History

Established in 2005.

JBYS was incorporated in August of 2005, moving to it's current location in 2006. It was purchased by Nicole Hayman-Sherman in January 2013 by the last remaining of the original owners. Nicole is the current President, Owner, Chairman and sole shareholder of the corporation. Since January 2013, the offerings and schedule at JBYS has grown and the studio is now open 7 days a week

Meet the Business Owner: NICOLE H.

Nicole is an experienced certified/registered yoga teacher RYT 500, children's yoga teacher(RCYT), certified prenatal yoga teacher, as well as a certified meditation teacher. Having taught yoga in the local area over the past few years, she has practiced yoga almost her entire life. She over 40 years of yogic practice, beginning as a child with her mother has been given Nicole the opportunity to experience various styles of yoga, including: Hatha, Iyengar, Power, White Lotus, Bikram, ISHTA, Kripalu, Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin. It is this experience she brings to her teaching of yoga. In January 2013, she became the Owner and President of Just Breath Yoga Studio located at 1918 N James St in Rome, NY where she is still a regular teacher.
