTHER salon. They actually care and love their clients. While money is only part of it, they literally enjoy what they do and it shows in the results. They treat you like family and there are no cliques. My girl is Nina. She gave me a consultation in July/2019; then my first appointment August 7. Whatever you ask her to do, consider it done.
