The ice cream counter is in the rear, and there's a decent selection ... but it was neither premium nor craft ice cream. The ice cream was a middle-of-the-road commercial brand -- Hershey's. They're either overly sweet, a chain, or the donuts are amazing but you have to chase them down because they're a food truck. This place is exactly what I've been looking for. It's super convenient, the staff is friendly, it doesn't hurt my teeth, and there are so many flavors to choose from. I also really appreciate that they stick with the traditional donut flavors instead of trying to make everything super experimental or over-the-top. The shop itself is super clean with a nice, welcoming ambiance, and there's plenty of parking. Definitely happy to finally have a local donut spot that checks all the boxes!

Upon entry, to a much larger venue than the first location in Port Warwick, we found a large baby shower in progress. The entire eatery was taken up with shower decor, guests, games and gifts. So suffice to say, my experience will hopefully not be repeated. I am sure the delightful owners appreciated the business that came with a full on house party, but I did not. IMO, an event like this should be held privately, before or after hours, or in a portion of the venue not the entire place! Thankfully, the accommodating staff made a special place for us at a small counter area outside the restroom. They did not really have enough seating for us but offered an extra chair and we all kind of crammed in. I cannot say enough about the staff, service, food, it was all amazing! The place looks to be decorated super cute, at least what I could see beyond all the baby shower paraphernalia. There is space for more than a few more tables for guests. I suggest they fill that space if they plan to allow more party takeovers. I know I sound a bit miffed, but some places are not set up for parties along with non participating visitors to the establishment. This is one of those places. While we were crammed into the corner we were happy to have, they were playing games, dancing and having a good old time. Not the ambiance I was looking for that I would hope would be the norm. We were assured the baby shower ended by 1pm, but at 1:30 there was no sign of anyone trying to leave, except us. The party was still in full swing. Still, 5 stars for decor, staff, food like icecream, macarons, crepes, waffles... they need some help on the drinks because grabbing a can or bottle from a fridger in the middle of the room ruins the vibe. Offer some blended fruit drinks or teas. Anyway, I hope they do well in this Kiln Creek location, and leave the full venue party bookings for after hours.

Oh well, guess I'm the first one up :) I actually came here on two occasions, with the first one taking place during their 1st anniversary of operation and they even sold their cupcakes costing only a dollar. As a matter of fact, they even sold out. Talk about support from the community. For my first visit, I bought a Strawberry Crunch cake along with a Strawberry Crunch cupcake for my girlfriend (she gave thumbs up). And for my 2nd time around, I ended up choosing Banana Pudding cake. Very, very delicious. Both cakes were full of flavor and very moist, which is most important.
