Love walking along the trails with my four legged baby and truly feel blessed that I am able to enjoy the quiet and beauty of the gardens. It truly gives the area a unique feel combining art and nature. The garden runs about a 3 mile stretch and features over 20 large scaled modern sculptures and interactive displays dispersed throughout the walking trails. Additionally, there is a frisbee golf park which makes this a fun area for families to get out and enjoy. There is also a Vietnam Veterans Memorial section as well. Highly recommend a visit to the gardens if you find yourself in the Rome area.

(If you scroll through their prior reviews you can see that they have taken it upon themselves to leave a bad review for any and every sculpture park, river walk, or development that hosts a Lundberg sculpture. Why? Unclear.) Don't let that bad review fool you! This sculpture garden/nature trail is a true gem. Located in Rome, NY on the former Griffiss AFB, this park/trail is well worth your time. There are 28 wonderful sculptures, most of which are approachable from the trail. Signage tells you about the provenance, artist, and materials. There are five linear miles of paved trail, perfect for bikes, jogging, strollers, wheelchairs, skateboards, etc. It is also well set back from the road so don't be deterred if you have kids, there is plenty of open space for them to run around! This is an amazing all season experience, perfect for walking, snowshoeing, xc skiing, and anything in between. There are portapotties available if needed. Trees make a lovely allee along the trail. Stay tuned for a disc golf course that will be installed this summer... in short, don't sleep on this trail!

My street taco is with beef. The tortillas are toasted, which is a nice touch, the sauce, the salsa and the guacamole are nice and pairing very well with the taco. HOWEVER! The beef is quite SALTY. I could finish most of it by adding the salsa and the Guac but man, it was just too salty. Sir Flower's burger is massive. Two patties stacked with their special French fries, though tried with Guy's smashing technique, it was still too big to handle with "dignity", lol. So we went. Only thing good was the simulator we booked the VIP. The food was absolutely awful. When in New Hartford I like the local solid spots. Service was extremely slow. I won't blame the servers fault it was just her. I can honestly say I will not go back. I'm actually mad I came to New Hartford and couldn't even get chicken tenders or boneless wings cooked correct. I hate posting these because I support small business. Total waste of money.

Event is a multi- day event steeped in italian history and culture with over a hundred teams vying for the top title. Crowd is always welcoming and you find yourself becoming family pretty quickly . There are no children's classes, adult classes only. Teens with sufficient maturity level may be allowed to join. Classes are informal by the standards of traditional Japanese martial arts. There is a relaxed atmosphere in which laughter is often heard, as well as the thud of bodies hitting the mat! Jesberger Sensei comes from Syracuse three days a week to teach classes. We are very lucky to have such an experienced and talented teacher to come to the Mohawk Valley to teach this beautiful martial art. Currently there are classes on Monday and Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:30 p.m. and continuing until the last student leaves. Students arrive and depart as their schedules allow in this informal class setting. And there is a class on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. Students can pay by the month or by the individual class whichever is more suited to how often they are able to practice. There are no long-term contracts. Teaching Aikido is a labor of love for Sensei.
